Anyway, Ba'als give so much job points in Bravely Second! Shame that I have to get them down to level 1 to do any kind of damage. Pretty sure I challenged one at level 2 just to see what would happen... No damage from it, but I couldn't do damage to it either because its defenses were still around the 100's. Also, they give buns which I don't really know what to do with. Do characters have a stat cap like you can't raise Edea's Mind to be higher than Magnolia's?

So! I got lucky and summoned Lucina, Chrom, and Camilla for the Spring Event. All Spring Weapons heal +4HP after the battle if you initiate it. So they're not bad, at least. They all have a unique or 2 unique passives, resulting in more EXP/badges/whatever if certain conditions are met. They're not the best, but w/e.

1) Lucina is not like Linde... She's better. RIP Linde you have been replaced by a bunny mop that attacks with an egg. Lucina basically gets Darting Blow 2/Death Blow 2 (+4/+4) when initiating. Her speed and HP are the same as Linde, but she has more DEF/less RES for a more rounded out bulk. Her attack is also higher. I drew a +ATK/-DEF Lucinda, so I was planning to give her Dire Thunder so she can murder everything. 30 speed with Dire Thunder, 34 when initiating. New meta has been formed. RIP everyone.

2) Chrom is probably the best of them all. His outfit is cute, his lines are cute, he is qtpieman. Pls ban. Overall he is a faster and slightly less bulky Chrom, but with an axe. He gets +2 DEF/+2 ATK for a passive. I have 2 of him, so I could pass the +2 DEF/ATK buff or I could just merge for more SP. I have a +SPD/-DEF Chrom (I think). His only bad stat seems to be res. He seems like normal Lucina, but with an Axe.

3) Camilla is a nuker with so-so speed. So basically the reverse of her normal version. Her outfit is cute. Her passives are meh (Defiant Speed and +Badges). Though a flying nuker could really be a problem. She has high DEF, so she might be able to survive 1 hit from all archers, but her RES is just a load of rotten eggs. Green magic is meh so I'll probably skip using her. Well, at least until there's some reason to have a buncha flyers on a team. (I have SO MANY 4 STAR CORDELIAS WTF)

So Xander is confirmed the worst of the 4 (but still good, just not as good), but at least his booty is Genji-tier. So maybe he's actually the best.

I still wanted Xander because his lines are probably the funniest because it's Xander. Though I have so many blue units that it'd be redundant. I'd rather use Nowi (who is bulky and a nuker and just absurd because she is +3 and 5 stars) over Xander. Lucina would at least fill a role as a ranged nuker while Nowi can just be a loli goddess or something.

I think all I need for a rounded out team is a really good silver unit or red unit, now. I have Karel, Lucina, Lyn, and a few Eliwoods... But they're just not good enough. I don't know why. They just don't have any OOMPH to them (like my Nowi or Hector).

Caeda would be cool as a mage killer, but I'd need to give her another weapon since Armorslayer is kind of pointless with her attack and defense and another Effie would be useful for Wary Fighter or maybe this one won't have low speed? Eh. The chance of getting Kagero, one unit, is probably still too high to be worth it.

As for the Spring thing, the new weapons and skills look neat, but I'm still not sure. Probably not going to summon. Lucina being awkward to Xander who is implied to be his real self acting goofy is funny.

Yeah, everyone thinks it's going to be a repeat of last time. Beruka in either Alfonse or Elise's place, Subaki in Elise's, and Cordelia in Ephraim's. Cherche and Minerva would be in either Chrom or Ephraim's place depending on their relative popularity. So, I guess Palla is in Leo's? Oops, forgot about Hinoka. Er... I don't know. Whoever is paired up with Camilla in the first round and is popular will end up like Sharena.

Still going to fight for Cherche because she's my favorite out of the bunch and unlike somebody, has showed up during my summons.

He probably will because he's a cavalry, he can self heal, he's a 5* by default, his average speed is decent, and he's Xander. I guess you better quit while you're ahead.

His attack stat is really low; FE Heroes wiki is listing it at 25 average. It's around where Caeda, Eirika, Selena, Subaki, and Sully are, but with no Triangle Adept, a gem weapon, a type-effective weapon, or a high MT legendary weapon. With low attack, I think his base attack is going to cap at 22 which is Odin's average attack. Once again, low attack is worst.

If you had pulled an average Bunny Xander, I think he would have been a good support unit. Fairly fast and durable both physically and magically.

That's nice and all. But I am curious if it'll be worth it or not. Since there are those that might be low on funds to even get the episodes or are just too damn lazy to even go onto Crunchyroll to even watch them. :V

But he'd need Death Blow and Brave Lance+. That's 42 attack x2 on attack phase, which isn't too bad and will delete any actual threats to him (magic users).

I'd rather wait for the real Xander, though. He seems like a really good sword unit, basically a bulky Ryoma with less speed. Oh, and he's hotter too because he's not a lobster with anime hair.

Steam is basically stealing every territory they can. Which IMO isn't a bad thing since Steam has regular sales and is very fair.

Tho f'real, it's kinda dumb there's only a few limits but not a lot. TBH I wish the only thing we could swap around were skills and assists (and MAYBE blank slots, since all units have at least 1 free passive skill slot). Most units were built with their current weapon in mind, so nothing is really stopping us from just using high BS characters with absurd weapon+passive combos.

I still want my horsie archers tho.

I dunno. Probably because of all the extremely powerful other red units? Apparently Draug is really good, but you need to change some stuff like getting rid of his Brave Sword for another weapon. Draug is the fastest knight with the highest defense out of the bunch. In my opinion, Caeda, Draug, and Gwendolyn are held back by their weapons. Caeda's resistance is her high stat which makes Armorslayer questionable -- Selena is the opposite, so it makes sense for her --, Draug's average attack paired with a low damaging weapon type doesn't help him, and Gwendolyn's Killer Lance isn't great when her special is a melee defensive skill and she has the second highest defense and resistance of the knights, so... why? I'd add in Setsuna too, but at least Assassin Bow has a high MT and gives her a niche against thieves. Being 3* and lower knights does mean that Draug and Gwen don't have access to rarer, more powerful skills like what Effie, Hector, and Sheena have, but they're still good, especially with Inherit Skill allowing to become even better.

I think it's looking grim for Draug since he's probably going to remain a sleeper unit for a long time. Zephiel's GHB is coming up and he apparently has Wary Fighter and when the Black Knight eventually arrives... Yeah... not looking so great for Draug. Basically, Zephiel is a freebie unit with access to a legendary and Wary Fighter and the Black Knight also has access to a legendary and is pretty famous. Draug's like the underdog who can perform as well as he wants, but nobody cares because he's not them. Maybe someone can change that.

Anyway, speaking of inheriting skills, Cress! , did you not have access to a 4* Arthur or a spare Narcian to give Anna Lancebreaker 2 or 3? I checked her skill list because I was curious and she only has Emerald Axe and Lancebreaker 1.

Oh, and no, Bunny Camilla's wyvern is not holding an egg in its mouth, instead, there is a flower ribbon attached to her the side of its head and its tail. Does Camilla's wyvern have a name? I think Beruka's does and so does Percy's, but since I never played the games, I don't know. The only wyvern's name I can remember is Cherche's because she says it all the time. I heard her say, "Snack time, Minerva!", recently and it's amazing. I need to get Cherche a special.

Anyway, speaking of inheriting skills, Cress! , did you not have access to a 4* Arthur or a spare Narcian to give Anna Lancebreaker 2 or 3? I checked her skill list because I was curious and she only has Emerald Axe and Lancebreaker 1.

I used Arthur to give her Swap and just threw Emerald Axe and LB 1 in there because why not. Never planned on using them.
Also who needs Lancebreaker when you have 41 natural speed and will basically outright kill any blue unit in 1 round anyways? The only problem unit is Effie but even then (assuming Effie is neutral and with Silver Lance+) Anna attacks and Effie's HP goes down from 50→26. Effie hits back and Anna goes from 41→16. If Effie attacks Anna next turn, Vantage activates, Anna uses Moonbow and that gorl's ded. btw I used this Fire Emblem Heroes calculator that's really neato. Mostly just posting this tho so I can find it in my post history if I ever need it but if any of yew need it, there it is.
