I run through different usernames all the time. But I never really identified with them until McKnightlight. It's my name AND a play on words. 2 of my favorite things.

Re: Usernames
PuffleKirby21 came from me signing up for YouTube back in 2009 and panicking on the spot because I hadn't thought of a username before signing up. I think it also shows what 2 games I was interested in back then. I just used that username on every website since, this one was am exception (even then, PK21 is just the name abbreviated). I've been trying to move on to Cress, or at least I would have if @Cress didn't take that name for a month then never come back

Anyone have the same problem with picking names for characters in games? I feel like in character creation games I spend more time thinking of the "perfect name" over making the character itself.

Well, I don't really have an old name I used on Youtube or whatever. However, I had the cringes the 12 year old NNID anyone could ever have, and I'm too embarassed to reveal it. :v
Luckily I created a new NNID so nobody ever has to see that monstrosity ever again.

My NNID is Barkeep. Short, simple, makes sense as an alias.

The only real thing about my usernames growing up that I find a bit cringe is that they were all something fire related followed by numbers.

Anyone have the same problem with picking names for characters in games? I feel like in character creation games I spend more time thinking of the "perfect name" over making the character itself.

I usually just go with my real name, unless I'm playing Zelda. First play throughs are always as Link, but after that, it's... QWERTY!™. I wanted to name Link something silly on my 3rd play through Skyward Sword and I looked at the keyboard for a minute and then decided on QWERTY, then I just added random junk legal proof that I created the name to the end of it.

My original username when i started being an internet memer was SuperSableye24. I just...really liked Sableye, and it was my name for Pokecharms.com. It's still my NNID cause I don't wanna change it.

Anyways when i came here around the time the 3DS version was released, Shulk was my main and I wanted a name to go along with him. Thus, Burgundy Blade. But i regretted it eventually, and only just recently was I finally given Premium and I got rid of my 14 year old edge :^)

~ POWERPUFF GORLS 2 - OFFICIAL ZELDA SOCIAL COMPILATION VIDEO PLANNING ~​

Okay, here's the OFFICIAL post regarding the logistics for the social compilation video. As you may have all known and remembered, we made a video last year highlighting some cool plays from some of us here. Everyone had about 2-3 clips, and around 30 seconds of glory, with their own special banner and song, to show off. Vid in the spoiler tag below.

Spoiler: POWERPUFF GORLS

Now, this video was good, but faced some criticism that I believe we can do to make this better. Mostly it was the fact that the plays in the vid weren't exactly high level. So we've all (hopefully) had a year to step our game up, so this should be less of an issue.

~ CLIP SUBMISSION ~

Depending the number of people who are participating, we may have as much as 2-3 clips like last time (total ~30-40 secs), or everyone might only have one clip of glory. The former worked well, but I personally do not want a video past 10 minutes like last time. I'd say 7-8 minutes is the MAX we should hit this time; don't want to have 10 minutes of mediocre plays tbh.

3DS USERS: Last time we had @Nammy12 use his capture card to get higher quality footage. I will be lenient and ALLOW 3DS footage for this montage. But they CANNOT be in camera quality. So if Nammy doesn't mind, you should send them over to him so he can record it and send them to me.

WII U USERS: Thanks to the YouTube function, this is SUPER EASY to get high quality footage. Best way is to UPLOAD IT TO YOUTUBE YOURSELF, then link it to me. This is because, iirc, I CANNOT UPLOAD YOUR REPLAYS YOU'VE SENT ME TO YOUTUBE. Therefore, please do the work yourself, and link me via the social here, or by PM!

****NOTE**** If your Wii U replay is longer than 3 minutes, we need a capture card user to help us with the footage. Last time, I think it was FullMoon and @Moydow who helped us out, but idk if either can do it this time. SO WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN RECORD WII U STUFF WITH A CAPTURE CARD.

Tournament footage from stream is OKAY! Also note that I will be PERSONALLY reviewing these clips as well, to determine if the quality of the play is suitable for the montage or not. I will let the individual know if it's good or not. Sorry that I have to implement this, but I truly believe if we are going to do this again, we will need to make sure it GREATLY surpasses the first video in terms of quality, which means being more strict on what is allowed on this.

~ MUSIC SUBMISSION ~

Everyone's personal highlight will come with their own chosen music, and logo (explained later). Once I have APPROVED of your clips, and gave you an estimated time frame your highlights lasted, you can send me the music choice that you want, and the timestamps that GOES AT THE SAME TIME AS YOUR ESTIMATED TIME FRAME I GAVE YOU. Please note that your music:

• Should try and avoid copyright infringement on YouTube (otherwise the whole vid may be muted)
• Should avoid being extremely explicit
• Should be readily available
• Can be instrumental OR with vocals

You can check to see if your music is okay to use if multiple uploads of the music is found on YouTube, without the vid being muted. Then link me to the music either here, or via PM.

~ BANNER SUBMISSION ~

Everyone will also have a personal banner in the beginning of their highlight, containing their tag, and their main(s). An example is below.

NOTE THAT I do NOT have access to a good editing image software now, so most likely the banners will be of slightly lower quality. Please understand, but I hope it won't be a drastic drop.

IF YOU WERE A PREVIOUS PPG PARTICIPANT:
• If you have NOT changed your mains/tag since the last montage, I will most definitely re-use your banner from last time, UNLESS you want me to change the text/colour/
• If you HAVE changed your mains/tag since, I'll make one from scratch and incorporate the change, and hopefully without a huge drop in quality.
IF YOU ARE A NEWCOMER:
• Please let me know what tag you will use, if there's any special request for font (ie Pokemon font/AoT font etc...), and what character(s) you main that will be featured alongside your tag.

Please do all of this AFTER I have reviewed your clips and approved of them. Again, social or PM would be cool.

I'm a busy man, so I won't be available to help too much until much later. So the deadline will be quite a way's away from now, since that will be when I'll be much for free. If I don't get back to you about stuff about this, please understand.

Do note that if you are submitting your clips through capture card users, you should give your highlights to them 3-4 in advance BEFORE the deadline, so they have time to give it to me for review. Preferably, the SOONER THE BETTER, because I might reject your clip. Also, I might have the deadline sooner if there's a huge number of clips submitted, and the video starts exceeding the maximum time I'm expecting.

Doubles is fine! In general we just need a good mix of silly and cool.
