I'm way more excited for Lucas than I thought I'd be. I used him a little bit in Brawl, but I much preferred Brawl Ness over Lucas. (I actually saw Ness as the male equivalent to Zelda in Brawl because of his PSI being kinda close to magic and his sweetspot bair. I hate Ness in Smash 4, though). When Lucas was announced, I was mostly indifferent, but I did have some fun with him in Brawl. Now, I'm pretty anxious for him to come back and I can't wait to use him. He'll probably be added to my ever-growing list of characters I use for fun.

I'm still focusing 99% on my effort on Shulk but I've been more relaxed lately. Been tinkering around with Fox and Mario again. Despite budgeting almost no time into them, they still seem fine. I think I can finally feel free to take a break from Shulk. The reason why I'm usually hesitant to stop training my Shulk is because I feel as if I need to constantly train with him and if I relax for a minute, I'll get worse. I don't think I'm feeling this anymore since I feel like I'm already used to how his moves work, where his hitboxes will appear, when to use them, how to time MALLC, how to use the arts, etc. etc. It's a lot to get used to. I still don't feel that I've overcome Shulk's steep learning curve but whatever. That's what makes him interesting

I'm excited for Lucas because the game mechanics looks like they'll be nice to him this time. His tether recovery is a lot bigger now and the new ledge mechanics means he can gimp a character with ledge trump -> B-Air pretty easily.

I'm not really expecting him to be top tier but I'm hoping he gets to high mid.

I might have to go back and budget 100% of my time for Shulk again. I love Mega Man but constant practice with Shulk is a must. My bad if I can't follow the deal

I actually really like using Ness in this game but every time I use his recovery I pray for a perfect angle ughh it's terrifying. I'm kinda looking forward to Lucas as well, moreso than Mewtwo that's for sure.

He loses to everyone because his neutral is garbage,he gets outranged(very important despite Mario being high tier but Mk sucks) by everyone so of course he can't approach.

He has horrible landing lag and weak combos and no follow ups. I suggest you use Falcon, he's a rare character with alot of potential.

The trade off is worth it though.

I did the same but still secretly main Zelda right there along with Peach.
I view them as sisters/bffs since Daisy isn't in (Yet).
Zelda is the gorl that always needs saving and her big sis Peach is always there to defend her Rushdown Turtle of a sister.

Cuz you know, they're on each other's team

But yeah, sorry I've put Zelda to the back burner lately Peach is just way more rewarding.
