Wow I just played melee again, it is WAY better!

:laugh:I know what you're thinking, another noob who just played brawl for five minutes and just wants to vent out his complaints... Well I'm not that noob. I unlocked the full character roster and played countless battles on brawl wifi--sure it was fun, but it just wasn't great. So me and my friend tried to start playing melee again, and WOW. It was so thrilling, the speed was intense, and I could play WAAAAAY better than in brawl. In brawl I was just your top player, I couldn't ****--I was just good. But in melee I could just totally **** again.

I'm thinking on not playing that 50$ waste of money anymore. Seriously though, they will find more advanced things, but it will never be the full throttle that melee ever was. Sorry sakurai, you just downgraded the best game I have played in my life. Peace out, sticking with melee. :laugh:

So what you're telling me is...while I twist your words around...because you're not as good at the game in Brawl as you are in Melee, that's your shallow little excuse for finding the past game better.

Sorry, but that is a hollow reason for going back to Melee. Go back to Melee because of factors that you missed and the atmosphere provided. Not because you couldn't own it up in Brawl so now you need to secure that little bit of masculinity by sticking to something you know.

Think harder next time. I won't stop you, you are entitled to your opinion, but if you give up on Brawl because you're not as good as you were in Melee, then you lose. Good day, sir.

Brawl hasn't really been out long enough for anyone to really get a feel for it and get used to it. What it sounds like to me is that you went out and tried something new for what felt like a long time, then went back to what you were familiar with and don't want to leave again. It will take a lot more time to fully grasps the games mechanics. For most people, it's only been out for a week and a half. Seriously. No point in giving up now. Personally, I'm going to try to wait a few more months before trying out Melee again.

Running back to your Melee-shaped bubble? This is what we call self-denial. Lording your Melee ability over others because you can't win at Brawl is... pretty pathetic. That's like boasting about whooping children at T-ball whilst sucking out loud at baseball.

Seriously, just wait for the game to be out a little longer than a month ok? Why must people insist on acting like its their first day of school and need to run back to mommy just cause they scared of something new? Because thats what retreating back to melee is on the fact that you think its a safety net.
No doubt melee was great and I pay my respects to the N64 verison for paving the way, but just because Brawl came along and busted your 7 seven year bubble of top melee playing as you call it, doesn't mean the game sucks and only sounds like ignorant whining.

If you want to stick with melee then by all means do and I mean ill-regard to anyone who does. But come on top player? ******? Anyone who was supposedly that much of a godsend to melee would not cry about losing or suck at brawl and certainly would not waste a thread on this. Lol maybe I'm just tired, but all threads like this need to be hit in the back of the head with a shovel and buried.

People who suck at brawl and are "Rapists" in Melee are the people who went to the internet and looked for advanced techniques to be spoon-fed to them, just try to dig 'em up in Brawl by yourself, or wait 'till advance techniques are discovered and posted; patience is a virtue.


Right now i must say i am pissed off at the event mode it is far easier than melee's and i was hoping for some "trophy tussle" matches... Ooh and no Skull Kid trophy makes me sad but other people will commit suicide or kill puppies or old people with orange hair and dark powers...

Captain Falcon shffling nairs and uairs across final destination, ending with a knee and an immediate taunt? SEX
Marth shfflilng fairs across final destination into a ken combo? SEX
The Ice Climbers doing a continuous desynched fair into a surprise wavesmash? SEX

Brawls alright, but for now not erotic enough

a great reason to go back to melee.....wait, no its not

you bought the game so nobody cares, nintendo doesnt care...you payed for it no get off the brawl boards and go oer to the melee ones
