We got four new Pokemon announced, some proper descriptions on the abilities, and of course. Some new mechanics and ways to play online competitions.

New Bug/Water type named Wimpod.
It has the new ability Wimp Out. Where if its HP reaches below 50%, it will flee from battle or get swapped out for another Pokemon. Basically, think of it as a free Eject Button.

New Grass type named Bounsweet.
Not much is known other than it has Leaf Guard and Oblivious as its abilities. Although I predict it'll evolve with a Sun Stone.

New Fairy type named Comfey.
It has a new ability named Triage, which makes it so healing moves always go first above every other move with priority. So you'll be able to get off a Synthesis or Heal Pulse before a Weavile gets to use Fake Out. This is pretty huge.

New Ground type named Mudsdale.
It has a new ability named Stamina. Where if it gets hit by a Physical move, its defense will increase by 1. And judging by the information about it. It'll have high Atk, high Def and poor Speed. Which I can see being good.

Mimikyu keeps its Japanese name "Mimikyu".
It's cry is so adorable! <3
And we get to know what Disguise is, it allows Mimikyu to take one hit without receiving any damage. So basically, think of it as either a Focus Sash Shedinja, or a free Substitute.

Kiteruguma is now named Bewear.
It's ability Fluffy halves damage taken from Physical moves or moves that contact. However, Fire Type moves do double damage. So it's situational against Pokemon like Heatran, but it sounds really good though. Though I think Fluffy is a slightly inferior version of Furcoat.

There's a new type of training confirmed too. Called Hyper Training.
You can access this if you have a Pokemon at Lv. 100. And what it does... is allow you to trade in Bottle Caps for IV enhancements to give your Pokemon better IV stats. (The trailer shows Pikachu with about the following: 5/10/7/17/10/9, then afterwards, shows it having 31 in every stat). This is going to make getting into competitive and VGC so much easier to do! And less of a hassle with constantly breeding to get the perfect Pokemon! <3

Finally, there's now a confirmation on being able to create your own friendly competitions with Pokemon Global Link. You can set the rules, name, numbers of battles per day, what Pokemon are allowed, etc. You'll get a QR Code to scan in too if you want to take part in that competition.

Predictions: Pokken is almost guaranteed to be out next year. Lowest viewership numbers this year plus it ain't that popular with the FGC overall. I know I ain't a fan personally. But that's whatever.

It's important to mentioned that ESPN 2 numbers are not available. If those were to be included, SFV numbers would increase dramatically. Melee and Guilty Gear saw increases in viewership from last year, Melee more so. All the other games experienced small drops in viewers.

With Tekken 7 FR console, Injustice 2, King of Fighters 14, and BlazBlue CF coming out in time to be considered, spots for EVO are more hotly contested than ever. My personal expectation goes like SFV, both Smash games, Guilty Gear, Tekken 7, Injustce 2, KoF 14, KI, and UMvC 3. Guilty Gear always the preferred anime game in the US over BB and Marvel had signs of life this year.

Final note: Smash 4 will probably get Saturday primetime next year. Two Smash games on Sunday is too much honestly. Let me put this way, Fox Vs Sheik on Battlefield can easily happen in both games. I'd much rather see a Kyo vs Iori fight versus Fox vs Sheik in two games. But that's my opinion

And as someone on the East Coast, those KI numbers would have been larger if it hadn't been delayed by two hours due to Smash and Pokken.

Why does it feel good to watch some shows on Crunchyroll?

I kind of never felt this way before. Maybe it's because I'm giving the creators actual income from the advertisements. And sure, I have to wait once a week just to watch each episode for an anime I'm watching; but it feels worth it tbh. Also, I'm not a paying member, I can't be bothered to use the Premium service. :V

So far only watching ReLIFE which I cannot stress enough is REALLY good. I might put on some other shows like "Is The Order A Rabbit??" or Toradora!!, since I haven't seen Toradora!! before. All I know is that it's the feels express later down the line. (And that Taiga is low tier in DFC. :V)

i've been stuck with 3ds for smash since I got a new router a few months back (rip gamepad) and i barely touch it. the controls are so awful. it just wasn't designed for the ****ty stick (especially the one on the 2ds)

I played 3DS a lot because it was all I had. But I am a believer of the idea that the Gamecube controller is the only controller for Smash. Even mentioning another controller should brand a man as a heathen and expel him from ever playing a Smash game again.
