It's just... Egh... Mega Man, Villager, Sonic, and Duck Hunt dittos seem like the worst things that could happen. Everything is all right - just a mirror match. Then you have the wacky, fun dittos like Ganondorf and Captain Falcon dittos.

Sometimes I still wonder why the heck he was my main. Absolutely trash.

I described it before. That actually wasn't a joke.

At the top level where it's actually fun, because the players have their fundamentals down so well that they can they can play a riskier, read-based game. Otherwise, it's literally a frame data match-up. The most defensive Mario wins since Mario can counterattack himself so well.

I just never saw it in action since I don't use Mario, but Dr. Mario and Dr. Mario vs. Mario isn't exactly a ditto unlike Pit vs. Dark Pit.

I forgot Villagers can juggle with Trees and stuff, but if they both go on the defensive and camp by their Trees... Dear lord that would be hell. Literal camping. All they would need to do is plop down a campfire and start roasting marshmallows while sitting by their Trees.

I just never saw it in action since I don't use Mario, but Dr. Mario and Dr. Mario vs. Mario isn't exactly a ditto unlike Pit vs. Dark Pit.

Dr. Mario vs Mario works similarly but only in neutral. You have a faster, more combo-based Mario and you have a naturally defensive, high damaging Mario that can swiftly catch up in damage with good hard reads. That dynamic alone makes the match more entertaining.

From what I know, like 90% of Mario mains hate the ditto MU.

Good Villagers are never campy and if one is then they should know their opponent is a master at anti zone

I'm imagining what would happen if there were 2 ADHDs who did the Explosive Balloon Trip camping and who people would react while they had a ditto and I'm also wondering what would happen if ADHD EBT camped, but fought against a really good Villager and how people would react.

Vil vs Vil is basically pocket city. You can't really camp anything out because the other will take it as his own. And it's not only trees, it's bowling balls, pellets and plant pots too. AND EVERYTHING KILLS.

Once someone figures out how to Pocket a Pocket, they'll be read to solve division by ZeRo.

I only like playing Dittos vs XeroXen. I want his risky method of play instead of having to play the optimal bait 'n punish game.

Kinda late to the discussion but SB mobile is actually the devil so I couldn't post my thoughts

what I REALLY miss from Brawl is Zelda. Tbh I think that was the most well designed version of her. The mechanics and some MU's though were just...yuck, which is what made her bad. I think if she were ported over to this game with better mechanics she'd be a very good character

Moves I miss the most:
- Utilt. Literally killing your opponents as you say goodbye to them. Plus people had like no idea this move existed unless they played Zelda LOL
- Dtilt. Locking was so ridiculous.
- Usmash. Smash 4 usmash is more of a taunt than a move
- Dsmash. That semispike was amazing
- Uair. An aerial with no sweetspot that doesn't take forever to come out and kills at 70%? I miss this move soooo much.
- Brawl LK's. Autocancelling from a SH was beautiful

how much anyone likes a ditto comes down to how much you like a character, Personally I like sonic and zelda dittos

I think they're fun. Mindgames with arts and stuff, although stuff does get boring once everyone figures out that Speed and Buster are the only good arts in ditto (Jump is hard-countered by Buster, Smash by Shield, and Shield by anything that's not Smash)

Brawl Rosalina was just terrible. Too many laggy moves and the fact that people could break out of hitstun so easily made it hard to follow up with anything. And don't even get me started on brawl Villager...

What the hell? Project M theme is like some Ratchet & Clank ****. Smashboards Sapphire matches my avatar while Cobalt's a bit to dark.

Ruby and Garnet make me feel bloody and more of a red tyrant than usual. Emerald and Malachite makes me feel like I'm doing some old school, sci-fi hacking stuff... Sugillate's not my kind of shade of purple and I don't care for Amethyst. Topaz is like a lighter Smashboards Dark and Tourmaline is just weird. Onyx is literally make this place even greyer. As Smashboards White... MY EYES!!!

Welp, going to stick with Sapphire and see how it goes; I might go back to Smashboards Dark.

Edit: Wow, premium members and regular members look similar. Also, it's a slow day isn't it? People are just waiting for that patch... Or 'cause it's Monday.

All spoilers are open until the JavaScript handling the opening and closing of them has loaded. This usually takes a second or so after the page has begun loading, depending on connection speed. It happens to everyone, and unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about it.

I switch between the Sugilite and Project M themes, but find myself sticking with Sugilite since Purple is my favorite color and I like using various shades of purple whenever I can.
