It's happened a few times. I had a noteworthy one just the other day:

But usually people will quit a match early if they SD or if they simply aren't feeling it. I will usually SD if someone else SDs. Sometimes if I am in a really frustrating situation - like against a Sonic that is literally running away from me all game when I am playing a slow character, on top of some awful WiFi - I will simply SD. I will try to win, but I'm not going to endure 7 minutes of stupidity (2 minutes from lag) for an online win against Alex's campy Sonic or Jake's Link that doesn't have an A button and rolls a minimum of 3 times consecutively.

Hello people I made an account when I read that article on the first page! I can't wait to learn all about Zelda, I think in a couple years she will be the best character, we just need determination! I have watched Vin and his Zelda is very good. He uses the teleport in awesome ways! I want to be that good!

Hey there! It's nice to see a new face around here. It's pretty cool how the article on the front page got you to join this site. I like your optimism too.

Anyway, everyone just trolled you pretty hard so don't take what they said seriously at all. (Din's fire off-stage is instant death for instance). There's a bit of a culture here and it's easy mess with people if they don't know about it, but the people here aren't bad or anything. There's lots of nice people here, including myself, so you don't need to feel intimidated.

And don't worry about getting banned by Antonykun, the only people capable of that have a banner under their name that says "Moderator" or "Administrator" and stuff like that. He was just joking. "Enjoy your ban" is an example of the "culture" here and is a running joke that usually happens whenever someone breaks the rules, but it shouldn't be taken too seriously in this thread at least.

Double posting is against the rules though so make sure you avoid that. Hitting the "edit" button on your post or waiting for someone else to post is the way to go.

Also, this place moves pretty fast compared to many places on this site (it used to go much faster when I first came here though) but it's not a big deal.

I browsed the comment section of the article. I feel Zelda's bottom of the pack because if she got the buffs she needed she would be at least mid tier where as right now she's borderline mid tier really in theory and I feel like right now she has no advantage matchups jus a bunch of easier light disadvantages that are almost even...but Sakurai will never really give her what she needs to be decent.

I see that I've been summoned a few times. Sorry about the lack of participation but I feel that the board needs hope, and my realistic feels about our lovely Zelda would not necessarily facilitate hope lol.

I read the little article about her viability and I wish I could share that positive outlook. I legitamately feel that we are the worst character in the game and that all her faults from brawl were magnified by 1000 in this game. With that said, I'm considering solo'ing her for a bit once the PR season is over here in FL just so I can see how far the rabbit hole goes.

I feel like Phantom might be better for edge guarding but I need to look into the MU more & see how counter affects Phantom in this situation. Spaced Dsmash & maybe Dtilt when he overshoots the ledge using Up B would be really good to get down. You could always try to go above him & Dair him to oblivion.

You have to play the MU like a ****ing *****. Pick a stage with platforms so you can get the % lead & camp him out. If he mulitjaws you on shield maybe shield DI away from him then Ftilt? If you can grab him, Uthrow him then try to get behind him since he has no option outside counter that can cover that area. Ban FD always, though it does make juggling him much easier if you do get the grab.

Don't use DF ever lol

Ok thank you I try to use the Nayru's Love offstage to throw him away. It sometimes gets me hit really hard.
