Haaa, making Macs counter the wrong way is the best.

Yeah, seriously. I get a decent amount of scrubs, but @ S.F.L.R_9 just finds the most special of breeds.

My first opponent is nearly always a good falcon that bodies me though, it's such an eerie coincidence ;_;

So... I just found something extremely useful for spacing by accident. It allows you to easily b-reverse your specials and even add some unique movement to your specials. Make a new control scheme with your c-stick set to special. you can do a fade away din's fire to fake an approach and also if you jump backwards and use the phantom it will sling you in the opposite direction covering you.

Fade away din's fire: Jump forward and hit the opposite direction on your c-stick. so jump ← c-stick →.
Fade away Phantom: Jump backwards without turning around and c-stick ↓
You can also perfect pivot phantoms with this set up. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Late but whatever.

Just a disclaimer, but you can technically do most if not all the techniques without the C-stick set to special. However, like you said, it makes it much easier to do & you'll always the maximum amount of momentum off of it, which you'll probably will never get consistently without "B-sticking".

Speaking of ZSS Dair, the second match I played today on roll glory was vs a zero suit samus who lost the match in about 15 seconds after SDing himself 2 times in a row with dair, still not sure whether or not it was on purpose because he did try to hit me...

I don't think GW is bottom. Recovery is amazing, great dash attack, super armor on u-smash, d-throw is not techable anymore and it sets up at almost every percent, fair autocancels super fast on landing too.

So I made a video of the C-stick set to specials thing. It's really fun to play around with and I think I will keep my controls set this way because of how much easier it is to B-reverse. Fade away Din's Fire is a great option imo. Pretty sure you could do this in Brawl also but I never tried it lol.
