Have the majority of the DLC maps cleared now, just the portals left on Zero's map

I made more of an effort to look at DLC damage output. They seem better than most of the cast, but slightly below bananas/Marth/Celica, and way worse than Lyn. Going by my old tier list, I'd probably throw both in S-.

Just to reinforce how busted Lyn is, Lyn's gold crits with a 240 atk Sol Katti are similar to Aqua's sporting her 720 atk Holy Spear.

Wow I've had FEW crash on me 3 times today. I think that's 8 or 9 times total now, idk. One of the crashes wasn't even from using a special; I just used Sakura's C5 and the game decided "that's illegal people can't do that" and then shut off.

Even more reason to use Aqua.

I'm too upset at the game rn to think of a good roast so uh...
Oboro's supports in this game are about how she cares about fashion and it shows how happy and positive she is.
Azura's supports are about how she's a pathetic socially-awkward introvert.
Oboro also has more supports than Azura so she's better, the devs said so.
So yeah, go fix that trash taste while I yell at Koei to fix this trash game

Afternoon all. How's everyone doing today?

Actually got my 2nd Ghostrick Witch from Bonz, so I'm just grinding for one more then I'm done with farming Bonz; which means I'll just focus on leveling him up so I can get Yuki-Onna and Yeti. Ghostrick seems like it'll be such a fun deck to run.

Also, I feel like Azura is really damn good in FEW; her C4 just demolishes the meter (Though that's probably because I leveled her up to 45 and she has her Spear and I was doing Lv. 20 stages for get Lyn but still), she feels really good.

So the name for the mascot at Halloween in AC:NL is called Jack, which is somewhat obvious but still clever in a way. Meanwhile, the Christmas mascot is called.... Jingle. Well.
Anyway, I'm on holidays now. Which is fun. For the first time playing through it, I finally learned that rapid spinning move in Wind Waker. I already forgot what it's called. It's funny to watch Link spin around screaming.

Random thought: Maybe Dedede's been nerfed twice because he's the real joke character of Smash 4, but Sakurai says he's already perfect to teach children they are also perfect just the way they are.

Though I'm not sure if that really sends the right message when the character who tries to be someone else is better than him.

It does the same amount as every other C4; all combo attacks do the same damage to stun gauges across characters, independent of how much actual damage you're doing, with later combos doing more damage to it of course. I don't know the exact numbers for everything, but I know on a full size gauge (white stun, named officer) a C5+C5 or C3+C6 empties it perfectly for everyone.

I think Ryouma and sometimes Pegasus Riders are the only characters I found C4 useful for breaking gauges with, the former because I find C4>C6 easier than C3>C6 with astra, and the latter because they have the only stun that also damages the gauge+it's easy to combo off of (you can kinda just press whatever with pegasi though, they're so good and easy)

Good news on the Duel Links side; I finally got 3 copies of Ghostrick Witch, so I'm done with farming Bonz.
So for now, gonna focus on leveling him up so I can get all the remaining Ghostrick cards being the following:

Spoiler: Ghostrick Cards via Level Up

Ghostrick Yeti:
ATK 300/DEF 2000
It can protect any Ghostrick Monster you target for 1 turn from being destroyed in battle or by card effects.

It makes for a solid wall and the protection is always nice.

Ghostrick Yuki-Onna:
ATK 1000/DEF 800
If it's destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, you can change the position of an opponent's monster to Face-down Defense Position. They cannot change its battle position.

Yuki-Onna is pretty much a monster card version of Floodgate Trap Hole, but it seems like it'll be damn fantastic at it too; you pretty much end up having 4 Floodgates if you use this in your deck.

Ghostrick Break:
Trap
When 1 Face-up Ghostrick Monster is destroyed via battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard, you can select 2 Ghostrick Monsters (Each one must be different from the destroyed target) and return to the field in face-down Defense Position.

It seems. Decent, however the issue is that if we're running Ghostrick, we will have to be relying on Ghostrick Skeleton for milling, the other issue is that this can clog up your graveyard if they do destroy it.

Ghostrick Scare:
Trap
Target as many face-down Defense Monsters you have on the field. Flip them into face-up Defense position and count how many are Ghostrick Monsters; change the position of your opponents monsters to face-down Defense position based on the number of Ghostricks you have on the field.

Does seem like it can be useful for getting some effects off quickly and stalling out your opponent for a turn.

Ghostrick does seem like its biggest enemies are Ninjas, Phoenix and Lava Golem; however I do think that if we do get more Ghostrick support in the future for Duel Links, they'll become more and more viable.

Also, I didn't realise until yesterday that Net-juu no Susume finished airing; I thought it was going to last 13 episodes, but they decided to end it at 10 episodes. Which is a shame, I wanted to see more of it, oh well.

Apparently FEW doesn't tell you if characters you deploy in green slots die

because I was scrolling through characters to change someone's weapon and saw this, and never got a message for it/never once put her in a playable slot since I started again

Found two 5* Hero Spears...not that they're overly useful when I already upgraded the spear characters' unique weapons, but I guess Caeda gets a new toy. No others yet; mainly I'm hoping for a sword for Lyn Lianna and Lucina to share.

Does anyone remember that PlatinumGames was developing a Granblue game? Well, apparently some gameplay footage was livestreamed recently: http://www.siliconera.com/2017/12/2...sy-project-re-link-shows-off-platinum-action/.

I don't know much about Granblue other than it has good artwork and that I think it's another gatcha game. Anyway, the footage for Granblue Project Re: Link makes me think of Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Dogma, and kind of Final Fantasy XV which itself drew from Kingdom Hearts in its initial concepts from what I remember of the developers talking about it when it was Versus XIII. Also, I swore I heard Miyuki Sawashiro from the in-game audio because the character being played sounded sort of like Cammy in Street Fighter V. Sure enough, she's the voice actress of Katalina, the character that was being played in the livestream. It's what happens when you watch too much SFV and end up remembering what Cammy's Japanese grunts sound like. The game looks interesting, so I hope it gets an overseas release.

Speaking of Kingdom Hearts, apparently some things about KH III were leaked. I'm going to leave it at that and not discuss it any further. Moving on, I got around to watching the first few episodes of Konahana Kitan and everything feels so fluffy. As an added bonus, the anime apparently delves into bits about Japanese mythology, so that's cool too.

Got quite a bunch of gifts I wasn't expecting and some obvious ones that I asked for. But I did get a lot of nice stuff, such as Seasons 1 and 2 of Chuunibyou; a Bayonetta Amiibo, a Zelda glass and so on.

Also, when the Festive Holidays are over; I can easily tell that the start of the next month is gonna be a good one for me anime wise.

Is it the type of tv you'd be able to bring to college with you / fit in your dorm room? Depending on it's resolution you could use it as a second monitor, which can always be cool if your desk can be set up for it.

I got some earphones I hadn't heard of (Beyerdynamic iDX160 iE). They were unexpectedly pricy when I looked them up, but after trying them out...they definitely aren't for me. They're pretty quiet running off my phone even at max volume, and they feel worse than the $30 ones I bought previously in pretty much all aspects - at the least, I feel even better about that purchase.

I also got an air fryer, which wasn't a thing I'd heard of either but seems to be like a portable convection oven, so that seems pretty cool

Good bagels need to be boiled first, actually, so preparing them for the oven is a lot more involved than most people think.

It’s a big 43” tv, too big for the only place it can go at my dorm. In fact it barely fits in my room at home, heh. And way to big to use as a computer monitor (besides I only have a crappy laptop for a computer)
