In FEH related news, we're getting Spd Ploy fodder that's also available at 4* via GHB Saias. So thank goodness I used my Deedster for QR3 instead of Spd Ploy lmao.
Well rip that 1 Deedee that I foddered off to Mae I guess (that gorl was -Atk tho she deserved it).
But this is nice bc I also wanted to give Spd Ploy to Soren if I ever got one that wasn't +Def -Atk or Spd. At the same time, I kinda want to try using Soren on a Tactic spam team so he wouldn't really have any room for it so I'll hoard the fodder for when someone else needs it I suppose.
For my breaker on the spring banner, I got Nephenee +spd/-def... She's my 3rd one. I haven't used any of her skills because I have no idea who can use Wrath over any other skill. At best, she might just end up as +2 atk/spd fodder for my healer gorls. I am not really building any lance gorls except Hinoka and Shanna so her weapon isn't going anywhere. The only lance I need is the Berkut one for Gwendolyn to be truely OP.
I remember reading someone describing Wrath as a skill that lets units fight units they shouldn't be fighting normally because of the boosted special damage and stuff. In any case, Athena, Ayra, Fir, regular and Valentine's Hector, Karel, Lyn, Marisa, Mia, and Raven come to mind because of their Wo Dao weapons or in Ayra, Lyn, and Raven's cases, Regnal Astra, unique refined Sol Katti, and unique refined Basilikos's L&D3. By extension, any of the axe infantry and armor using Giant Spoon are also good candidates, but that's stupidly locked behind a seasonal unit, so it's not as feasible of an option compared to summoning an Athena and slapping her Wo Dao onto someone else if you don't want to use her. You're mainly stacking their Wo Dao effect weapon with Wrath for +20 damage when they trigger a special where Fir and Karel also have -1 special cooldown with their unique refined Nameless Blade and regular and Valentine's Hector have -1 special and Wrath 3 with Berserk Armads letting them run stronger, but higher cooldown specials more easily. That said, I remember reading a comment about how Mia has pretty high sustain with her Resolute Blade, Aether/Noontime, Distant Counter or Steady/Warding Breath, and Wrath.
Nephenee by default is good Wrath user, but because lance units don't have a Wo Dao lance yet, their damage output I think is a bit lower than axe and sword units running Wrath. I think it was because that Wo Dao + Moonbow is said to be stronger or just as strong as Slaying weapon + Luna. A weird example for lance unit is Fury, Wrath Lukas that I remember seeing a comment talk about. The obvious issue is that Lukas isn't going to drop down to Wrath's threshold easily through physical damage which is why he's running Fury.
I think Joshua might be a good Distant Counter, Wrath user because of his good mixed bulk with Audhulma (or a resistance refined Slaying Edge+). Something recent I saw was Roy with unique refined Binding Blade, Distant Counter, and Wrath. Alternatively, Vantage or whatever else could work since unique refined Binding Blade's gives him a lot of flexibility as an enemy phase unit.
Edit: Forgot about regular Lyn and her unique refined Sol Katti and Marisa who has Wo Dao as her default weapon. Desperation 3 and Brash Assault EX through Sol Katti and Wrath 3 lets Lyn do stupid things.
Why Berserk Armads is busted: https://serenesforest.net/forums/in...d-here-thread/&do=findComment&comment=5142246. Basically, Berserk Armads, Bonfire, Distant Counter, Wrath, and Quickened Pulse. All Hector needs to do is get hit once and drop down to <= 75% HP and he'll have a fully charged Bonfire for the rest of the battle. This is also why Vantage and Wrath shouldn't be made into seals. At least for Hector since he'd just destroy even more ****.
"Well, that's the thing. Wrath is mainly usedful for when you're baiting units you aren't supposed to, and it expands your options pretty significantly. When Nephenee came out there were all sorts of images of her abusing Wrath procs to kill all sorts of units she had no business killing, Hector included.
With both a Killer effect and Wrath on his weapon, Hector could run Moonbow or something with QR and retaliate with two Wrath-boosted Moonbows and easily kill all kinds of enemies who would otherwise be able to wall him. Or you could give him a long CD special and use Wrath's cooldown charging effect to charge up a big hit and OHKO an enemy with a huge chunk of unmitigateable damage who might otherwise be difficult to engage. You could even stack double Wrath with Ignis or something for 50+ damage special procs, before factoring in Hector's own attack.
Hector's old kit is still very much competitive with Berserk Armads, but this opens up a whole new spectrum."
Well rip that 1 Deedee that I foddered off to Mae I guess (that gorl was -Atk tho she deserved it).

Support partners include Hone Sanaki + Cymbeline and Fjorm (amounts to +10 total Atk). Azura really helps, but she also adds a total of +7 Spd (Hone + Drive). She doesn't tend to need the latter, since she usually doubles bulky enemies anyway and probably oneshots the faster, squishier ones.
Caught a bit of TeamSp00ky's stream on BBTAG last night, but didn't watch the rest as I went to sleep by then. But I'll be able to catch up with it via the VODs; that'll be something to look forward to.
Also, we finally got hear Gordeau and Yukiko's Intro.
Gordeau/Yukiko:
(Intro)
Gordeau: A pampered lady like YOU is gonna fight!? You jokin'?
Yukiko: Just watch me and SEE if I'm joking!
He thinks that because she can't Unga like him. :V
But there's some pretty nutty stuff so far. Also, Flux has the most time on the game for a build like this; he's got 25 Hours on this, so he has been LABBING hard; I'm legit surprised, but we also got to wait for the next build to come out. Since we can also get their Instakills; also, Arc Nama Stream will be revealing Yang's gameplay next week, so get ready for that!
Now onto some other stuff; gonna be trying to work on my script some more, and then try and create some images to use for my Uni video. Fingers crossed on that. And I'll try and finish up on the KC Cup in Duel Links with my Aromage deck (Through I think Amazoness will hard counter them now if I don't draw Rose Archer to stop their new Trap).
Probably because you lack Vitamin B, which can severely alter your decision making abilities. Luckily you can get Vitamin B through the Internet these days.
Of course the B stands for Boobs or Bara OOPS
Anyway you're really not missing out on the healer front. You only need 1 for the nuke shenanigans and the rest are just HM grind.
The best for nuke shenanigans (in order):
Shy-Sheep Gorl
Cinnamon-Twist Gorl
Loli-Woman Gorl
Pretty-Man Gorl
Haughty-Kween Gorl
The best for healing... All of the above with Recover+ lolvariety. tbh I really wish Physic was better, it'd be fun to work with for the infantry gorls. They should make a B skill or seal that's only available to infantry that buffs Physic for them, like, make it so they can use it at range 1-2 or make it so it uses 100% atk. IS pls gib me dis.
Anyway, overall:
Serra is the easiest healer of the 5 to build because she has Recover and is available at 3*.
Lucius is the easiest nuker of the 5 to build because he has Pain/Miracle and is available at 3*.
Elise is the best all arounder to build, coming with Gravity and Recover, but ofc 5* locked oopsie.
Genny is the best nuker to build bcuz dat attack, Gravity, and Wrathful Staff, but ofc 5* locked as well.
Lachesis is just easy to get but comes with nothing a good healer/nuker needs rip.

Genny is actually pretty bad as an offensive healer
Even if you stack as much atk as possible on her (+atk nature, atk+3 A-slot and SS), she only gets 7 wins vs default units lol. Compare that to Elise running the same set, who gets 46 wins vs default units. Genny is so slow that it makes her an awful offensive unit
Elise is by far the best offensive healer because she has a good 32/32 offensive spread and access to horse buffs.
And don’t forget about Maria and Bridal Lyn who are tied for the fastest healers (34 spd; I think Nanna also has the same spd?)
I love healers in general, so I want to train them all up. I just starting training up my +def -atk Asama and a random Lachesis pitybreaker that I got forever ago (I think she might actually be +atk?). I want Elise so badly. I really hope she’s on the incredibly likely HF banner at the end of the month

Gorl do not beleeb in the calculators. Beleeb in the BAN•HEALERS magic.
Pain+ (Wrathful)
Miracle (for safety)
Close Counter
Vantage
Savage Blow x2
Go in, chip 24 HP. Get hit once, kill that guy. Keep getting attacked but kill everyone before they kill you. For Arena purposes this can work too since res is usually low and 24hp is easily of a character's HP. If you atk stack galore it should be fairly easy to solo an entire team that's not using mages. The problem with that is you'd have to buff your healer to be bulky enough to withstand 1 hit (Genny and Serra) since their physical damage soak is around 50 usually. This build is especially useful for GHBs/BHBs that have clusters of cheese enemies with smashers/slayers/breakers. Serra essentially solo'd the Corrin/Azura one lmao (albeit with +4 buff to all stats and Summoner Support and a partner nearby, but it was still all her doing the heavy lifting).
Otherwise the best standard offensive healer is Elise, as in swoop in and kill 1 or 2, not solo the entire map by herself. The fast gorls aren't too bad either, but the problem is healers deal neutral damage and doubling means nothing vs average res enemies. Elise gets access to +6 to all buffs so she can make it work. Healers are most likely going to kill slow low res tank enemies, so they want more atk over spd at the end of the day. Especially in merge territory because +2 bulk for every +1 offenses rip.
Side note: since Elise gets +6 to all buffs she can run the set as good as Genny, but has to watch out for horseslayers is all. She may need extra HP from merges or Summoner Support tho. Both are fairly fragile.
IDK if I should be happy or not, dumped 100 orbs onto the Thracia banner yesterday sniping red and got a -spd +res Leif and got pitybroken by a +def -res Karel. The Leif IVs are a shame but I'm happy I actually got him, but even if my Karel had perfect IVs I would still hate him.
considering the average orbs per 5* character is about 75:1, you should be happy that you got 2 5* units, especially since the red pool is bloated enough to the point that that average is a bit higher than for the other colors
I like to show a friend my Charlotte and he keeps putting johns as if he were a Smash player (he is, but whatever). He happens to have a +6 Cordelia who runs Slaying + Galeforce. When he finally couldn't put any more johns, he asked me if the kind of **** I pulled is even "necessary".
Doesn't even end here. I'll S-support her and run a real setup.

Elise's defense is almost as bad as Luka's RES tbh, so horseslayer weapons don't really change anything about how you play her. If anything physical manages to get close enough to hit her, she's dead.
Course, given Elise's ability to chip near everything down to single digits if she doesn't kill them / they can counter-attack, all the other really good horses with their 3 MOV should really be able to make sure that never happens.
She's a really fun character, I'm glad I got her all the way back during the Prince vs Princess Gauntlet.
The Direct / Smash Switch announcement was March 8th, factor in talk about that taking over before steadily declining with the lack of any new information to go on, etc.
Is there something Smash related you'd like to talk about?
Serra essentially solo'd the Corrin/Azura one lmao (albeit with +4 buff to all stats and Summoner Support and a partner nearby, but it was still all her doing the heavy lifting).
Why you gotta make a gorl work so hard? You better have given her the greatest foot massage ever for that abuse.
For other FEH stuff, the event calendar showing all those upcoming banners makes me want to... not summon at all. I'm just going to wait until the golden week banner and the next legendary hero banner to see what's up. I got burned by spring 2018 banner and the Thracia 776 banner seems to be going nowhere even though I would like Green Olwen and maybe Meisterhardt for Meisterschwert shenanigans. I expect to be burned by those upcoming banners as well. I am well prepared for a summoning session to consist of five blue orbs with five -Atk, +HP 3* Clairs who can't give Spur Spd 3 as a 4* unlike any other units with a movement B skill e.g. Gerome who has full access to all his passives and his double rally because Clair things.
Anyway, apparently they added in-battle quotes for Soul Calibur VI which is neat. One of them is creepy: Mitsurugi asks Nightmare what happened to his right arm. For those who haven't played any of the Soul Calibur games, Nightmare's right arm was mutated into a three-fingered, giant talon thing as a result of being possessed by Soul Edge. For some of his costumes, that arm has an eye, multiple eyes, or mouths. And people want to possess Soul Edge as a weapon. A demonic knight with a disfigured right arm and a fleshy sword with a sentient eye totally are not any red flags to stay the hell away from Soul Edge.
Did they remove the greet button that used to be at the top of the first page of your friend list? Now that it shows your lead unit at the top, the button is gone and it's not in any of the other tabs. I assume that means it's gone now, which is lame. I always hit that button because it made it so my Caeda would visit my friends
edit: which team did you gorls get for the Conquest thing? I got Sharena, which is kinda lame since I like Alfonse and Anna better than her, but w/e

This is the build I'm going to go with.
This one is +spd/-res but I'll merge into a +atk because she needs every point she can get lol.
Aether is going to be the special for points.
I'd rather run slaying/ignis if I could since its a lot more consistent and basically what I did with bk and black luna.
Fae has an infantry pulse so with that and wrath, aether is always going to be 4 turn cooldown basically making it act the same as radiant aether.
Damage output seemed okay when I test ran it with luna in arena but she needs boosts in atk really bad.
To be fair Corrin and Azura made fun of her because they were jealous of her C L A S S I N E S S so she was just putting them in their place of her own free will. :^)

Nice tsuntsun gorl you got there. She should be able to run Ignis just fine with a Wo Dao since it's guaranteed to go off in any battle that she doesn't initiate, assuming QR is up. She's a unit who'd really benefit from Summoner Support for sure tho.

why the atk refine? her atk is going to be bad regardless and her damage will basically only come from special procs, so 2 extra points won't really add that much. imo any other refine would be better for your luna
really cool build tho. i'm jelly. it's too bad luna got shafted by getting the worst artist in the game

Did you try Wo Doa and Infantry Pulse with Aether? If you have a dragon gorl, just slap IP on ha.
And ye 720 is a nice spot. I still see Bow Lyn's but she's just a special charger, even to my Felicia loloops. I love Ally Supports and Spur Def/Res. I'm working on my A!Tiki atm so I probably won't see too many Lyns after a few more merges.
I also got fIYeR EmbLEm. . . hEErOes! as my team captain or w/e. I like the prizes we get for just auto battling. I got my Sanaki's tome refined thanks to 'em.
Team Anna, the team I wanted to be on, and she's getting her butt kicked by Alfonse and Sharena. The score right now is 4:21:5 for Alfonse, Sharena, and Anna. I saw some posts on the FEH subreddit saying that with how the areas are located, Sharena has an advantage against the others, Alfonse's in the middle, and Anna's disadvantage.
Yeah... I've seen comments saying 30 attack is low and I'm probably remembering this wrong, but I think I saw a comment saying 33 attack is low. All I'm going to say is that is stupid. In my book, >= 34 attack is high, <= 31 and >= 28 attack is average, and <= 25 attack is low. Now that I think about it, people were saying Gerome was bad compared to Cherche because he can't be +Atk and have 41 base attack like his mom. Yeah, let's ignore his totally acceptable and totally high 38 base attack. Gerome is basically a free, 5* Cherche if you didn't manage to summon one way back during the fliers gauntlet, don't have to feathers at the moment to promote a 4* Cherche, or didn't get at least a =Atk Cherche somehow which was kind of impossible when the developers handed out a free Cherche to everyone.
And then there's people crapping on Leif because he isn't broken. Sure, let's encourage the developers to make busted **** while also bursting into outrage when they do that. So annoying and it happens with almost every freaking game. Case in point: Smash. There you go, the daily Smash discussion.

Which bane have you considered for her? Some of the people I've seen vouch for -HP since you can just patch it up with a refined weapon and she gets to keep her good resistance which also lets her run ploys decently if you were running a Fury build, but this obviously comes at the cost of some physical bulk. -Res works if you mainly want her to deal with physical units, but it drops her down 4 resistance which would hurt when fighting dragons and if you needed someone to tank a magical hit every now and again.
To be fair Corrin and Azura made fun of her because they were jealous of her C L A S S I N E S S so she was just putting them in their place of her own free will. :^)
yeah, man...I always had a thing for doing gameplay videos. And I just love the idea of showing around some of my characters. That was my first FEH Reddit post, and I'm glad it got at least some views.
Doing a 2nd part with an even crazier build. It'll be up really soon.
how many units even have less than 25 atk? the only ones i can think of are asama, odin, and henry. i'm sure there's probably another healer or thief i'm missing, but i don't know their stat spreads as well as most of the units
were people saying he's bad or were they saying that he's outclassed? because i saw a lot of the latter, and i would inclined to agree since cherche is basically the same unit, except she has access to IVs and merges, while i think he has like +2 res compared to her or something like that
this has actually been making me angry. i saw someone who pulled a +spd leif and said they didn't even know if they'd use him. people are saying he's bad, but like, 38 neutral spd is crazy and that b skill is a free qp (that can stack with actual qp) with the added benefit of being great for tt. honestly, if golden week weren't right around the corner, i'd be pulling hard for leif because he has a really cool stat spread.

So FEH gorls, has anyone found a way to make the Askr Trio useful? I'm glad Fjorm is in the rotation with the Askr Trio for arena bonuses and she's easy to deck out. But the Askr Trio not so much. Tell me what you gorls did for the EZ Bonus Booster Trio.
I'm thinking very boring sets for Sharena and Alfonse like:
Prf Wep
Luna and moving to Aether
Dual Rallies/Repo
TA3
Lance/Sword breakersssss
Spurs or Buffs idk and idc
+atk seals for better 1hkos
For Anna:
Prf Wep
Iceberg
Dual Rally
Fury 3
Wrath (it's gotta go somewhere lmao)
Spd Ploy (gonna get 3 with Saias coming yay)
+3 res seal maybe since 31 res at T20 is just a smidge above average tbh
At T20 they're not even going to be putting in work, but still, having some sort of functionality would be nice since they are taking up a team slot. Anna can at least use ploys and have warp shenanigans. She's also a safe user of Wrath since she's not easy to double and has decent bulk somehow.
Done my rounds today, and had a tilty run in Duel Links for the KC Cup. I think I ran into a cheater during it who was using a modded APK, so I'm thinking of just stopping at DLv.18, no real point continuing on to try and reach the 2nd Stage of the KC Cup.
And that I'm kind of behind the meta right now. People running Mask Change, while I'm stuck here running Aromage. :V (Though the archetype is still good imo, but man RNG was not kind to me in KC Cup.)
Not that long now before the next Character Introduction Trailer, still hoping for Teddie and Kokonoe. But very doubtful about it due to the silhouettes; still gonna predict Yuzuriha, Hakumen and Mitsuru will be revealed, with gameplay of Yang Xiao Long. My other prediction would be Mai, Merkava/Hilda and Naoto Shirogane revealed.
that's insane. that reminds of when people ask things like, "is +def -res ayra usuable" or "is -atk fallen m!robin even worth using"
how many units even have less than 25 atk? the only ones i can think of are asama, odin, and henry. i'm sure there's probably another healer or thief i'm missing, but i don't know their stat spreads as well as most of the units
Felicia (23) and Ninian and Wrys (24). Felicia doesn't really care since she explodes people with Glacies and now has Felicia's Plate to target the lower defensive stat, Ninian's a dancer, so she's usually not fighting, and Wrys does care if you want stronger heals in general. With his default Slow+ (12 Mt), 50% of his attack is 17 if he's =Atk and 20 if he's +Atk (28 base). With Recover+, that's 27 HP =Atk and 30 HP +Atk either of which is about half health for most characters. Rehabilitate+ would be 7 minimum =Atk or 10 +Atk and that might not matter if he's with allies who drop down to low health frequently like Fury users or glass cannons.

It is the latter, but it does come off as people expecting and wanting Gerome and new units in general to be really powerful which is paradoxical to the complaints of powercreep. Something like "If this unit isn't broken, then this unit isn't good", which also reminds me about how people have been feeling about the legendary heroes compared to units like paladin Chrom, GM!Robin, and Zelgius or the complaints about how the recent GHB units are meh.
It's probably just me noticing and remember negative comments too much.

Leif is basically Ayra or +Spd Marth in stats. He trades Ayra's Regnal Astra and Marth's unique refined Falchion for Light Brand and S Drink which gives him great sustain as a Chain Challenge or TT unit. +Def Leif with Light Brand has stupid physical bulk. 40 HP and 36 Def (33 base + 3 from Light Brand) gives him 76 total or 56x2 physical and he can only be doubled by anyone with >= 43 speed. With Light Brand's effect, if you have <= 31 resistance, then he's getting +7 attack from it. Steady Breath would increase that range to <= 35 resistance and +4 defense and +1 special charge when he's attack. Or you could go for Fortress Def 3 for +5 defense and +4 attack against units with <= 36 resistance which at that point covers everyone unit's neutral resistance as Wrys is the only one with 36 neutral resistance.
He's not Ayra and he's not Meisterhardt, but he's not bad. The only thing bad about him is that he's another sword infantry or sword unit since they are so many of them, but that doesn't make him bad.
Y2Kay
, I just remembered this when I looked at my winter Lissa being equipped with Quick Riposte again and remembered that you have a +Spd, -Def? Zelgius. If you haven't decided on that GM!Robin or Thracia 776 thing yet and still want a good armor unit, I feel like you should definitely wait until they show who are on the next legendary banner and perhaps who are on the golden week banner. There is a chance that the next legendary hero is an armor unit since that's the only remaining movement type that doesn't have a legendary hero yet and there's also a chance Hardin and winter Lissa. Basically, there's a chance for you to get Bold Fighter. It's probably not going to happen with winter Lissa since we're still on the Halloween unit with the legendary hero banner if I remember correctly, but Hardin's possible at least as a golden week unit.
The Black Knight/Zelgius has Alondite and Black Luna, so with Bold Fighter and a Quick Riposte 3 seal, you'd give him amazing player and enemy phase capabilities. He'll always be able to double whoever he initiates combat with so long as he doesn't die since Bold Fighter 3's requirement is just not to die and Quick Riposte will let him double almost everyone who attacks him. Granted, the HP range is lower than with Vengeful Fighter, but on an armor team or with buffs, he can probably keep up in QR3's range. You could also give him Steady or Warding Breath to make him even stronger on enemy phase if you want to use a different special like Aether or want to guarantee that he will always activate Black Luna on the second counterattack against units slower than him.
So I decided to join the BBTAG Discord, since I've gone on about that game. But at least we'll be getting some new information about the game on Thursday.
I'm also pretty much done with the Kaiba Corp Cup; gonna stay at DLv.18 since I honestly feel like DLv.MAX will just be too hard right now, since there are some cheaters on the ladder right now; and it does tilt me that they're allowed to get away with this in the KC Cup (Since the report feature isn't available if you duel in that format).
By the way, I feel like I may need to check out the new season of WIXOSS (Yu-Gi-Oh! with a different coat of paint), since I thought the first season was alright; though sadly no new info on OPM S2, at least we got my Hero Academia S3, 2nd Cour of CCS: Clear Card.
...And I can't believe I'm saying this, but it seems that T&T arc of Ace Attorney anime may be better then the first anime. I checked, no sign of A-1 Pictures' name on the studio listing, but it'll be done by CLOVERWORKS who are also working on Darling In The FRANKXX REV 2. , helped Produce Persona 5: The Animation and also worked on Slow Start. And I may regret this, but I may check out SAO Alternative: Gun Gale Online.
It seems ok overall, but there some things I do wonder and/or question:
-How will each classes' skill tress be modeled? I personally hope they all get revamped to be modeled after EO4's Expertise based tree, which was already made with subclassing in mind, and makes primary classes matter more, which was already a goal by the devs and caused them to decide to use Force to begin with.
-Some of these class choices seem pretty lame tbh. Survivalist and Zodiac are the biggest offenders imo. Both of these are the least unique/most basic of their class archetypes throughout the series. A Surv's niche on other archers is just evasion and field skills, which is underwhelming when we have Ninja and Farmer. Zodiac is the most binary elementalist out there, although I do have some forgiveness as it is now the most archaic mage in the series due to the Untolds. Still, the other mages offer far more interesting utility between Alchemist's damage negation spells, Runemaster's weakness creation, and Warlock's enchants and more diverse physical spells.
-The overwhelming emphasis on ailments versus binds. War Magus, Nightseeker, and Harbinger all have skills that only come into play when an ailment is inflicted. The ability to inflict ailments or binds is more even, but we don't have classes that capitalize on binds the way we do on ailments. We really should've had Dark Hunter in as opposed to one of its present cousins, and *cough* Sniper instead of Survivalist to even the playing field.
-Support classes. Despite the multitude of damage and ailment-based classes, we have little stat (de)buffing?
I'm slightly salty about the lacking diversity in clerics, but a heal is a heal I suppose, and having 2 out of 4 ain't bad. A Troubadour, Princess, and Dancer do act quite differently though, and would've appreciated Troub or Dancer especially coming back.
-Lastly, how will EOV class tress be organized with subclasses replacing titles?
