That he's doing a "clone's" move. Still, not a lot of characters have a front kick for a move. Front kicks are easy, common, and have a lot of utility from pushing people back, catching them, and outright breaking their ribs. Then come roundhouses which are pretty simple, especially low roundhouses; tripping, catching, and pure damage. After that, stuff like flip kicks, whip kicks, flying kicks, the scorpion kick Fox does, and even side kicks like what ZSS does for the second part of her Side Smash or Ryu's Joudan Sokutogeri are more "limited". At least it gives the theme of Captain Falcon's flashy and powerful vs. Ganondorf's simple and powerful.

The only characters who do front kicks either high or more horizontal are Ganondorf with Ftilt, Dtilt, and Up Smash, Ike with his jab 2 and F-throw, (Dr.) Mario with his jab 3, and Lucario with Fair. That's 4 characters and 8 moves using a front kick. If we had Wolf, it would have been 5 characters and 10 moves since Wolf does something close to a front kick for both Utilt and Dtilt. Also wished someone had Fox's Utilt, a cool whip kick upwards... Okay, that looks more natural than Snake's Utilt which is this lean to the side and basically do a standing split. Fantastic, Ganondorf and Snake were the original Wii Fit Trainers and they're both burly, manly men.

In case anyone hasn't guessed, I like martial arts.
