It's not that I have anything against picking up another character it's just that I can barely play her. Like I'll try to do a float cancelled nair OOS and instead end up doing a down air and taking an fsmash to the face. Every single time. smh

Yeah I can imagine the frustration.

was one of many characters I used in Melee so I understand the pain/frustration and reward of float cancel combos.

Then again there's always off stage side b's so there are worse things if nothing else.

ZSS was so much cooler in Brawl. Glide Tossing the Power Suit Pieces was fun and her side b being a kill move was lol. Bair was stupidly strong, too. Spiking with her up b was one of the trolliest things possible. Down smash also paralyzed for a ton longer. Down tilt had a lot better angle for follow ups.

She was also buffed a lot in Smash 4? Like, her grab is less laggy and her dash speed and her air speed were buffed. Boost kick is fun to kill with, but I actually liked her old up b better. And I'm still lamenting

's removal. ZSS's palettes in Sm4sh aren't even close to how good

was. why do i get so attached to palettes? and it's always the ones they remove, too. maybe i'll make a list of all the palettes i loved but they removed.

Float canceling was removed in the transition from Melee to Brawl, fyi. It'd just be a floated nair oos.

Well it's not float cancelling...I just didn't know exactly what to call it. It's when you float and do an aerial and then quickly stop floating so it comes out really fast. Btw I miss Brawl ZSS a ton too. She was my secondary in Brawl and she's not even close to fun in this game ;_;

Seems like I badly sprained my elbow or something while working out yesterday. Typing with one hand ATM, the other has like this huge bruise on the elbow I'm not even sure how I got whoops.

also Smash 4 ZSS >>> Brawl ZSS in my opinion. Flip Jump and Boost Kick are so much more fun in this game it's impossible for me to go back

I've been playing a lot of Brawl because I needed a break from Smash 4 and there are a ton of characters that were so fun. were all unique in their own way and I always have a good time playing them. I would love to have Brawl in Smash 4, but that'd never happen because Sakutena hates us. make me want to die, though.

I liked the old forward smash more because it was disjointed and it was a single hit move so no whiffs to worry about.

My favorite color is the Metroid Prime 2/deep blue one so I got lucky there at least.

I'd get rid of the new white one and put the old purple one in it's place.

I would love to have Brawl in Smash 4, but that'd never happen because Sakutena hates us.

If was in SSB4 I'd actually main her tbh. I messed around with Sheik in Brawl (never seriously picked her up though) and she was so much fun. Sheilda might have actually worked in this game since as of 1.06 Sheik only has Bouncing Fish to reliably kill (Transform would get rid of that) and Zelda is slightly better than in Brawl so they might have actually balanced eachother out instead of Sheik always being 10x better. Of course Sheilda's not in the only game where it might have worked

I also miss:
- : The best designed Zelda imo. It's just that the mechanics screwed her over and there were so many other characters that just invalidated her.
-: Suit pieces, stupidy strong uair and bair, trolly up b spikes, longer paralyzer duration, making someone feel like a mess if you killed them with fsmash
- : RIP MISSILE CANCELS >_>

Palettes I loved but were removed (or changed):

Some of these are on here twice (like Fox's blue palette and Link's white palette), but idk. For the ones that are in Smash 4 (Peach's Daisy palette, blonde Zelda, etc.), I think they looked better in a previous smash game and they should be changed to look like that.

Purple Zelda from Melee needs to come back, as does blonde Zelda from Brawl.

is life. She's easily my favorite character to play in any Smash game. It felt so rewarding to hit those sweetspots (FREEZE FRAMES!!), and win with such an awful character. As I've said before, I don't think I can every really get over the fact that Zelda got nerfed in Smash 4.

's fsmash was so bad but it was so funny. Like, she savagely whips people with her stupid little plasma gun thing. With all these whips, one might think ZSS is actually a dominatrix. :^)

I barely played , but she was cool. Killing with her was a bit of a pain, though. is probably my favorite Samus.

Gorl, try out if you like . really struggles with killing, but she's way more fun to play. The pressure you can put on your opponent is amazing and glide tossing turnips is really fun. She's even more difficult to use, though.

Omg Brawl Zelda is my favorite character ever too. I loved the freeze frames because they were so dramatic LOL. Like if you hit someone with them the game would just pause for a second as your opponent has to accept their death :^)

I think ZSS' fsmash was my favorite move. She puts so much effort into thrusting her whip and makes the weirdest groan ever LOL. Not to mention killing with it made people feel horrible. I also liked it bc there was one super tiny hitbox that actually hit really strong (killed at like 90%) but the famous weak one overlapped it nearly always, but hitting with the strong one felt amazing. Oh and she totally is a dominatrix. #You'reMine :^)

I used Brawl Peach a lot! For some reason I picked her up really quickly in Brawl and had no problem using her but in this game it's just a disaster. Maybe I'm just not putting enough effort in bc I'm still not positive if I really wanna pick her up or not, so I don't really try that hard at getting better with her.

For anyone wants to know why I dropped Smash 4 Zelda here's the reason why:

Played Brawl yesterday thanks to a rant based @ Lorde went on yesterday.

First thing I did: I immediately used Wolf.

Loads of fun. More fun with him than anyone in 4 (and Brawl) by miles you can't even imagine.

Now I really need him back.

Tried Zelda for a round to see how she played in Brawl compared to this game.

Never again will I ever use her in 4 again.

Farore's Elevator can go to the bottom floor known as hell for all I care.

Up smash, less LK landing and ending lag, better Din's (still bad though) old down throw, and up tilt kills among other reasons turned me away from Smash 4 Zelda forever.
But I think the biggest thing is thatplays pretty similar to , and I LOVE using .

Down B never tempted me in the slightest.
Mind you, I still don't like/care for Brawl's engine/mechanics and will always be the only character I like in that game, but I'd be lying if I said was more fun thaneven though Smash 4 has a better game engine.

Also it was nice to edge hog again. I need that back too even though it will never happen.
