I didn't get Octopath quite yet since Aces just came out but I realized that since the game is heavily inspired by the Bravely games, that it might take inspiration from its terrible pun names. (I'm just trying to start discussion okay) Metroid Prime 3 felt a bit easier than I wanted it to be, and it looks like that's the same most other people felt. However, raising the difficulty up to Hypermode was supposed to turn the game into Hell™ which sounds like the exact kind of fun I wanted!
I got through Norion just fine, and the start of Bryyo was okay... but once you get to Rundas the game starts getting a bit unfair. Yes I really enjoy losing over an entire energy tank from a single hit, especially near the start of the game when I only have like 4. Aside from Rundas who I did beat after a few tries, the bosses aren't the most threatening thing to me. It's the standard enemies. They go into Overdrive so often and they each take a minute or so to kill. Overdrive also gives them as much damage as a standard boss. That already is a bit much BUUUUT these are standard enemies, so there's going to be like 5 of them around at all times which makes things worse. You can sometimes just run past them but most of the time it's a better idea to fight them all even if it does take forever. Right now I'm trying to take out the western shield generator but ughhhh. After I get past this I think I'll be fine until the part where you have to defend the bomb in ELYSIA WITH PYRA AND MYTHRA AND NIA AN- I had to make the joke okay.

I'm done complaining now but I'm gonna go right back to playing the game and I'll probably enjoy it anyways so oops.

I haven't really noticed the drama as being intentional. It seems to be a mix up of people who don't realize gorls are:
1) lovingly calling Zelda a recycling bin
2) misunderstanding not everyone writes in complete sentences/has perfect English
3) some *****es just be srs and they learn their place quickly when you go "lmao but im not srs tho y ru srs???"

All in all it's like a gorl mixer where the less active/newer gorls are getting used to gorlhood.

And let's be honest, half of them are going to go inactive a few weeks after 5elda is available.

Speaking of XBX2, chapter 10 was a ****ing rollercoaster ride of emotions. I posted a top notch gif that every girl should like because it took me 8 minutes 8 years to make and even though it's bad it still has SecretKMeme so it's good.

1) Finally finishing the last battle of Xenoblade 2 because Nammy12 made me remember I didn't beat it yet.
2) Me: I'm not gonna cry because this ending is gonna be so anime-cheesy-predictable which usually makes me cringe and not cry anyway.

I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE LIKE THE SHULK-LOOKIN-MUDDA-FUGGEN-ARCHITECT BEING A "BAD" DUDE AND REALIZE THE GORL HE THREW TO THE GROUND WAS THE LOVE HE SACRIFICED. SO WHEN HE GETS DESTROYED BY THE TEAM HE FINALLY GETS REUNITD WITH HER.

OOPS. OOOOOPS. I WASN'T READY EVEN SINCE I WAS PREPARED FOR KLAUS TO GET HIS GORL BACK BUT NOPE OOOOOOOPS.

Also lol @ the game just randomly tying itself into XBC1 with literally just 1 line of random dialogue. So that means when The Architect split, essentially the Pyra/Mythra side stayed in Alrest and the Malos side (Zanza) created the Bionis in another dimension. With the 3rd AI (Ontos, named Alvis)) following after Zanza. So in the end, the truth self of The Architect saved Shulk's world since if Alvis was not there - it'd be a destroyed ****show.

But furthermore, that means Meyenth was the goddess of that dimension until Zanza's rude*** came in and tried to obliterate her creation(s). So Zanza really just wanted to toy with everything until he got bored, then destroy it all, then do it all over again. So The Architect was a sad and lonely boi who did his best to make up for his mistake(s) and did it two-fold by saving not just 1 world (his was already at war) but 2 worlds.

But furthermore, that means Meyenth was the goddess of that dimension until Zanza's rude*** came in and tried to obliterate her creation(s). So Zanza really just wanted to toy with everything until he got bored, then destroy it all, then do it all over again. So The Architect was a sad and lonely boi who did his best to make up for his mistake(s) and did it two-fold by saving not just 1 world (his was already at war) but 2 worlds.

XC2 barely affected me because I was still getting over DRV3 so maybe that's a good thing?? I'll go with yes.

XC2’s ending was a little predictable in the end in retrospect but when I beat it the final scene in (that place) had me choking up. Everyone bashed Rex’s VA but his lines really improved towards the end. Or maybe I just got used to his voice, lol

I've been binging on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain which like Ground Zeroes, surprisingly runs really well on my laptop. The only time where it gets hot is in the ACC, the helicopter screen, which I don't know why and I think from what I read, is a problem in general. Everywhere else, my laptop runs pretty cool for a game like this unlike Far Cry 3 or Saints Row 3 and it only dips frames, around the upper 30s, on Mother Base. I'm guessing that has to do with there being more things moving, the water, which isn't really present in Afghanistan or Africa.

The game feels like Peace Walker which makes a lot of sense because of the base development aspect of it and how the missions are structured where you select and go to certain places instead of linearly moving forward like in pre-MGS4 games. In terms of stealth, TPP and Ground Zeroes feel more like MGS2 and probably MGS1 rather than MGS3, MGS4, and Peace Walker. In former games and like most stealth games, you primarily rely on staying out of sight and obstructions like shadows, tall grass, and walls to sneak around in contrast to the latter games where you could hide in plain sight with camouflage. TPP features camouflage, but apparently it works on a binary system. That is to say, if you're wearing woodland which works on greenery and you're on some kind green vegetation, then you get a camouflage bonus, but if you're not, then you don't nor do you become more conspicuous like in MGS3, MGS4, and Peace Walker with the wrong camo.

So, for FEH stuff, my freebies were +Res, -HP 4* Odin from the A Sketchy Summer banner and +Def, -Atk 5* Ninian from the New Power banner. This is my third Ninian. What is going on?

So I've decided to try out Yu in BBTAG over Kanji.

While I do like Kanji, he just has so several issues that can easily be exploited; Yu on the otherhand feels right. Plus he's a Top Tier.

I got Maribelle in Heroes and she's fun to use. My only complaint is that training her up is slightly annoying because lol Martyr+, a skill that works better when the unit gets hit more, on a unit with a B skill that prevents the enemy from hitting the unit. That's going to be replaced by Restore+ most likely but it's a bit annoying atm.

Waiting patiently for Octopath Traveler to arrive today, so I can actually play it. And was hoping to find a physical release of Touhou Gensou Wanderer: Reloaded.

Since I wanted a dungeon crawler to fix that itch for a new Mystery Dungeon game; oh well, I'll probably have to purchase it digitally and the DLC as well; shouldn't be too bad I hope?

Also, honest opinion everyone. Do you think Smash Ultimate will be deja vu for Zelda all over again?
As in we think she's good now, but only to eventually find out she's still bad like she has been in every previous Smash title.

But I think she's still going to be incredibly fun to use.

Voldo is back for Soul Calibur VI. He is so damn creepy. I remember playing Soul Calibur II when I was young and I was genuinely afraid and creeped out by him. Voldo's movements are inhumanly fluid and he never speaks, but hisses and groans in a gross way. The best part about his movements is that apparently when he was designed, they were at first made up by the developers. Later, around Soul Calibur III, the developers noticed that one of their motion capture actors was flexible enough and capable of imitating Voldo's moves, so they motion capped him for Soul Calibur III and probably the later games. As for FEH stuff, I love Libra's chibi expression and I was super lucky to have gotten him as my freebie summon. He looks so uninterested and annoyed at everything. He's probably annoyed that he has 3 superbanes like regular M!Robin. Maribelle finally being in is great too along with Sumia. Falicorn knight Olivia is weird, but okay since it means there's a dancer with a personal weapon in the regular summoning pool. Before, you needed to summon PA Azura for Urdr buffs and she's seasonal. Also, freebie 4* +Res, -Def Ogma from Leo & Elise's BHB banner.

The Askr trio getting refines is good too with Alfonse winning out easily. Alfonse's Folkvangr's upgraded effect being Brazen Atk/Def is pretty dumb considering Ares is 4* summonable. Alfonse can have +14 Atk/Def when at <= 80% HP. That gives him 65 Atk and 46 Def alone. T-Adept 3 as its unique refine is interesting as it makes him a strong green counter. Well, axes and LotW Lyn since dragons and mages probably can still do significant damage to him. That said, with his default kit and being in Folkvangr's Brazen Atk/Def range, 64 total attack, Alfonse effectively has 89 attack against greens. He is 1 damage off from one-shotting default, neutral Valentine's Hector who has 50 HP and 40 defense. Alternatively, stacking defense or even resistance with a stat refine makes Alfonse even tougher. A defense refine with double Brazen Atk/Def gives him 65 Atk and 50 Def at <= 80% HP. If you somehow miraculously get him down to 38 HP for him to be in Brazen's range, he'd have 88 total and 69x2 physical bulk remaining. His resistance isn't that great, but giving him Brazen Def/Res with a resistance refine would bump him up to 46 Def and 33 Res when at <= 80% HP. The problem is getting there since he would have 26 Res before getting into that range. The one thing that hurts now is regular Tyrfing being vastly inferior to refined Folkvangr. Divine Tyrfing is a great sword, but it would have been nice for Seliph if regular Tyrfing was another, good option. Here's hoping it gets Brazen Atk/Def or Brazen Def/Res as its upgraded effect. Maybe even two of them at the same time for its unique refine. Imagine Seliph being able to stack three Brazen skills at once.

Anna's upgraded and unique refine effects for Noatun seem logical even if it's not super powerful or easy to use everywhere. The one thing it does is free up her B slot for whatever she wants and I remember seeing a comment about giving her Galeforce, L&D3 or maybe Fury 3, Desperation, and a Flashing Blade seal so that she can teleport everywhere and easily activate Galeforce. Sharena's refined Fensalir losing Threaten Atk 2 for negating field buffs is all right while Spd/Def Bond 3 for its unique effect makes sense with who Sharena is.

Most of the gorls relocated to the SmashUUUUU Social for Zelders. Some of the stubborn gorlos are still here tho.

As for who it was, it could've been me. I was playing at my friend's a while ago on their sweet connection. Old TV+direct connect Internet+hiiiiiiigh speed internet = . I bodied 3 seperate Pika players so perfectly and it made me happy, tho obviously lag was a factor because FG is FG. Why so many heauxes playing top tiers on FG now? Like, damn, the game is dead and nobody even cares about win rate % anymore (did they ever? lmao rip). Play whoever you want. Not a variety of top tiers. da fuq u doin heaxues reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

2 of those Pikas swapped to higher tier chars for 2 times before giving up. It was cute+sad. The other one was obviously just dealing with FG's infamous "lag unless the stars align+you have the perfect setup" thing.

Toss up. Depends on what build you want to give her. If she'll purely be a flying Brave Bow Heaux, then +atk ez. Other than that, a +spd/-res nature is so much more flexible.

I think -res is also the better bane since it lets her keep average-ish bulk instead of being a 1-physical-hit-ded character like Delthea. With Fury 3 the gorl would have a 37/35/41/20/28 spread by herself which is pretty damn good imo. Made more hilarious with flygorl buffs.

Honestly, very doubtful. Especially since at least 2 of them literally went down from Cloud to Bayo and so on. Like, legit looked at a Tier List and went down the list to see who could beat my Zelda or Peach. Though many of them start with mid/low tier characters, get trounced by Low Tier Kween Zelda, and feel the need to use the highest tier (often Cloud/Bayo) for the next match. Like, if they lost to a Zelda they have lost their honor until they can finalkly defeat her lmao.

If it's a friend-list match then I give them the benefit of the doubt because obv it isn't serious play...

Then again, so isn't FG.

So idk why these heauxes feel the need to be predictable/hope top tiers can carry their spam-happy gameplay.

i’m tempted to use the +atk one to give shigure flier guidance, but it sounds like a bad idea. i think i might build that one as a brave gorl and then have 2 different gkw!hinokas. i could always merge them too if i wanted


but puddin sis, you must have blessT me with your luck because although i was a bad gorl and whaled for the first time since going f2p at the new year i got these insane pulls. like just tons of random 5* for no reason and it reminded me of your crazy pulls from around the game’s release (i think it was hf1?) when you were +10ing takumi and hector. if for whatever reason you really want to know exactly which 5* units i pulled, i could go through my pictures and find out, but yeah, it was just crazy.

i finally got a shigure, and he even came with the perfect nature (+spd -res). i was prepared to use him regardless of ivs, but it was really nice get such good ones. getting og!shigure also means i can run matthew mercer emblem with him, pa!shigure, asama, and og!ryouma

I don't have Octopath yet, but not being about to save before the final boss sounds really weird. Maybe an update could fix that, although I don't imagine that the game will get many - if any - updates after their comment on DLC.

is it a bad idea to to give hinata warding breath? i don’t have any brave ikes for steady breath, otherwise i wouldn’t hesitate giving SB to hinata. the one i’m just planning on using is +def -spd. his res is pretty bad, so i’m not sure if warding breath would just be a waste on him. i guess it would help him tank dragons a little better?

So, Quiet became playable in MGSV: The Phantom Pain, but only on FOB, online missions. Apparently they did that with Ocelot a while back and I only found that out recently. In both cases, modders figured out how to make them playable on the PC version and I think with some of Quiet's abilities? which the official release for her has. Quiet can turn invisible, dash and leap far distances, and is an amazing sniper. The only downside to Quiet other than the stats she isn't good in like Ocelot which does affect things in FOB is that you can't use her other outfits which is incredibly stupid since she actually has them unlike Ocelot who only his default clothes which I guess they could head swap him onto other outfits like the Diamond Dog soldiers, but whatever. Sure, let's not be able to use her outfits which cost money to develop and freaking use, but are only cosmetic unlike D-Horse who has armor options, D-Dog who has outfits giving him the ability to stun, kill, mortal wound, or Fulton people, and D-Walker who also has armor options along with head options letting it hide itself when not in use, scan for enemies, or autonomously assist you in combat.

Anyway, the Yakuza series looks really dumb and I'd like to pick one of them up one day.

For FEH stuff, freebie +HP, -Def 4* Soren from the Distant Def banner. I wanted to chance a Rhajat. Oh well.
