The new Famitsu scans for Hyrule Warriors had a note saying that you can only transfer characters (and probably Ganon's Trident) over to the Wii U version, the story missions and maps are Legends exclusive.

R.I.P. Wii U version, dead as Zelda's competitive viability.

The characters Tetra, King of Hyrule (Red Lions in the localized version), Stalkid (Skull Kid in the localized version), Toon Link, and Linkle will be playable in the Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors. However, the Windwaker story and Linkle story will only be playable in Hyrule Warriors Legends.

That sets a new record for hype derailment right there.

On the bright side, it saves me some cash and I don't have to spend a ton of time grinding the new characters up a bunch of levels.

And on another high note, I can still take any new songs the game will have and put them on my Project M build so at least I still get something from it.

Of course that new content is stuff I was willing to pay good money for anyway so it's debatable if that's really a positive. Nintendo's/Tecmo-Koei loss I guess.

But seriously: I liked the article, but I can't help but feel that it skirted around her weaknesses too much and over-played her strengths. Why wasn't the fact that she has almost no approach options while also having a hard time playing defensively (she's a poor 'turtle' because of her frame data and lack of proper projectile) not mentioned? Her weaknesses clearly outweigh her strengths (Good KO power, average, maybe a-bit-above-average combo game).

She's not unplayable, but she has probably one of the worst match-up spreads in the game. The article didn't convince me that she's not worse than most other characters. It just talked about how she has a few things going for her -- which we already know.

So today I was playing FG and I ran into a who actually knew what she was doing. We had a couple matches and all of them were really fun with "GG!" tags all around.

A couple hours later when my best friend @Izayoi came over to Smash I ran into her again in 2v2 FG. I recognized her from the tag "https://". She soon switched her tag to "Hi again" after seeing my tag "Harasho~". The chances really lol.

Overall, I just wanted to say that Zelda mains are really chill and you guys are awesome.

Ike's are usually cool too.

Seeing the amount of 's pop up after Ryo at BH5 and MLG really annoyed me, especially the ones who spam his smashes and Quick Draw. Seeing a legit good Ike is always a great experience tho'. Rinku リンク is one of those peeps. I've never really had a good experience with any 's on FG, unfortunately. All the ones I've come across spam Farore's Wind and Din's Fire, and end up taunting after every kill.

I agree with you on / mains. Same applies for ones. Especially if they choose black alts or the gold/pink ones for Falcon. Most people just bandwagon main them because "hurr hurr top tier" and be cocky little ***** while playing them.
