FOW is pretty good, i totally forgot about him. I saw him play at evo and he was definitely one of the better Ness's ive seen. I dont think he could bring Ness up 5 spots tho

Well, getting back to YOSHI, I'd like to bring up a question:
If any of you agree with Gimpy's blog, being that Yoshi can go up some places on the tier list, what do you think that Yoshi players need to greatly improve on to up our metagame and get Yoshi to where you all want him?

Offensive capability, a good shield pressure game, and better egg camping. We need to implement those crazy wavebounced eggs more.

On the whole, we just need to become better players and master what we already have, and Yoshi will probably see a rise. After that, we'll need to work on our defensive game, mainly on how to work with our shield, more kill set ups, and breaking certain MUs.

Ive said this for a very long time, its still my belief.
If you think something is viable, go ahead and prove it. If you wanna suggest certain applications k but like dont say yoshis as a whole need to do this and this and this.
The only thing holding yoshi back is that we have few high level yoshi players.

Socks, I'm not trying to say that all the new tricks are viable, just that we should master our basics, like Egg Lay shenanigans, approaches, etc., and Yoshi would probably go up. You say it yourself, there are few high level Yoshis and I doubt that even our current high level Yoshis are perfect. I believe Yoshi is capable of being viewed as much better than he currently is.

There are literally no amazing yoshi players imo, and if people would focus on developing themselves as players rather than just trying to master all of yoshis shenanigans, we would be much better off. Of course, many of them are vital to yoshis game, but like dont focus primarily on mastering DR down tilt from the ledge u no.

No, 4GOD is a much more solid player than Alby right now. 4GOD went from being 2 stocked by me constantly (in november @ Halloween Bash) to winning the majority of the friendlies against me. He proved the fact that Yoshi cannot do anything to someone that's hardcore camping them. Even then, all it takes is for someone to get at medium distance and then Yoshi is either gonna attempt to attack and get grabbed, or run away till he can create the spacing again. Alby is a good player, but I would've slapped yo *** if you loss.Bigz, all I gotz to say is that those pools are lucky they didn't start earlier!
I think Albino still would've gotten me, though. D:

It seems like Yoshi didn't even go up... It seems like he went down and more characters went up and down around him then just Yoshi going up himself. But as far as ranks go, Yoshi went up. I personally still think Yoshi should have gone up a bit more then he did though. Not too much further up, but still a it further than he did. Imo.
