I always like when they do these developer maps. It’s cool to see what people who made the game like to use. And they give us something to do and a challenge. That said, they all must be super whales or get special privileges cause there’s a **** ton of Infantry and Shield Pulse builds. Like, they’re really cool and creative, especially the miracle Pulse map, but I’m jealous. I really wanna use them.

Anyways, the orbs got me 2 Chroms, an Odin, and a Seliph. Thanks to the Chroms I can finally make Furry Chrom with Aether. Odin’s whatever. Seliph would be great but it’s ANOTHER -Def Seliph. Every Seliph I get is -Def and I hate it. He’s +Atk, but I want +Def for a defiant def build. At least neutral defense would make me happy

Dat Odin thooooo. Also I'm the same when it comes to Desperation. I feel like it's a skill to have just to have at this point. Instead of Vantage or Quick Riposte which tend to be more useful. Anyway, Odin is a good husbando for sure. -RES or -HP are his better banes because of how people use Magic Gorls in this game. It's basically 1HKO Blade Nuke or nothing. Although for gimmicky Mage Gorls like Henry/Sophia/Robin who rely mainly on Quick Riposte they probably won't damage him enough because his HP is pretty bulky and 23 RES isn't great, but it's not garbage tier. imo build up that husbando to 4* at least and if another one comes along you can just merge.

For my Summons I had enough for 6 orbs and threw them at the Performance Banner. I currently have 4 different Dancers and getting a 5th one would just be lovely. I really want Shigure because Matt Mercer Husbando Squad, though I'd settle for any of the other ones. So far I have gotten 4 different Inigos which is A-OK because +3 Inigo fixes his HP bane and boosts most of his other stats. He also has Summoner Support atm so that's good. Anyway, I the summons were:

♞ 2x 3* Gunters gtfo out of here idc if DC Douglas is your voice actor I don't want any cavalry units here but I do want DC Douglas to voice more characters kthnx. Still waiting for a +SPD/-RES Barst-kun pls. Or a +RES/-SPD Sheena.

Are they the teams they actually use tho? I thought they were gimmicky teams put together by them for funsie, considering the stat fluctuations between them all. The Miracle Pulse Map was pretty cool but not feasible at all, not for just fodder reasons, but because the best we could do is start with 4/5 charged Miracle. Brave Roy might be able to pull off something like that, but its considered that Galeforce is his better option to use because he is a fast boy and a precious boy who needs to stay safe so moving is safer than taking a hit.

Day 1 thoughts on Warriors:

• Pair up is really fun and really broken and I love it.
• Robin plays a LOT better than he looked, I can see how Lavani was debating over putting him above or below Leolise now.
• I should probably use my Master Seals on someone but I'm stockpiling them because I'm worried I'll promote the wrong person or something even though that's impossible to do anyways.
• Yay the taunt button is back.
• The maps themselves feel pretty bland, but some of the later ones looked interesting.
• I think I'll enjoy History Mode more than Adventure Mode since I don't have to deal with the item card junk.
• Favorite character so far is Robin which I wasn't expecting. Second favorite is Leolise and third favorite is the archers. Least favorite is probably Lissa, I hope her later combos redeem her. :/
• I didn't know that you could change the commentator's voice! Chrom is a great commentator tbh.
• Chrom is not a great commentator on the main menu since Nintendo thought it would be better to use their GO TAKE A BREAK messages but voiced out instead. I bought this game to play it, not to have Matt Mercer tell me how far away from my TV I should stand, how well lit the room should be, if I should take a break, and that it's 1 AM and I should stop playing video games. Sounds like we had similar early game experiences, lol.

Master Seal stat boosts are pretty big, Story doesn't give you very many but I'd make a point of using two at least. In terms of unlocking C6, Robin, Chrom/Lucina, Rowan/Lianna, pegasus riders, and Lyn probably want that the most.

Lissa is C5: The Character. Make of that what you will. As an aside, all combos are unlocked during Awakening, so you can demo stuff before dropping a Master Seal or other upgrade mats that way.

Rowan is better, but Lianna is cuter.

tbh Matt Mercer can tell me anything and I'd be 100% OK with it. He could even say "Zelda shouldn't ever be banned" and I wouldn't even bother telling him why he's wrong. I already have a 5* +Spd, -Res Odin built up along with 5* +Atk, -Res M!Robin as Black Knight counters when Moment of Fate was up. Fury, Renewal Odin is pretty bulky; M!Robin is running a typical T-Adept, -raven build, but because I only have one regular Roy, he only has T-Adept 2. Oh well.

Random stuffs:

• Playtime apparently caps at 99:59. They...do know how much of a timesink Warriors games are, right?
• Supports seem to cap at 560 points. I'm not sure how many points you get for doing things or if that's what's actually necessary to reach A, so that's not very useful information, but nonetheless!
• Even the lv80 maps are free as heck now with optimal characters and weapons. If I go back to record things for any reason, I'll probably have to remove skills and use worse weapons. Hopefully DLC adds harder maps.
• I've been forcing myself to use characters I'd normally neglected while grinding weapon skills and supports. Marth/Celica C1 really is an amazing move with pair up, but so much of the rest of their moveset bothers me (C4 doesn't stun until hit 4 and the first hits launch, so officers tech out before stun; C5 has less range than normals on the first hit; C6 doesn't actually work against stun gauges unless you launch first). Marx is actually super fun and I have no idea why I'd been ignoring him, though his C4 has identical issues to Marth/Celica. Chromcina are also kinda cool, though C4 and C6 are their only moves I like, and they're pretty similar. Corrin is not as horrible as I originally thought, but her clearing is still garbage. Leolise have amusingly gone from my favorite characters at the start of the game to one of my least favorite now; as cool as their C1 is, they feel reliant on having crowds to do things, I don't like anything else in their kit, and even with a perfect weapon on Elise, 1v1ing Marth in a captured keep was a slow and horrible experience. Kinda-sorta similar thoughts on Camilla; I think at endgame, Hinoka is a better character, but wyvern dash C1 still has way more AoE than pegasus dash C1, and iirc she gives better stat bonuses from Pair Up than they do (Str/Mag vs Res/Speed? I haven't looked in a long time), so there's still good reasons to use her.
• The 5000 KO skill that boosts damage for full HP gives an identical boost to the pair up one. I'm not going to bother checking the critical HP one, since you need to do something like mash into a Falchion as Tiki to use that in the first place.
• The 2000 KO awakening recovery skill restores something like 20~25% per 300 kills. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Might try the musou one instead and see if that works better for Tiki.
• While white crits seem mostly equal, yellow crits are not. The initial multihit on Lyn's yellow critical does WAY more damage than anyone else's (actually more than other characters' full yellow crits on their own), and also have absurd meter gain. I feel like mages and archers have below average yellow crits, but I'm not 100% on that yet.

There's a lot to explain here, so I think it'd be easier to answer questions rather than explain everything, since a lot of things changed. But as a quick explanation: Ryouma being the only character with easy Astra access, on top of just being a great character in general, puts him at the top. Frederick can actually kill stuff with beyblade in lower level stages, and enemy defenses in general are much lower; this also makes Luna from Chrom less relevant, but it's still a power boost other characters won't have right off the bat. A lot of other drops are related to skill/weapon access.

Tried out ranked in sf5 for the first time and every other match in bronze went like:
match start, dp their jump in, block their wakeup dp, do a crush trigger combo and repeat.

Plus no one at that level knows any real block strings so I can just ex dp my way out of everything.

There's a lot of stuff I can go into on what precisely I do, but the long and short of it is I shoot things with lasers and see what happens.

Outside of that, I'm pretty much open to anything. It's so far into the future it's not really something I care much about.

16 today. Hooray for being able to legally work.
Anyway, saw Battle Of Gods. To be straight, for it's animation, the personalities of Beerus and Whis, the good comedy and the fact that every character you could think of was in the movie, I'd give it a 8/10. I knock the 2 points for the completely unnecessary Pilaf, Shu and Mai segement. They would have been better off being in the movie but not for the same length of time. Putting that aside, I absolutely adored every other thing in the movie. Vegeta's rage over Bulma being slapped and Whis trying out all the foods while the battle of Goku vs Beerus is going on are probably my favourite parts of it.
Also Animal Crossing gives you an actual birthday party and a cake. Much more than what Tomodachi Life and Pokemon X do. That's cool.

Morning all. How's everyone doing today?

Managed to play some TF2 last night which was really fun and it felt good to actually be back into playing it. I've managed to unlock almost all of the new weapons, just missing The Hot Hand. So it'll be a while before I can get that (I need to clear all the bonus missions in the other contracts to unlock The Hot Hand Contract. Some of them include getting 4 Reflect kills as Pyro, Blast Enemies 15 times and Extinguish 30 allies with the Thermal Thruster).

But man, the Dragon's Fury feels really good. You can 3 Shot another Pyro with it if you can aim, the Gas Passer seems decent, but honestly it's probably the worst of the bunch, but the fact that you can deny entry with it in chokepoints seem pretty strong, but the fact that it takes almost a minute just to charge the Gas Passer is stupid. Not even Health Cabinets refill it to max. Thermal Thruster I need to get use to, but damn it's fun to use.

I do hope to eventually get Xenoblade Chronicles 2, it looks REALLY awesome and fun when it comes out. I do wonder if it'll get a Japanese Voice Pack or an update that adds it.

I do hope to eventually get Xenoblade Chronicles 2, it looks REALLY awesome and fun when it comes out. I do wonder if it'll get a Japanese Voice Pack or an update that adds it.

I believe the trailers said no Japanese option would be available but they also said that for FE Warriors and BotW and look what happened.

That said, even if they do release a Japanese voice pack for Xenoblade 2, i'd still be playing it in English. The English dub is decent, outside of a few of Rex's battle lines, but the English dub at least has variety in it, as opposed to the Japanese dub, which actually sounds generic and this is coming from someone who regularly watches anime subbed 9 times out of 10.

If you want stage-specific help, you'll have to be more specific, because the only archer-only map I remember was the one at the south side of Lyn's map (even with Takumi as my most leveled character, that felt like the hardest map in the game), the game removes character restrictions when you S rank, and the japanese wikis didn't mark anything around Iago as archer-only. Here's my full map, if it helps to point it out.

General archer advice would be to spam C5 liberally. If it's a solo mission where you can't use pair up, C5 also safely buys you time for a half-charge C1 to stun, so you can mow down officers that way. Musou whenever you need to deal with multiple officers; Takumi has the highest Skill in the game, so his musous in particular will put in work. If dragons are that much of an issue, it might be worth considering slapping Dragonslayer on a bow, even if you need to take an attack drop for it.

My Anna's still lv17, so I could actually go back and play that without a horribly overleveled character.

The left down of Iagho, the Dragon map. It's the only thing between me and iago thats missing, and then I could directly go to the end-boss mission. Apparently you unlock bow dragonslayer from the Takumi stage in the Fates map. If you haven't started on that map yet, it's probably a bit of a detour. The lv21 "Defeat a bunch of enemies in 7 minutes" stage in the Shadow Dragon map is a good place to go for bow drops.

I'll give that map a replay, then. If there's one specific guy dying on you, instead of using Pair Up you could just have Sakura follow them, and she'll automatically heal them whenever they dip to critical HP.

Is the 3DS version just about the same as The Switch version? I know graphics will be lower and the sound will be a tier down, but that's fine. I was planning on buying the 3DS version but I was wondering if the 3DS can actually handle the game comfortably enough to play. Like:
1) Does it spawn less enemies overall? Bcuz KOs r veri important u no.
2) Does it ever skip frames/freeze every so often? If my comboz get ruined I will screech or probably die tbh.
3) Do the controls feel as comfortable as The Switch? Like how Wii U version felt better than 3DS for Hyrule Warriors.

Hyrule Warriors on the 3DS was kind of fine but I noticed it had some issues occasionally. It also didn't feel as comfortable, probably because I have the normal size version of the New 3DS complete with the cute green checkered bottom plate from the Animal Crossing Bundle. Also I have normal sized hands, not yaoi bara hands. So basically hands comparable to any of the other gorls except probably Mama BJN because ha hands have to be x2 the size of normal gorl hands so ha backhand can be strong enough to ban heauxes.

16 today. Hooray for being able to legally work.
Anyway, saw Battle Of Gods. To be straight, for it's animation, the personalities of Beerus and Whis, the good comedy and the fact that every character you could think of was in the movie, I'd give it a 8/10. I knock the 2 points for the completely unnecessary Pilaf, Shu and Mai segement. They would have been better off being in the movie but not for the same length of time. Putting that aside, I absolutely adored every other thing in the movie. Vegeta's rage over Bulma being slapped and Whis trying out all the foods while the battle of Goku vs Beerus is going on are probably my favourite parts of it.
Also Animal Crossing gives you an actual birthday party and a cake. Much more than what Tomodachi Life and Pokemon X do. That's cool.

You could also legally get married in New Jersey if you ever planned on ruining your life at 16 instead of 18 like normal Americans.

And ye Animal Crossing is super cute when it comes to Bdays. It'd be cooler if they let you pick an item that you normally couldn't get or a limited item that you couldn't get, though. LordTakeo I tried to record the map in question, but the quality turned out horribly, so I don't think I'll be putting it on youtube. I'll drop it on a filehost instead, since it should still be useful, but uh...sorry for the sound quality and framedrops, I dunno what happened. I don't think telling Sakura to heal anyone is really necessary; the guy in the bottom left is good at getting beat up, but there's plenty of leeway to waste time doing things without him dying. I do think it's better to have the other archer separate though, because getting 2000 KOs is a chore if you use pair up.

Oh so there are slight problems but not 3DS HW problems, got it. That's OK I suppose. I didn't really care about getting a Switch yet because there's only 3 games I'd buy on it so far. Apparently a Sm4sh port isn't even mentioned on the release date calendar that goes up to very-early 2018. I guess they know the only thing keeping Wii U alive at this point is Sm4sh and nostalgia (playing Wii/GC games). Unless they're planning on a totally new release of Smash Bros, which would still basically be a port with slightly better graphics and maybe new characters.

The only thing Gengi Mains have good judgement about is what style/clothing makes their butts look 11/10 at all times. Which imo is probably more useful to have than 10/10 judgement. Then again, Y2Kay has enough decent judgement to not main Zelda main a smol froggo boy that's not lame tier, so ha judgement is at least 5/10.

Boey is able to tank and kill every form of brave lyn and reinhardt including +10 optimal builds with horse buffs by himself. Plus he'll have ignis charged up after a fight to nuke someone else. Outside of that he's unable to really do much.
Reciprocal aid is if the other person is a **** and puts both on their team and boey has to deal with both of them.

I might replace Ike with BK once I promote and merge him if he provides a higher score.
C-skills still need a bit more testing to find whats best for the team comp.
Did a couple test runs and its able to score about 700+ a match which should be enough to stay in tier 20.

There's a lot of crazy builds in the 700 score range though.

I stopped playing early because now I'm in constant anxiety over accidentally using a special and crashing the game again, but specials are really good in this game and without using them I end up having the allied base/some important team member fall because I'm wasting too much time using Awakening spam or something when I could've just used some specials and I would've cleared the stage but the game might've crashed if I did so, so...

• Marth is so amazingly fun to play, I love it. Can't wait to get Celica as well
• Ryoma can u stop being an introvert and get along with your teammates faster, I need Astra on everyone ASAP tyty (it HAS to take him longer to build supports compared to any other character, heck Chrom and Robin got to A+ before I played Robin a single time. I also noticed that Astra costs a bit more to make compared to other skills so KT knows that it's a broken skill). But yeah, idk who to give Astra to first but I'm leaning towards Freddy.
• Tiki... I need her later combos. Still not feeling it, building her special takes years and she can't do a whole lot outside of Awakening
• Sakura is the new best commentator as she doesn't angrily scream to me that some nobodies are dying even though they weren't contributing anything of value to helping our team win the fight in the first place. Also on the main menu during the night she just goes "oh hi, how was your day? ^^" instead of everyone else's condescending "wtf are you still doing up, stop playing video games already and go to bed :<" Robin was the one I used before and I might switch back to him every now and then.
• Random thing, but when Ryoma gets MVP for the game, his quote sounds really egotistical. It just sticks out so much since I don't remember him gloating about himself EVER in Fates. If it was Takumi who said it then it would fit right in, but with Ryoma it just sounds wrong, idk
• Speaking of Takumi, he's still ded and he's going to stay ded until I care enough to revive him.
• Forgot to say this on the day 1 thoughts but Oboro's voice is just as great as usual, I hope she's a commentator you can use (maybe in the DLC) because ha sass is an 8/10 at least. Except when you attack her and she makes screams that give me PTSD of Smash Bayo's screams, then she drops to like a 3 or 4 in sass. Owain's voice is also wonderful.
• Still haven't promoted anyone yet and I have a ton of seals. I think I'll use them on Marth (or Celica if I get her first), Rowan, Hinoka, Lissa or Freddy, Robin or Elise, and Sakura first. Tiki is also high up there.

Also I'm a bit surprised that the S rank requirements on the 3DS version are the same as the Switch version's. Now I'm wondering if something else was adjusted so that getting S ranks in the 3DS version isn't flat-out more difficult than in the Switch version.

I'm already in Performance mode, this glitch just happens randomly when using specials on the Switch version. It doesn't seem to matter if the Switch is docked/undocked, in Quality/Performance mode or anything.
I even read 1 person saying it happened in the 3DS version but that seemed more like a 1-off deal, but the Switch version really needs a patch.

I meant that it costs more gold, the materials needed are the same. Although you get so much money in this game that whatever the cost increase was, it barely matters.
