what you said

what I read

I spend too much time on twitch
Nah actually I'd just be in a skype call with online friends and using skype's screen share. Most of the time it's easier than having friends over at my house since work gets in the way.
The perfume loving bees never stung me, though it's all about staying very still and not making sudden movements if they happen to -shiver- land on you. No, my first bee sting was because my lil toe brushed over one that was, for some reason beyond me, on the ground, near me - and I couldn't see it cause I was distracted on the computer. The moment I felt that fuzzy little thing on my foot, pain instantly followed.
I don't mind them, but at the same time I'm still not very keen with the idea of them actually landing on me. A couple times when we've had yellow jacket nests around the house, my dad would get stung, but I'd always manage to avoid it. Those things make me nervous, though. They sting with a fury.
Fun fact, I remember running barefoot across my backyard when I stepped on a bee, its stinger burying itself right in the middle of my sole. I was young, but I wasn't actually bothered somehow. I've also managed to step on burning, broken glass, firework sparkler crumbs, and more sharp rocks than I can remember. My feet have suffered a good bit of abuse.

Dark Pit in front of regular Pit

That's a lot more than a hyperbole

Okay screw pause buffering, passable SDI isn't as hard as I was expecting as long as I know the hit's coming. I got what I needed:

Being able to get frame perfect SDI with the Home button would be terrific for research purposes though. Still unsure why that doesn't work.

That is actually the most accurate S tier I've seen to date.

Japan is swimming with Yoshis, we just don't have them over here. I'm not sure how many are actually winning things over there though, if any.

Yeah I was never stung by a wasp either, but seeing their nests also made me iffy. Also, sometimes when all this stuff happens to us when we're reaaaally young, it's not as bad sometimes to try and compare to how bad it was, since our memory of it is vague. Like I had my ears pierced when I was a baby, so I couldn't have possibly remembered how painful it must have been.

Sis, you have a sturdy body then. My body is annoyingly delicate, like the tiniest scratch will look as if I was slashed by a dragon.

Here in Monterrey you're walking down the street and you encounter like 3 every 3 steps.

Also, I hope Diddy gets nerfed by getting deleted off the game.

Just gonna clarify some stuff with this because the thread didn't mention it; this is due to the footstool animations of DK, Bowser, and Charizard causing displacement that allows them to be hit by quick frontal aerials immediately afterward. The post about it in the tech thread (earlier than the linked thread, much more informative) cited similar possibilities with Luigi's fair, Mac's nair, and Jigglypuff's Rest, among other things.

So, what you're telling me is that Jump Canceling is possible in this game through footstools? Welp, time to post a Devil May Cry gif because The Time Has Come. :p

If only Dante was in the game.

Oh yeah, those nests are always unnerving. I remember when I was moving from learning how to drive my mom's car to driving the old Ford Escort wagon. We've had that car for all 19 years it's been running, and for a while after my mom got her Sebring and my sister her Stratus, the Escort wasn't being used. I remember opening the gas tank lid one time, only to find a small wasp nest being built in there. I wasted no time in getting rid of the thing. Admittedly, wasps do make me kinda nervous, but I remind myself to follow the general consensus of 'don't bother them and they won't bother me'.

I guess you could say that. While I bruise far too easily (and nastily, at that), I get scratched and scraped up all the time and never sweat it. I live with seven cats, so there's never going to be a time when I don't have some scratches on my skin. :teeth:
The best part is when you get those mysterious cuts where their origin has no recollection..

So I tried out Little Mac and he is pretty fun. I love the fear that the KO punch induces haha. I got a few surprise gimps by jumping offstage and landing his terrible aerials. Almost feels as good as a lightning kick honestly lol. I'm sure the opponents are like "wtf is this Mac doing chasing me offstage?" and my response would be this:

Mac seems fun to me

I am physically incapable of playing characters that aren't floaty with amazing recoveries though.

Funny, I'm the opposite. I just don't enjoy playing as Jigglypuff, going deep with Meta Knight makes me feel nervous that I will screw up and can't recover, and I don't really care for Kirby's fighting style. Pit has a fighting style that looks cool.

I just realized that most of the characters I play are fast fallers or don't really recover well: Ike, Ganondorf, Falco, Fox - Brawl and back -, Snake, Wolf, Mega Man, Link, Toon Link, Shulk, Dr. Mario, Little Mac, and Captain Falcon.

Luigi, Yoshi, Pit, Sheik, Samus, ZSS, Palutena, Meta Knight, Greninja, Peach, Zelda, and maybe some others either recover well or aren't really fast fallers.

Yeeeaaahhh...I dabbled in Ganondorf back in Melee, otherwise we have zero overlap on your first list. Played Luigi and Zelda in previous games, Greninja's our only overlap in 4.

I wish I could play Mega Man. Shorthop lemons are hard.

Wish I could play Meta Knight too, but I can't get used to how clunky he feels no matter how much time I spend in the lab with him.

Ganondorf and Zelda (oh no) are feeling increasingly tempting to try and learn.

I'm trying to use Palutena but her tilts are just too slow for me. Her jab is godlike. Her aerials are great (F-air has greater range than it looks). I can work with the reflector and counter. It's just auto reticule I don't really know how or when to use

Edit:
And speaking of tier lists, thebuzz (Come on, get the joke) made his tier list. Also, avoiding the name search cause I don't want to pull him in here for no legit reason so yeah

Wait.

Dabuz put Zelda in B

Macchiato put Zelda in B

B is the third tier in the above list

Third = 3

Have you raided the Rosas already?
Yeah I did. It was a one main raid and it was successful

Link wins for most underrated character in smash 4, waiting for a good one to come and wreck theses tier *****s..
Also lol @ Palutena, Lil Mac and Bowser Jr being worse than Zeldawful.

I haven't been here in a long time but lmao @ the Fuujeans account, was definitely not me.
I haven't read all of the post but maybe someone can fill me in.
I just got back from Apex yesterday, it was a MESS and very disappointing, but Ed and I went to NY drunk with a bunch of other people so that was fun.
I did a fun Money Match with Ed that I will upload but I have to make 10 post first.
Fujin sis your back, was apex fun? How was it? Did yew meet Nairo? Anyways I'm still the same thinking zelda is high tier but I'm currently debating on to main G&W or Zelda

Sometimes, you really need to think outside the box when you're trying to be creative with Shulk's arts. Like, instead of maximizing speed's time, maybe you should do something better. Like, switch to buster once you get in. I've always thought of using speed/jump at neutral, buster at advantage and shield at disadvantage

Also, there's still that unknown idea of using Monado Smash against Rosalina at the start of a match but idk again

*rambles*

Oh and Zelda at viable tier. Probably because of Nairo

So, late to the insect conversation but I'll just say that I really don't like flying bugs in general. I just really nervous with those things flying around and suddenly getting in my face (once there was one large cockroach that suddenly rammed my monitor while I didn't even know it was there, it really made me jump). I'm very much a wimp.

So hey, I guess maining a Pokémon who's weak to bugs is even more appropriate to me.

Since a naughty sis banned Fuujin (grrrrrr.....)........

Out of all the things you lose to, Fuujin, you die of the non-explosion part of the sideB grenade. Fuujin PLS.

If you used Zelda you would've recovered from that.

He seems like a nice guy , I don't understand why the bans ._.;
It's a long story. Well, not really but I'm not sure if I can summarize it that well but it all comes down to the fact that he's actually suppose to be "perma-banned"

Wait, did I miss the spider-apocalypse? Aww man..

My room is basically a graveyard for spiders. Even though I cleaned most of it away, you can still see some of those black marks from where those fat ones were creeping on me. Dayum, lol

So after my lamenting over these new Infinite " combos " being discovered the other day.... ,
Imma giving this Zelda Social fun Group one last try ><;

I'm too scared to play non roll glory people, I'm only like 50ish% w/l on roll glory lol
The aim of this possible group is to just have fun and most of us all share your fear ( myself included ).
This is half my problem

the other half is when I actually feel like playing I just want to press some buttons and start a match instead of pestering people if they want to play then sitting around waiting for replies etc
Some of us would LOVE to be pestered :D
He.ck , I'm generally sitting around just hoping someone asks me to play most the time and I'm sure I'm not the only one :p

You two shouldn't be so afraid :(
Me n @NAsh88 had some pretty dang fun games awhile back and it wasn't about " who = better " , it was about having fun with friends :]

@ Fernosaur Fernosaur : I believe there was a post awhile back where you said you liked items sometimes and if you play with us, we wouldn't mind just upping the Stock to 5-ish and having some fun with it :]

@Marie Antoinette , @Lozjam , @ Twili Twili , @ literally everyone here :
Your literally ALL WELCOME to join in and you can play whoever you want without fear of character hate on who you play.
We ALL spent quite alot on this game, we should get the most we can outta it right? ^^

@ Ffamran Ffamran : The time has come !

Your invited too <3

Sorry if I missed some names of the other eager players :u
Your invited as well ! :D

OH ALMOST FORGOT :
For anyone wanting to use :4palutena:'s Customs , we could definitely work that out.
Just make sure to have a Set without Equipment to be fair to the others since we'll prob be using Vanilla Sets
( or we could setup a full group of Custom Sets + no Equipment on for other characters too if the group is alright with it ^^; )

Welp, I don't get the meaning behind Fujin "Default" but #ohwell.

Gooooooooood Morning Zeldas ^ ^ I got me some coffee~

Watching Fuj v Scary was hype.

Though, every time I watch a Palutena in battle, it's like she just seems to be even more limited looking... Kinda sad tbh how bad most of her normals are outside of a bunch of oddball quirks like wind boxes or unique clank properties.

And a LOT of stretchy hit-boxes...

The other issue is I only have 3DS and most people would rather play Wii U. I know I'm not the only one here like that but just sayin

The other issue is I only have 3DS and most people would rather play with an actual controller. I know I'm not the only one here with that crippling issue but just sayin
only reason I didn't get smash on 3ds was "how do I play?" I'm sure you're what they call, "use to it"

Eh.

I bought the 3DS version expecting the worst, but the only complaints I have about it are no notches on the circle pad for exact cardinal directions/diagonals and no C-stick.

And I didn't really use the C-stick in Melee/Brawl so that wasn't a huge loss to me either.
