Yes! It looks like they took some of Other M's gameplay, the melee aspect of it and combined it with regular ol' 2D Metroid. 2 Metroid games in development. Holy Metroid.

And I love the song used in Super Mario Odyssey. It reminds me of a Broadway musical which is funny since Super Mario Bros. 3 and the Paper Mario games have a play and theater theme. Gameplay-wise, I'm reminded of Banjo-Kazooie. Mostly because of the transformations.

Still, I feel like I really like Nintendo's approach more than Sony's. Sony showed us some trailers of what will probably be good games...two years in a row. Nintendo dedicated it's time mostly towards games coming out within the next 6 months.

Was going to comment on that. It makes even more sense why Nintendo had the fan remake of it taken down since a remake of it was in development. It's being made by MercurySteam, the developers responsible for the Castlevania: Lord of Shadows games of which apparently the sequel had some controversy regarding work ethics or something...

Prime 4 not being made by Retro Studios is even more surprising. Now I'm really curious as to what Retro Studios' secret project really is.

It's depressingly hilarious how all of Capcom's recent fighting games have really bad looking character models. Some not so much like Juri looks awesome. Monster Hunter World looks amazing, Dead Rising 4 and Resident Evil 7 looked amazing, basically, any game that isn't a fighting game from Capcom's recent work looks amazing.

Dude, it's Fire Emblem. Have you seen what the horses in Fire Emblem can do? Stopping from a charge to be parallel with your enemy? Pirouettes to avoid enemy attacks? At this rate, they just need horses that can carry 3 people who can all attack at once.

More sword units... Really? I can sort of understand Athena, but come on. Well, whatever. Oh, and another red mage I will never summon. Game, please do not be a freaking jerk and give me at least not -Atk Henry, Lilina, or Tharja or if you're being generous, not -Atk Celica, Sanaki, or new mage Katarina if I desperately summon from this banner.

Not really feeling this one since I only want Katarina for obvious, red mage reasons. Part of me feels like she and Luke will be 4* summonable after their banner since Athena and Roderick have weapons or have similar weapons that are 5*-only. For one, it'd be weird for Rauorowl to be locked behind a 5* summon compared to Blar- and Gronnowl.

Also, if the guy who showed up at the end is any indication, the next GHB unit might be an axe unit. Yay, more greens... I wanted Aversa or Lyon because, y'know, having different red mages would be nice.

Oh yay! Eliwood will finally have a bug-eyed waifu to pine over (Athena). Her voice is good tho omg. She'll be gorl Greggor. Or FE Zarya if thou must.

I really like new Mage Gorl Kat, but she's a red unit so summoning her would be stupid hard until she gets bumped down to 4 Star (even then it'd be hard). Another Sparrow Fodder that would be available at 4 Stars all year around is a good thing, though. Gorlo needs to do something with that hair tho, it's straight up the most powerful form of defense she has - since it repels all elegance and sass. Maybe she'll be Red Bunny Lucina with a better default weapon?

Roderick is a pretty boi 'n' hot boi with a sweet kit. So he's an A tier husbando for sure. People can also make dirty jokes with his name if they are nastee heauxes, so that makes him an S Tier husbando for some heauxes out there.

Luke is a B tier compared to Roderick's A tier game. But I guess he's OK. Good voice, probably awful voicelines. Sword user so ultimately a useless addition to a team since most (if not all) players have viable/better sword users by now. The only Lues we need in this game are Lucius and Lucas and maybe Lucindarina. Get out Luke!!! MAD FAEC

GOT SPOON HARLOT, AND TODAY'S THE LAST DAY OF THE BANNER. THE GAME LIKES ME AGAIN.

She's +Spd -Def so it's (I think) an actually okay nature for her. I'm still most likely going to give her Wind Boost to Alm (that way she'll be with a husbando forever, even if he doesn't love ha back because CELICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA) but I'll save her for now in the extremely slim chance that a unit in the next banner has Wind Boost as well and I get them.

That's Harlot's 3rd best bane, 1st best nature. It seems the pecking order is -RES > -HP > -DEF for melee units. She has high enough HP to avoid being 1HKO by reds/blues (even magic users not using boosted Blade Tomes) so it should be fine. I gave my Harlot Fury 3, Vantage, and kept her Spoon. I might use her one day.

IDK about what to do with Harlot anymore because she's hard to fit into a team. I wish Bride Caeda was -HP or -DEF instead of -ATK. She is good for the Arena, but feels very risky (Mae can nuke gorls in 1 hit if she doesn't double with 38 SPD+Darting Blow). Bride Cordelia tho omg...

Bride Cordelia has proven to be the mega powerful anti-heaux. OK as a flier, amazing as a bow user with the same stats. lol oopsT. She's been helping me win the hardest Tempest mode with ha Brave Bow. Tharja and Mae/Nino for Blade Hax to smite the cheating heauxes. Then Azura with Hone ATK 3 and Fortify Res 1 to give all the gorls the power to survive hacking heauxes. Best Cordelia deals with the magic users who aren't Hax Heaux Veronica. #SavageGorlSquad who #DoTheirBest while also saying things like #EatThisPal

Sad thing I noticed about Cordelia (but I suppose fits her subtly-depressed personality/attitude). I noticed her battlefield move lines are essentially "OK - I will - be happy." Even when she's a bride she has to remind herself to be happy. sad faec 2

I also have to remind myself to be happy. Because I have yet to get a Firesweep Bow and probably never will. That makes me very sad faec as well.

IMO you should keep pulling for Waifu Cordelia. She's the only one that offers something totally unique - that being an archer that can use more than 1 build and is the best non-gimmick archer we have atm. It will probably remain that way since I doubt they're going to give us another 35 ATK/35 SPD archer (tho an archer with 35 neutral ATK would be good enough for Brave Bow hax). Even if you miss out on a good boon, she will still be better than most archers. Heck, a -ATK Cordelia is as powerful as a neutral ATK Takumi. So she's one of the rare instances where -ATK doesn't hurt her like it would Setsuna or Takumi, although, it does lessen the likelihood of beating a few bulkier match ups.

The Caeda that I pulled a few weeks ago is +spd -res iirc. I plan on giving her the standard Blarblade set once I find the time to grind ha up.

I really like Charlotte and I'm sad that I pulled 3 of ha and only got -spd and -atk, but I'll still probably use her. I'm pretty sure I have like 2 Brave Lance+ gorls that I'm not going to use, so maybe I'll give that to her.

For Waifu Cordelia, should I do the quad build? I pulled a 5* Klein on the battling Camus banner, so I have an extra Brave Bow+ to give to her.

And should I give my 5* Priscilla Candlelight and Dazzling Staff? I use this Priscilla all the time for training up all of my units, but idk if it's worth it to give her those skills. She's +spd -atk btw

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga remake. Okay, this E3 just dumped 3 remakes on us: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Metroid: Returns, and Shadows of the Colossus, while at least one more is about to be released: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and we just got Fire Emblem Echoes, the remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden. Nothing wrong with remakes, but dude, that's a lot of remakes.

Living on a titan, multiple titans in the game each with a different motif.
You can only charge arts by autoattacking and there seems to be 3 combat arts and 3 blade(summons) arts each set to a face button.
Arts have descriptions showing what it does now.
Using arts charges the level of blade arts.
Blade arts give you a new set of arts to use and a finisher type. You can combine various blade art finishers to get effects like debuffing enemies or preventing reinforcements.
Art cooldowns also seem to start at zero in all battles.
Dedicated healers and position based arts are in.
Max team size is 3 again?
Party bar is back.
You can make allies can trigger effects like poison which you can expand on with your own arts.
Status' like break have timers showing now :O

I'm really content with myself considering that I got 3 out of the 4 waifus, although I would much rather take Charlotte over Caeda. For now I'm going to save up my orbs for another seasonal focus or one with a green unit, as my only 5* green is -atk/+res Raven and I have a long line of units that I want to promote before I eventually get to Cecilia for horse emblem shenanigans.

Lorde (and Cenizas ) Cordelia is much better off just brute forcing her way through enemies, she's basically silver Reinhardt with better speed and worse defenses. With Death Blow she's attacking with 52ATK x2 on player phase with Hone ATK. It's also safer since Quadelia would require her to use desperation (and die for sure the next hit + wasting a turn to set up Desperation is lame). I have a +SPD Cordelia so she has 33SPD naturally, enough to not get doubled by many units. She has enough bulk to survive 1 hit, bringing her easily under 50%. 33SPD is also enough to double slower bulkier heauxes, so she has a lot of great match ups. After surviving 1 hit, she's teleporting all over the damn map sniping heauxes (with Wings of Mercy dancer to help her teleport a 2nd time LEL). She's the anti-heaux savage gorl. pls ban

Anyway, Xenoblade better have some bara characters. What's the point of things like "oils" to make shirtless guys if there's no bara??? 0/10 WORST GAME OF THE YEAR IF THAT'S THE CASE!!! not rly tho

So basically, L&D lets you win more match-ups straight-up, but it also makes you lose some really important ones (especially Hector). DB3 is a lot safer and more reliable of an option. +spd and +atk are both really good, and it depends if you want to hit bulkier gorls harder or if you want to double characters with 28 spd (or 29 if you equip the spd +1 seal).

I think as of right now, I'll give my Cordelia DB3, but I'll probably give her L&D3 in the future so I can switch between different builds whenever I want.

And completely unrelated, but I believe the plural of heaux would be still be heaux, not heauxes. Words in French that end in -eau take an x at the end to denote plural. So something like chameau would become chameaux when plural. I guess heau should really be used when referring to a single person? idk it's not like heaux is a real french word, but seeing "heauxes" kinda triggered me

Considering they just gave Wo Dao+ to a unit other than Karel, I'm sure someone in the future will get the Firesweep Bow+. However, we'll probably have to wait a while since it was about 3 months between Karel+Wo Dao+'s introduction and the release of Athena+Wo Dao+

Speaking of Roderick and Firesweep. Check out this Firesweep Lance theory build (for Peri): https://serenesforest.net/forums/in...f-mystery-614/&do=findComment&comment=4875738. Pretty sure Abel can use it too since his attack and speed are basically the same as Peri's, but if Roderick comes in with at least 32 attack and 32 speed -- Cain's stats --, then yeah, he would be able to pull off the build too which he should since it's his default weapon. Of course, Peri has a higher ceiling because of that 1 attack lead, but cavalry buffs or buffs in general will probably close out the gaps between Abel and Peri and possibly Roderick.

Anyway, Legion as a boss uses the Immortal Axe which lets the user heal for 20 HP if you use it as an item. I'm not sure if it's his personal weapon since other units can get it through barracks conversations like in Awakening and other games. If Legion has the Immortal Axe in Heroes, then it could mean he's the first non-red and non-Falchion user to have a weapon with Renewal 2 built in. Immortal Axe has no other abilities unlike Gradivus which has 1-2 range and the heal function which Heroes went with 1-2 for a built-in Distant Counter. So, Immortal Axe and Renewal stacking could be a build for Legion, the berserker... With high attack and speed and 0 base resistance.

According to his wiki entry, as a playable unit, as a boss, and as an enemy through his clones, he has 0 base resistance. Let me repeat that: Legion has 0 base resistance and as one of the extra units you can recruit, he only has his class's growth rates which for Berserker is, I hope it's not typo, -15%. As a SpotPass unit in Awakening, he has 5 base resistance. The lowest resistance in Heroes is shared by Bartre, Ogma, and Virion at 13 neutral resistance. Could Legion's be lower? Possibly, but that would suck for him since Henry could probably sneeze on him and he'd die.

I'd say it looks a bit better on the 3DS case since the picture itself belongs better in a landscape orientation; the Switch box cuts off some of the art and has a lot of blank space on the top and bottom. But the art itself looks great either way.

Also Japan has a September 28th release date for it, so it'll (possibly?) be the same for everyone else because of REGION FREE SWOOTCH.

Another character was found: Clarisse or Kleine as she's known in Japanese. She's an archer and Katarina's "little sister". Also, apparently she's pretty mean. Please have at least 32 attack and 32 speed... Please. I don't think I can get a bride Cordelia and I'm not about to dump 70 orbs to try and find out if I can since I also desperately want and need a different red mage.

Anyway, so, axe and bow infantry for potential GHBs. Would be amazing if they weren't GHBs, but units you can actually get through the new quests.

As for Peri crafting, that's an OK option for her. She has the stats to really play decently, and Firesweep acts like a free Desperation so she can use something else for her B Passive. Perhaps Seal ATK or a teleport so she can help herself live longer if she doesn't kill the enemy. Or just Escape Route might be the better bet since her DEF/HP is so low that a hit will bring her down to 50% ezpzy. I like Peri as a unit it's just I never got her. And quite frankly, there's so much competition for a blue spot on a Horse Emblem team. It's easier to just bring Rein/Olwen/Ursula and be done with it.

Anyway, I was going to mention this, but I kept forgetting, Legion reminds me of Wei Yan from Dynasty Warriors. The mask and similar color palette he's rocking is like Wei Yan. Only difference is that Legion uses an axe while Wei Yan uses a double-bladed voulge -- basically a halberd.

Some things from the treehouse thing.
Living on a titan, multiple titans in the game each with a different motif.
You can only charge arts by autoattacking and there seems to be 3 combat arts and 3 blade(summons) arts each set to a face button.
Arts have descriptions showing what it does now.
Using arts charges the level of blade arts.
Blade arts give you a new set of arts to use and a finisher type. You can combine various blade art finishers to get effects like debuffing enemies or preventing reinforcements.
Art cooldowns also seem to start at zero in all battles.
Dedicated healers and position based arts are in.
Max team size is 3 again?
Party bar is back.
You can make allies can trigger effects like poison which you can expand on with your own arts.
Status' like break have timers showing now :O
Toppling is in. Wonder if they'll fix topple locking.
Launch is a new status. Seems to be after topple? It looks sick. I want to be able to combo with it like yasuo ult.
