The same reason they thought it was a great idea to remove Marth's (and by extent Lucina's) double SH fair as well as nerfing Zelda when she was the 2nd worst character in Brawl. The developers don't seem to be very logical sometimes.

Falco's not even good on any mode while Zelda is at least good in doubles along with Samus. Falco borderlines being the definition of mediocre to outright bad character design alongside Zelda, Diddy, Lucina, Dark Pit (a literal clone unlike Melee clones), and Melee Pichu. Short hop multi aerials I can understand being taken out, but the landing lag for Marth and Lucina? Really? Let's look at Shulk and Ike's landing lag and/or autocancels and their range and power.

Speaking of smash tournaments, I went to one today and got second! Won a $25 gift card! Lost against Nairo.

I think all the din's variants are equally bad

The explosion size of the default and ability to aim it up/down makes it better for edgeguarding, Din's Flare is probably better for onstage purposes, maybe things like punishing laggy attacks at mid range. I still like Blaze the most I think, but not by a whole lot.

Anyway, I might want to stop using Fox's Jab cancel on For Glory players. I think I made a dude ragequit after I picked Fox for the last match after using Captain Falcon to mess around - spiking with Raptor Boost and Utilt is so fun. He just stopped after I did it to him the second or third time on his second stock. He had a good Triple D, but the last fight was against his Bowser. This is probably the fourth or fifth time someone ragequit after I used Fox's Jab cancel.

Also, does anyone know Wario's hitbox for his Side Smash? I used Falcon Dive to follow the stage's contour to recover and it killed me while I was under the stage.

Haa yeah, a friend and I made Smash into a soap opera completely by accident while sticking eight CPUs, all of one character, into 8player smash and pausing at random times to see what we could get. Zelda is a bird.. Half the Duck Hunts are stoned, and our official soap opera is Super Smash Soaps: All My Luma.

Squall is a combo breaker and resets disadvantaged spots to neutral. It also gimps and breaks out of Multihitting moves.

Strike Semi-spikes and and uncharged it makes them slide much farther than default. It does insane damage and charges faster. It also has no blindzone.

Squall means giving up Wind, so no, I don't think it's good.

Strike is easily the best phantom to me and I would always run xxx3 Zelda, but it's still Phantom and Phantom really isn't anything amazing.
