so instead of studying for midterms I ended up watching "The Garden of Words". You know, that movie with this GIF

But it was a really good movie, would recommend.

Well my Smash 4 tournament debut could have gone better but it could have gone worse. I lost the first round, partially because I had the misfortune to be matched up against one of the state's better players and partially because I SDed twice the second game (y no three stock ). Then I beat two people in losers and lost to a rather good Sheik. The match there was reasonably close so I'm not super upset.

I got to play a decent amount of friendlies, some with one of the guys who beat me. I played the most with this one guy who hates Game & Watch. Entirely and utterly. He used Sonic but wasn't super proficient. He kind of broke down when his usual tactics weren't working. Decent at DThrow techchases though!
