Wolf's an odd one.

Because he has the most fur, I always thought he'd be the most flammable of the furries in Brawl (aside from Lucario, but that's not exactly fair, because Lucario is a steel type), because he has a little clothing and a lot of fur.

But in his up special, Fire Wolf, he DOESN'T EVEN CATCH FIRE. What's up with that?

the animation isn't fire, it's wind, and calling it fire wolf makes no sense. i think someone just got lazy and was copying the pattern from fox/falco rather than actually checking it.

It's called "Fire Wolf" for a different reason. Rather than being named after the actual combustibility properties, it's named because whoever decided to make this move deal 9 damage should have been instantly fired and sent to work on Sonic games.

(even then, I think Falco would be more flammable than Wolf because feathers are lighter and less dense than fur, and would probably catch on fire faster.)
