When Lucas used a forward smash, I took out Toad but what ended up happening was Lucas' stick reflected Toad's spores and I ended up taking all the damage!

What! Really?
I (/we all) know that Lucas`s forward smash initiates pretty quickly.
However, I would have thought that because it initiates so quickly, it would end just as quickly just as well.
Play by play;
Lucas f:smashes > Peach pulls out Toad > Toad sprays out spores > Lucas`s f:smash is still in it`s animation and reflects back the spores . . .
I`m going to test this out right now.​

I don't know if you people recall, but Mario was able to do it in Melee too with his cape. I don't know about now, but I mean come on, a stick beats toad. >.>

Pit's Angel Ring is worse, if you try to use toad on that you get the damage from both

I've read about the Ness thing on Brawl Central, but I didn't know Lucas and Pit can foil her Toad, too!

Toad also sucks against Nayru's Love... my suggestion is to not use Toad against attacks that reflect projectiles... I don't see WHY Peach isn't just invinceble throughout the whole move... but whatever I guess, it's still better than it was in Melee. =/

Yeah I mean Toad is better but he still can't go against those attacks. Sucks man. I'm one of those type of players that likes to surprise my opponents with Toad but it's like now I have to know there's a chance the spores can be sent back. Use at your own risk!
