@Rickster Alright here's my thoughts on the new 3ds:
First the buttons and build don't feel as cheap. They feel solid. The design of taking the back off to put the micro sd in is kinda odd but should really only be a problem if you keep switching cards. The 3D is great, I can see myself actually using it now. On my older 3ds the image would kinda "split" and I could never position myself so that the image is clear, and it seems they've improved on that matter. It especially helps with the eye tracking 3d, it doesn't feel as strict.
As far as smash is concerned, the c-stick is a bit weird, and it doesn't move at all. It's a stationary nub that registers an input with pressure. When I used it the first few times I didn't think I'd use it, but after playing with it a bit I can see it's uses. The ZR and ZL buttons seem useless at least for me, because they're uncomfortable to reach for because of their placement. That's just me though. As far as performance goes it seems the same. The only difference i see is when on the older 3ds you might have intensive moments, (explosions, 4 people with items, stages etc.) That would lag a bit, but with the New 3ds it won't lag, at least as much.
Is it worth the upgrade? If you want to use 3d, yes. If your 3ds is aging then yes. If you want new 3ds exclusive games, then yes. The c-stick, even though I use it a lot on the gc controller, isn't a selling point for me. I'll definitely use it, but if you have an ordinary 3ds, you aren't missing out that much. Quite honestly, if the new 3ds didn't have a majoras mask edition, I wouldn't have bought it. However, if you're looking for extra goodies for your 3ds, it's really great.

yes, you can turn it off@Shrokatii Can you turn the 3D face-tracking thing off? Because I tried it at Target and it was terrible. It could've been because Target has people everywhere, but I want to know if the option is there.

i already had the improved screen size, as my previous 3ds was just a normal xl. however, when i upgraded to the xl from the original small 3ds, i liked it MUCH more
amiibos i dont really care about personally, but its cool to play around with if youre bored
faster loading times are obviously good, but i wouldnt see it as a selling point for me
i dont post to miiverse either so lol

Actually Binding of Isaac is exclusive to New 3DS too so there's two exclusives! :D That's not really a selling point though.
I'd like the C-stick more if you could configure it to tilts and specials :v

Ahh yeah. Seems fun ^-^ I remember people would do that in the brawl days and find eachother constantly xD I wish Nintendo would just allow separate consoles to team up and do FG. I mean you can just do dubz if you find 4 people, but i only have like 2.5 friends. :<
