I wonder if anyone else realised how much easier the Dedede MU has become thanks to our Nair buff. Now we can send the Gordo back with our least committal aerial as opposed to having to shield it or Nayrus it back.

Regirock has too much bulk for Sturdy to be useful and doesn't have any 4x weakness like Golem or Aggron for attacks to K.O. it in one hit. It's really only useful for the rare 30% accurate OHKO moves.

Sand Veil is honestly more useless than Solar Power on Heliolisk imo. With Solar Power you can at least use the Special Attack boost to sweep or wallbreak. The evasion boost you get from Sand Veil is just gimmicky and though I guess it can deal with Skarmory and bulky Waters for Excadrill on Sand teams I guess. Helio's definitely best in Rain though.
I find Dry Skin the most useful since it gives an extra immunity (in addition to the Ghost Immunity) and makes Heliolisk even more effective against Bulky Water types. It can also be useful when used together with Volt Switch because you can switch in and out, granting you momentum.

I've been compiling a list of moves for Zelda in SSF2.

Here's what I got so far.
Confirms into Grab and Utilt:
Landing Nair = Almost any percentage as long as it's only one or two hits.
Sourspot Fair on Landing = Up to about 40% it keeps him close for a grab. Any higher is when you'll really have to start running in for a Dash-Grab/Utilt.
Sourspot Bair on Landing = 10%. Because of the move having a low angle knocking directly back, you should always try to space yourself Dash-Grab/Utilt.
Sourspot Dair on Landing = Works well pass 100%. This is one of the best ones but harder to land. It keeps your opponent a single position bouncing them up for a follow-up.

Ground starting:

from 0%
Dash-Attack > Grab-Dthrow...
(if DI-Up) > Utilt > Utilt > Fair
(if DI-Away) > Dash-Attack > SH Fair/Uair. - Or something more complicated like Dash-Attack > SH Sour-Dair > Dtilt > Regrab

On-landing:

Nair > Utilt > Uair.
Nair > Dsmash | when at the ledge, good to get them off-stage for gimp-setups.
Nair > Usmash > Uair

Fair, Dash-Attack, Utilt, Uair
Fair > Ftilt > (turnaround) Utilt > Uair

Advanced ones would be like:

Grab-Dthrow > SH Sour-Dair > Reverse Dtilt > Dash-Turnaround Grab-Dthrow > Utilt > SH Uair > FJ Uair. Which is like a 60-70%

A good one on Fox at 20-30%
Uthrow > Dash-Utilt > Full-Jump Sour Fair > Falling Sour Fair > (land) Dash-Attack > Turnaround Short-Hop Lightning-Bair = 68% instinct-kill.

Just for the heck of it, Here's Zelda doing a ken combo.

Morning girls. How's everyone doing? :4zelda:

Still a bit unwell, got myself some medicine so it can at least help with my cold. So far, I got a headache, my joints are hurting and my nose is stuffy and runny. :V

Hope you feel better, sis. Maybe being a weeb and Zeldorp social-goer (same thing huuuehuuue) for extended periods of time has literally made you sick?

Gurls is D-Tilt -> LK ever a true combo? I've been landing it a few times but I don't know if it's opponent messing up or if it's true.
Character dependent onstage at about 70% (the ones I've tested before that worked were Fox, Marth, Shulk), & although I haven't tested it on every character, Dtilt on ledge-grabbing opponents to Fair might work on every character from +72%.

All without Rage btw

hi everyone !
can someone know what is the earlier kill pourcentage you can do from farore's wind (on the ground) ? because i was doing a zelda mirror's match and was surprised to kill him at 41% with that move.
  1. I'd recommend going to the zelda Q&A thread with questions
  2. zelda's up b is super dependent on your opponents weight and your rage, high rage can lower the kill percent by like 30% and low weights can die like 15% sooner compared to heavies
Boredom results in some crazy things.

Bonus points if anyone knows what this is intended to do.
hard to tell, because i forgot what order values appear in. oops

hi arctic wolf :^)

what's up
Hey Berserker. :D
Nothing much happening really, just dropping in to say hi.

Not much has been happening. Other than I've finished my Uni stuff for a week, Furret Furret is having a job interview. And briefly talked about VGC 2016 yesterday. :V

And that I've fallen sick AGAIN.
Hope you get better.

Funny thing is I only get sick about once a year or never. I ended up sick around February from a cold this year, and now I got another cold from my Dad this time. :V

I only know it has something to do with your lab rats, err, I mean Bobombs.
:196:
Unfortunately I had to switch to Smart Bombs, because Bob-ombs apparently have a rather short limit on how long after exploding they can put hitboxes out for.

Anyway, I replaced the explosion with prepatch Meta Knight ladder. :4metaknight:

Make Zeldoo's Nair do the same thing to make her F tier so she can sassily wave buhbye to J tier.

Even if BR's tier list is a huger joke than Zelda herself you should take this post seriously. jajaja

I dunno why. But the other day, I decided to look at a RunawayGuys stream highlight video of ProtonJon, NintendoCapriSun and ChuggaaConroy playing Mario Party 6, and all of the innuendos Chuggaa was making was insane. And he didn't even make them on purpose, he's that innocently minded. :V

And funny thing was that that stream reached 5k viewers on Twitch as well. Well done ProtonJon.

I'd list what some of the innuendos he made, but I don't think I should. :3

Omg people are running Level 13 Smeargles in VGC so they underspeed Ferrothorn under Trick Room but also maximizes Double Edge recoil damage. That optimization though.

you need to try sunteam with cherrim. cherrim may suck in singles but i think cherrim has some pretty good niches in doubles.

well i mean you could only get cherrim for honey trees from gen 4 and you couldn't in any other. it's not like cherrims still even in the anime or anywhere to be seen.
I really think Cherrim is super cute but only in its opened flower form. So using it in game was too much trouble. :C

she's so forgettable I spelled it wrong

I still kinda like her, she's just not that good, considering how hard it is to get her.

I can't find female combee for the life of me

I tried Cherrim in the past but I can see potential minimal usage since sun is a thing in VGC 2016. Problem is half the time, it's also raining and with stuff like Trick Room and how awful Cherrim is I doubt it is very viable. Grass type is also quite weak atm.

I built and played with a couple VGC teams today btw. I'm enjoying format a lot so far, but I still need to get used to some Doubles things. Haven't built with anything particularly creative or interesting yet since I'm still learning about how the metagame is, but I'm pretty fond of Giratina Origin and Choice Scarf Zekrom atm. Greninja seems decent, but the 4 moveslot syndrome is real with it. I'm thinking that Grass Knot/Ice Beam/Hydro Pump/Protect is its best set in VGC 2016 since it needs Grass Knot for hitting the Primals, but I'm also intrigued at the prospect of running physical Greninja with Gunk Shot/Low Kick/Rock Slide/Protect to pressure Xerneas and Ferrothorn more.
