i'm just joking with you
I never had any pet fish, my mom and sister were always into birds instead. We had a lot of them, we started with three, one died pretty suddenly, the second flew away and the third lasted until we moved to where I currently am, but then when my mother wasn't looking he was caught by a cat.
Then we got a cockatiel and then another because my mom thought the first one was feeling lonely, we usually left them roaming around the living room but unfortunately when we were coming back home from a small trip to the shopping at night, my sister wasn't looking at where she was going in the living room without turning on the light and accidentally stepped on one of them. It didn't die right away and my mom tried her best to save the poor thing but it eventually passed away, my sister was pretty much devastated and cried a lot during that period.
I'm a dog person myself, only had one dog that I had with me since I was 5, he died about two years ago because he was too weak to even move anymore so we had to put him down so we wouldn't suffer anymore. Since the first thing I saw every time I came back from school was him and he was always a really gentle dog, coming back home the day after and see my yard completely empty really stung.
