Finding that Majora's Wrath/Fierce Deity picture makes me want a return to that world. I love how in the end, the final battle is hardly personal on either end. It becomes something bigger and cosmic, two ancient Gods/spirits battling out. It made the game world feel much more epic than any of the other ones, IMO.

Which brings me to actually ask a story question. Is the Fierce Deity ending canon? Will it ever matter?

You got a different ending if you beat the game as the Fierce Deity? I didn't know that.

I'd really love for Nintendo to return to the forlorn lands of Termina. I want to explore that place and unravel more of it's dark secrets. There's just so much there that I want to know more about. Like who exactly is/was the Fierce Deity? Who was the clan that made the mask? Who was Majora? Find out next time, on Dragonball Z!

EDIT: Actually the bonus chapter in the manga does give some answers if you accept them as cannon.

It doesn't change, and technically, since all items in Zelda games are canon (save the Master Sword's appearance in the oracles, which is debatable), it should be considered canon. What's non-canon is when Link does not obtain every possible item.

Then again, you could look at the definition of canon being 'minimal and only those necessary' in regards to items, since it's those that drive the story. Though in the case of Fierce Deity, the mask is so epic and serves a specific purpose that it could be an exception. Unlike the non-transformational masks in the menu, it has a little slab for it to rest on, indicating its speciality.

This is pretty sweet. It looks like the moon's face is a little too small though. Love the coloring/lighting though.

The first one yes, but the second one was by a friend. xD I asked her to draw me in the school girl outfit and the Majora's Mask and this is what I got. O:

I have tons and tons of paper filled with Majora's Mask. I've memorized how to draw it, but I never really draw it in the right shape. ; 3; Instead of the eyes looking pretty creepy they just look normal. I'll draw it now and post it when I'm done.
