So. This patch was pretty good. Not the best that could happen, but it certainly helped.

Mewtwo is added is also amazing. Can't wait to see more of him.

I put the mewtwo code in but he's not on my roster, smh.

Not bothered cuz he doesn't really peak my interest, played a few he has nice combos im jealous of his damage per hit. But he's tall and light....gg.

If Polio has changed, I can't tell. Leaf shield might have changed as a projectile based on rough testing, but it's very minor.

So side b is useable? Thats good to hear. It is a pretty awesome looking side b. :)
Did more testing, if they don't tech. You can combo into DSmash, DAir, Dash Attack and Jab and Neutral B.

You can also combo into FAir, UTilt, DTilt.

Also, his BAir has a sourspot on the tip and a sweetspot in the middle of his tail.

Edit: I managed to combo Side-B into Up Smash for 25%. Not bad. (But it seems like it's techable.)

I really wish people would stop posting false info everywhere. Zelda's aerials are exactly the same. Not faster, not slower, not more or less powerful. End lag and frame data remained the same. Period. The only thing that seems to have changed is F-smash (and maybe U-smash also, can't really tell) and even that is questionable. It definitely seems to hold grounded opponents better, but aerial opponents still fall out of it very easily. I posted a video showing this on the last page but I will post it again.


I recorded zelda's frame data before the patch because I knew people would try to bring up things they "feel" have changed. Spreading false info is not helping anyone.

FAir scares the **** out of me. That comes out super fast and it probably hits decently hard.

Does mewtwo's up throw kill?

With no rage it kills at around 130 - 140%.
With rage it kills at around 122%

Edit: Mewtwo's B-Throw can kill at around 105% if near the edge of the stage.

That is good for an up throw. Especially now that Rob's up throw got nerfed, it might be the strongest up throw.

@ Locke 06 Locke 06 if I can run in and up smash you and it connects, you're using a tall character.
I expected Mewtwo to be Rosalina or Ganondorf height.

On an aside: NAir looks super sexy, especially out of airdodging.

Depends really. Heck, I'm using Sheik as my Punching Bag, so she'll get ko'd by Mewtwo's U-Throw by that percent.

It's B-Throw seems decent to getting the kill if you're near the edge.

Edit: Just found out Mewtwo's Side-B gives him some extra height after a jump.

Speaking of rosalina, mewtwo lighter than her meaning MK is now the 10th lightest. Dtilt popped mewtwo off the ground at 94% no rage.

That explains why he dies so early.

:4zelda:'s f-smash consistently connects on ZSS, so I guess f-smash connects properly now
Fsmash seems to have bigger hitboxes, and connect more often
Upsmash seems to have a better hitbox too
Bthrow now seems to kill a little sooner
Dthrow combo into stuff way longer

I'll wait for people to officially confirm the throw changes and Usmash thing, because besides Fsmash being slightly more reliable, Zelda feels totally unchanged to me.

0% down throw is still impossible to land a sweetspot bair on robin as a true combo. Starts true comboing at 30% which was the same % it did before the update. Don't think down throw combo potential was changed any. I honestly don't remember back throws kill percent before update so I can't say on that one.

Edit: I got a sweet spotted bair to land once. Maybe knockback was slightly lowered? It feels exactly the same to me tbh.

So maybe someone here is knowledgeable about charged attacks, because on my 3DS with the last patch, Zelda's fully charged Fsmash does 26% consistently to Bowser Jr. I go to the WiiU and it kept doing 21% to him. I tried ZSS and it did 23% to her.

I have no idea how I am getting the inconsistency, but I do know that it looks like they don't do as much damage. This is overall minor, but maybe I am doing something wrong.

EDIT: I'm getting 23% on Kirby and I'm moving through, so I dunno what that was about. It could have been the stage being slightly angled.

EDIT 2: Nevermind, I guess BJr takes more damage to himself personally than if you hit his vehicle... dunno if that was always a thing. Derp.

Just tested Mewtwo's Side-B again, and it seems like you can Air-Dodge or Jump away or attack after you've been caught in it. So it seems to have some combo potential, but it's easily escapable.

There is a damage buff/nerf on Bowser jr depending of if you hit the monster/car
The patch may affect hitbox/hurtox places

well looks like im going to be playing diddy a bit more. still seems good and viable to me, and since hoo-hahs insane kill potential is pretty much gone, (though he still has range) i dont think he is really op anymore... but ill have to play him to see

Diddy's definitely not OP as he can't kill reliably anymore, but he's still a huge threat with his ground control, fast attacks, huge disjoints and combos at low-mid-highish percentages.

Did some testing on the reflecting of Mewtwo's Side-B. (God, I'm giving his Side-B alot of love today.)

A reflected Shadow ball (Fully Charged) can KO at around 70% at the edge of BF.

Edit: Can someone test to see if Mewtwo can reflect Pac-Man's Down-B? Also, his Side-B is a good recovery tool, kinda like Marth's Dancing Blade and Mario's Cape.

Diddy's infamous setups got nerfed to the ground.

F-air, U-air, D-throw, and U-throw got damage nerfs (which results in Knockback nerfs).

Everything about him seems relatively the same.

Sonic's kill throws got INSANELY nerfed.

B-throw doesn't kill until 150% vs Mario no DI (with DI it's at least 160%)
F-throw and U-throw doesn't until 190%

Yep, now I see this.

However it does reinforce that I'm doing 26% (displayed) in training 3DS on the old patch to most characters and only 23% to characters on patched WiiU.

I guess they lowered the damage on the earlier hitboxes of Fsmash slightly to give it more consistency?
