Pilotwings and Mario Circuit are pretty BS too idk why people are petitioning for those stages to be legal where the stage itself can deal 20% to you and kill you.

The Pro Controller is the one I use and really, I feel like the GC Adapter is not worth it until Nintendo makes more games compatible with it.

honestly I never saw L cancelling as a bad thing. I always thought the window for it was too small and lol auto L cancels in 64, but it never felt/looked physically broken
unlike wavedashing which looked jank as hell, but certain characters in melee really needed it

Also, pro controller allows you to have a special trigger for your MA stuff, a jump trigger for OoS stuff and maintain your shield and grab triggers. (The triggers are also better/more responsive IMO)

And pro controllers work for more than just smash.


Edit: forgot. Mario circuit is amazing. How are you dying at 20% to that stage?

You guys may have a point. In terms of money, I'm better off sticking to the Wii U pro controller. For the sake of bias and feels, I'd go for the GC controller. I may use the Wii U pro controller in the long run especially since they don't ban the use of it in tournaments anyway (in my scene at least). Plus, transferring from Pro to GC vice versa isn't hard at all.

Also, it seems like I've missed out on the customs/2 stock hate train pages ago. Dammit

gc actually makes all tech easier and I've used both for a considerable time
GC controller's buttons pop easier, they don't stick what so ever. So any tight inputs become easier to do, secondly the left stick is at least 2 times less sensitive.

both have their notes about them. but for me it's easier to do spinshots, and instant spin dash jumps. So it's worth my time

Refurbished is used/sold and then returned. Usually I'd be cautious, but when something is refurbished by the manufacturer, they basically make it new again. My Wii u works great as does the other people I know who got the deal.

Really though, I like Halberd and Delfino a lot but I also find their legality questionable. The ceilings on Halberd are extremely stupid and give some characters guaranteed kills off of a grab at 0% like r u srs??? Delfino I'm more okay with since you just have to be careful with the walk offs/horizontal blastzones and the low ceilings only last a few seconds. I still don't know what to think of its legality tho. I'm okay with Wuhu, none of the transitions are too crazy.
