Well, he's not too good against spacies, but any other matchups are fun.

his worst matchups are these in this order

falco
sheik
fox

everything else is pretty doable, and i believe he hard counters any floaties. falcon and marth are pretty difficult if they stay close, but if you can maintain a certain range using bombs, you can estabish enough momentum to take an entire stock

a really important set will be going up soon, where i gain a 2-0 lead vs a falco but he adapts and ends up winning 3-2 and 3-stocking me in the last match

i might need some help on that one

can falco's laser ever be beat out by any character? ive never tried to lol

also, cant you do something like up angled 'rang -> arrow -> bomb throw -> grab -> combo against falco / fox?

haha you can't really plan those that far

but yes i'm sure variations like that can be done

except grabs usually cannot happen after hitting them with a bomb unless they are at low % or you're doing a tech chase

YL's worst matchups imo are:

1. Old link. YL has a mental block against that guy.
2. Kirby after eating Link's ability.
3. Marth (he has a bigger sword, and his hair is cuter).

even if that post was meant to be humorous, old link does have a pretty good matchup vs young link. young link basically has to run away as much as possible, he can only get in after successfully landing a projectile

it's hard to ko any character with ylink

takes very specific bomb dair setups, or just keep hitting them till they die at 175+

It's funny when the first hit of d-smash doesn't connect, but the second hit does (since a little bit of its hitbox hits in front of YL).

yeah 2nd hit of dsmash is amazing LOL. i've gotten plenty of kills with it, and i never intend it. it's like marth and falcon's dsmash. you intend to hit with the front, but if the back hits, then it's a-ok
