Agreed. I played that game at a friends a few weeks ago for about five minuets, then thought to myself "this game kind of sucks." Nostalgia is like being drunk in the same way that it makes you say really stupid things.The original Zelda's quality is completely based off nostalgia. If you seriously enjoy it more than something like The Windwaker or Twilight Princess I have trouble believing you aren't a fanboy blinded by nostalgia.
One of my old favorites is Spyro The Dragon for the PlayStation. But I'm not calling it a super special awesome godsend. Come on, most of the levels were so short that you could fly through them in little over a minuet, Spyro's voice actor needed to make his balls drop. With pliers if necessary, and lets not forget that the game was easier than Bioshock! I could go on, but I think you get my point.
