The more I hear about something, the more my hype for it dies down. The more demos/clips and info are shown, the less interested I get. There's a reason why I loved Frozen, Xenoblade and AoT so much. Because I went into those without knowing **** about 'em.

Xenoblade X got to the point where I knew too much. I should have done what one of the Shulk boarders did and shut myself from any trailer or info revealed. There are some exceptions though. Like Smash or any fighting game in general because I actually need to know info about the fighting mechanics

This doesn't mean that I'll skip Xenoblade X. I'll just wait for the critics and my friends and you guys to buy the game and tell me if it's good or not. I do this all the time, and this is also why I never day 1 bought any game.... Except Smash 4 and Mario Galaxy 2

Yeah, I've had a strict no spoilers policy for a long time now. I try to avoid lots of unofficial things that I can. Like I will watch the Xenoblade X directs, but nothing else.

And I'm so much happier for it. Sure, it may be stressful, but getting to those final bosses and seeing those ending myself is usually always worth it. Splatoon being a perfect example.

I think it's for extra grab damage right? also you can screw with recoveries pretty well if you jump after them (Diddy Kong)
