So during hitstun, you can hold a direction and AT THE FIRST MOMENT you go into the tumbling animation, activate Nayru's Love. You will get boosted in that direction.
I'm pretty sure all of you heard of the "Love Jump" in this game but that used a double jump then Nayru's after hitstun. Not sure if you gorls already know that you DON'T NEED your double jump to do the Sm4sh version of Love Jump. It doesn't go as far as the double jump using Love Jump, BUT at the very least you save your double jump in case you do need it at the cost of a MINOR decrease in distance traveled. Might be one of our better retreat options actually.
You can also B-reverse for incredible shenanigans, I highly suggest trying this out.
EDIT: Now thinking about this, this would be VERY useful to relieve aerial pressure if you're knocked above your opponent. Love Jump w/ Double Jump does the same thing but for Zelda you'd definitely would want to grab on the ledge rather than land on solid footing. Saving your double jump WHILE boosting yourself to the ledge can really help you mix up your defensive options wow.
