First reaction to Ryu:
Oh my god... Shoryu really is up-B. I'm going to have so much fun with this. He looks like he can't drift very far after he uses it, so it's probably a terrible recovery. He's a lot more mobile than I thought he'd be, while his throws are what I thought they'd be. His fsmash and usmash are kinda dumb. Dsmash only hits in front of him, which makes sense coming from a 2D fighter, but is interesting in this game. It might be safe on block because of damage, but it won't shield poke (leg too muscly) and it's not like ZSS' dsmash with a quick cooldown. Utilt, I think, is the overhead so he has bad anti-air outside of shoryuken.

His jab is an elbow... that doesn't go into a jab2 which is a nice homage to SF. Jab>dtilt>Tatsumaki is probably a thing as is jab>Shoryu or Jab>Ftilt>Hado. Speaking of ftilt, that thing is scary fast for the amount of range it has. Dtilt is also fast, but less range than expected.

Having a sex kick is so good in this game... That will be really nice. BAir looks kinda weak, but fast and FAir looks like Mac's NAir in that it should combo/link into his ground moves. FAir>jab>dtilt>Tatsumaki YUM. Didn't see his uair/dair.

THAT SAID, his jab is too high to jab lock, so he won't have footstool shenanigans unless he can lock with an aerial. INSTANT LOW TIER.

He also loses to cross ups, but at least he doesn't have to deal with vortexes and can block behind him because Smash.

If they nerf MegaMan's shoryu to be that weak, I'll cry. Utilt kills Rosalinda at ~75% no rage.

Still, 100-110% OoS kill move with likely transcendent and invincibility... God damn.

GGs! Tuna dittos are fun lol. I use it as an anti-air, juggler, to punish airdodges, and kill setups (jab x1-3 > Celestial Fireworks, close range Superspeed > short hop Celestial Fireworks or jump cancelled Celestial Fireworks, Superspeed from far away > full hop Celestial Fireworks)

Yeah, sounds like a very viable kill option. Unless they can block it easily. Then the other option would be Focus Attack, since that seems like it can be a shield breaker, since that move was unblockable in SFIV too. Plus armour, seems very scary. Unless they Jump, Air Dodge, Roll or Perfect Shield. Were there any strong enough moves to prevent armour back in SFIV? I feel like Smash Attacks will probably be the biggest enemy to Ryu's FA.

They'll probably save for CEO 2015. Since that's the big tournament for Street Fighter and other fighting games.

GUYS HELP I'm playing a Captain Falcon on FG and here's how the match went
- Started off by accidentally Back Slashing instead of running and changing Monado Arts
- Dthrows me and tries to dair
-SDs
-Second stock
-Dthrows, tries to dair, and SDs again

I can imagine Roll Glory having everywhere camping and spamming hadouken and using side b instead of up b salt .

I remember back in the Melee days how newbs would pick Roy and spam neutral b like crazy.

Expect the same thing to happen on 4 Glory.
