Oh what? No. I've been using Marth in SSBM for quite a while now (I think I set Marth as my Melee main since yesterday)

And I was the original Macchiato of Smash 4 secondaries before he was new to this website. Just saying. My main remains to be Shulk since day 1 though

You should learn G&W so if you ever lose a match in a tourney against someone insanely good, you can spam Side B and hope you win.

Eh, G&W isn't one I'd recommend. Some good single strikes but not much combo and follow up potential, at least from my experience playing him. (Maybe I just suck with him, I have no idea.)

9 times out of 10 you'll run into someone online running that exact strategy with him though, hoping to introduce the dreaded 9 hammer to your face, ending your reign of terror.

It's because she's a really well developed character in the Mario series and many people like her personality. Rosalina has her fans just like how Peach and Daisy have theirs.

At least with Diddy it's an intricate battle of item play, baiting, and top-notch DI. He's overpowered but I can at least feel it's a David vs Goliath moment.

The year is 20SassSass. Everyone plays Zelda at SAS (Sass Asassted Speedsass) levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on sass priority. The RSP (Rock Paper Sass) metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

but she isn't well developed, it's not just hate over having fans for no reason (although it does yes add to the pile). It's hate over her not being a character, with no personality, no development with the only good thing about her is luma a completely different character

Your character is major in just about every Zelda game and the series was named after her. She was also in Smash first. And she has wisdom.

Rosalina is a relatively newer side character at best in the Mario series who uses her children as slaves and as a crutch to be successful.

The cruelty she displays in Smash 4 is almost unbearable

Forcing her Lumas to puke star bits, ignoring their cries as they plummet into whatever horrors lie below the stage, and simply summoning another Luma to abuse when the first one dies.

I think I'm going to keep Zelda as my main, and use Rosalina only when I play doubles with my brother.

Luma is definitely the bigger issue, but Luma along with Rosie's invincible U-Smash and a Projectile nullifier? Too much protection even when Luma is gone imo.
