Just messed around in Training Mode.

Seems like I found a True Combo according to the game with Lucina. UTilt (Back End) > FH BAir > FAir. Does at least 30% with no staling on any of the moves. Only tested on Mario at 25%.

Modders have gotten one working.

Oh god dammit! I'm cracking up from this. :secretkpop:

In other news, I received my results today from University. Got 58/100. I'm okay with this, I was hoping for at a 60, I got a 58. I'm happy with that, but I know I can at least improve on it during my Portfolio process. I'll work on two posters tomorrow, the final part of my Essay on Sunday, book a meeting with my Tutor, and fix up the one I submitted. :V

When I found out Palutena, Pit and Viridi had their own codec calls, I was so happy, because while I've never played Uprising, I allowed myself to see small bits of their banter, and I loved it.

Marth and Lucina are fundamentally the same character. The tippers REALLY skew the reward ratio tho.
ZeRo's oPEEnions have never been particularly good, idk why we are caring so much now.
A lot of times characters can act BEFORE the rapid jab of Bayonetta connects, so try it sometime I guess.

I recall seeing a number of people freak out that the Smash 4 metagame was going to turn out to be super campy early on. Heh.

Then again, I don't recall any of those discussions bringing up Mii Gunner, so..

Huh... I wonder why this is a thing? The concept of it happening and not why people can act before her rapid jab. For why it's happening, apparently it takes 15 frames from her jab 3 before rapid jab starts. Her rapid startup is also frame 4, so that's 18? frames of startup. Not really a bad thing if the hit stun from jab 3 is enough. SpaceJam's calculator says at 0% with the 47 base hitboxes, it would do 19 frames of hitstun while the 28 base hitboxes would do 11. Low 20 growth won't do much; 47 base do 21 frames and 28 base hitboxes do 14 frames. So, I guess it's tuned a bit right, but you'd need to hit with the closest hitboxes or otherwise deal with being -7 going into rapid jab... I also don't know if Bayonetta's like Falco where holding down jab results in jab 3 transitioning into rapid jab noticeably slower -- isn't the case with characters like Fox and Sheik -- or if she's like Diddy where holding down jab leads to her stopping at jab 3 which... what the hell, Diddy's jab 3 isn't the finisher, so why not have it continue into rapid jab?

Part of me feels like rapid jabs were done "wrong" in Smash. In other fighting games with attacks like that, there is a set amount of hits and if you can extend them, it's never indefinitely. In other non-fighting games and maybe fighting games, if you can extend them indefinitely, you need to mash the hell out of the button and it's probably not practical to do so e.g. extending Million Stabs in DMC. That's one thing wrong about rapid jabs. The other thing is that in a game focused about knockback, it's kind of weird that up until Smash 4, rapid jabs never had a finisher. It could have been as simple as a hitbox called that launches people or at least cause a crumple effect without a finishing animation, but for some reason, that never occurred to the developers to do that. That's the other thing wrong with rapid jabs. Also, there's the whole why are there moves that have you sit in place with a hitbox? Even in more restricted games, it's kind of stupid to just sit there with a committal move and in Smash where they don't have much knockback to begin with. *cough*64Fox/FalcoBlaster*cough*

Part of me feels like because rapid jabs can be extended indefinitely, none of them need to be reliable at all. Why should they? Hitboxes that can be sustained indefinitely constantly threatening damage and in the right, although rare situations can cause an infinite. Rapid jab finishers were answers to infinites, but that doesn't stop some characters... Anyway, if they weren't able to be extended indefinitely, then of course they would need to be reliable. For example, if Captain Falcon's rapid jab does 5 hits at a minimum and 9 at max, then okay, Capt. needs rapid jab to link into finisher, but if Capt. can just extend it to however long he wants, then screw him. Use jab 3 or some other move.


Oh, and today I learned what it looks like to have a "transcendent" projectile that can interact with hitboxes looks like in a fighting game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epnt2I7y124. RIP projectile wars. People are already calling her broken despite the game being out for only a week. Yes, she has a reputation when it comes to being in crossover games, but still... It's possible to deal with and punish her "broken" options. Speaking of early stuff, KoF XIV had one top player release a tier list. Wait a month, please? Game has 50 characters.

Your Robin was good, it's just team attack meant you were hounded with super fast Mayo spreads and then whatever me/Nammy were doing at the time. So you couldn't use him to his fullest at that time. Your Jigs and Falco were pretty good for sure tho.

My friend has an Asus (I think) computer monitor and it's basically 0 lag; it's beautiful.

BTW your Bayo is the stronkest mayo brand but it's still fattening so pls get it off the Sm4sh Sandwich because us gorls are on a diet.

Speaking of the ninjas, they really should of given them a triangle attack. There's three of them, and they've got their connections with each other, so they would of been perfect for it.

Oh well.

Edit: The Pineapple and Saizo avatars, and then the talk of ninjas, made me think I was in the Corrin social for a second. Ha.
