Any estimate on how many people are going to be entering the SSB 64 tourney and what the expected payouts are going to be? Trying to convince more people in my area to come to this tourney but we'd like to know how many entries there will be.

Also, n64 isn't going to be run at the same time as the melee tourney, right?

im pretty sure that if the turnout is gonna be as big as expected, there wont be time for 64.

I'm staying optimistic - a lot of people want this n64 tourney to happen.

We have 10 hours, and we've actually reserved another room across the hall in case things get too crowded.

If all goes according to plan, the n64 tourney will be held right after melee 2v2 and 1v1's, I'm unsure if we'll give priority to crew battles yet...

when will you know 100% if there is going to be an n64 tourney or not? It's kind of vital to me actually being there

We fully intend on having one, that's all I can say.

The only reason we wouldn't is if we somehow ran out of time.

With ample space, TV's, etc. and 10 hours, we SHOULD be able to fit everything in.

Thats not true - a lot of the WWU people (probably more so than melee) are in it for n64. And you'll all compete in it too...I reckon...

haha, all my friends know that i play enough video games as it is, and if they were to find out that i dodged senior prom for a smash brother fest, i would probably get slapped lol. Once i graduate from high school, which isnt too far away, im gonna start going to as many events as i can. I just wanna locate more players on that global smash compendium, that thing is great, but i know that there are a lot more washington players than what i see, hopefully more people will join the band wagon -_-
