They’ll play him till they get gimped by the other top tiers. He has a bad matchup against a majority of them.I miss the times that wolf was a rare sight, now everyone's maining him because of some stupid bandwagon.
sure thingtop tiers. He has a bad matchup against a majority of them.
I mean you're not proving me otherwise, if my assumption of sarcasm here is correctsure thing
Cause you yourself have no proof that he loses to the top tiers so nice tryI mean you're not proving me otherwise, if my assumption of sarcasm here is correct
My opinion, guess it depends on who all one considers to be top tier. I guess no reason to continue this exchange though.Cause you yourself have no proof that he loses to the top tiers so nice try
unfortunately your opinion is wrong thenMy opinion, guess it depends on who all one considers to be top tier. I guess no reason to continue this exchange though.
Whatever you say dude, I really don't care all that muchunfortunately your opinion is wrong then
This. Also, just wanna say that I was playing Wolf long before it was cool...This community is just toxic that way. Doesn't matter who you main, scrubs are going to hate, but especially if it's a character considered high/top tier.
For me, Cloud's inclusion was the worst thing that could have happened in 4. I was so excited for one of my favorite characters in all of gaming to join Smash, but soon after started getting terrible amounts of vitriol directed at me for using a 'broken, pay to win' character. Go onto Reddit and defend yourself, get downvoted to hell for saying something as audacious as "Cloud isn't the second best character is Smash." Then Ultimate comes out and he's been nerfed into the dirt.
It's sad, but that's what comes when you play a game that has so many tryhards and wanna-be professionals. Best thing you can do is just ignore them, and say you lucked out when one of your favorite characters just happens to be good.
You and likely everyone else hereThis. Also, just wanna say that I was playing Wolf long before it was cool...
Remember when Ultimate first came out and everyone thought wolf would be doomed to low mid-tier because he lost his godly F-Smash from Brawl? Good times. Back then, only us true Wolf fans stuck with it while the masses chased after their precious tiers. Now that all the pros have taken up Wolf, suddenly he's broken and everyone and their mom plays him. I can almost feel Sakurai reaching for the nerf bat now and I hope he hasn't traded up for the Lucille version. You and likely everyone else here
I'm right there with you. I HATE camping and find it absolutely boring to do, so sometimes I have to remind myself that I can poke from a distance. If he gets nerfed, I'd still play him. IDGAF he's fun to play. They could make laser do 1% damage, or even remove the hitstun entirely and I'd still do stuff. My biggest weakness with him right now is that I don't laser enough because I like CQC and get bored with camping. I already have to make a mental note in game sometimes "oh, I should probably shoot this gun for a bit". Joke's on them if they nerf it, I forget it exists half the time.
I have to be honest, I picked up Wolf at first but wasn't convinced he was high-tier. I dropped him for Roy and Cloud, but have only recently started gravitating back to Wolf after seeing better players do well with him.Remember when Ultimate first came out and everyone thought wolf would be doomed to low mid-tier because he lost his godly F-Smash from Brawl? That's pretty understandable. Greninja was my main in Sm4sh, mostly due to Wolf's exclusion in the first place, so when Ultimate came out I was torn between the two. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't heartbroken at the loss of Wolf's brawl F-smash, and since the Ult version of wolf is so different from his Brawl version, I didn't have super high hopes for his capability either. I kept him as a secondary, but decided to focus my skills on Greninja which worked out fairly well for me. Once I saw what higher level players could do with Wolf however, I started training harder with him, and in the end, I found that he and Greninja actually compliment each other in awesome ways. Each seems to be able to cover the weaknesses of the other. To be honest though, I was hoping that Wolf would have flown under the radar a little bit better than he did. Now the cat's out of the bag and even if Sakurai doesn't nerf him, ppl are going to have his MU down to a tee. All the more reason why I think the meta will evolve to have everyone maining at least two characters in order to resist adaptation.I have to be honest, I picked up Wolf at first but wasn't convinced he was high-tier. There is nothing more orgasmic in this game than finishing a string with Wolf flash to bag the last kill of the match.I think I find it so hard to keep camping with wolf because the rest of Wolfs kit is so enjoyable and it encourages risky outrages plays. Wolf flash is rarely the best option but GOD DAMM does if fell good to finish a string with it. And I will keep going after it like a wolf goes after a deer while saying play times over *****.
All right I can't even read wolf flash and last kill without getting excited and giddy. There is nothing more orgasmic in this game than finishing a string with Wolf flash to bag the last kill of the match.
What's inconvenient about them? He can still handle the control stick of his wolfen and they help him rip apart his enemies/food into chewable pieces. Besides, those bag ladies at the grocery store seem to do just fine.Having claws like he has, can seem very inconvenient to daily living. Maybe he trims them on his off days.
I see your point. It's definitely awkward, but it's not like he's running around with Lady Deathstrike claws or anything. I've seen women type with massive nails. It's doable. I just think it would get super annoying. At least in Wolf's case, he doesn't need to worry about shaving...^Fighting for on thing: You might not always want to use a violent slash towards someone especially in training. Can he even make a fist? Anything requiring you to push in buttons, labtop or even worse a small cellular device. I know Wolf, Fox and Falco are anthros, but with claws like Wolf, handling a razor to shave(if the do grow beards and mustaches) will be tricky. And handling anything considered delicate.
Is this canon? So did any of you know that Wolf is apparently a fan of Lego Batman?
Where do you feel lacking while playing wolf what strengths with him do you see that you can't seem to bring out in him this might help me in the long run but for now I guess some general adviceHello, my name is Kj. I play online as VBlaze516. Currently, I'm picking up Wolf as one of my secondaries. I've played him for two days and made some progress, but I still feel like I'm lacking. Any friendly advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What would you say is the most reliable combo to lead into Wolf Flash? I've seen the thread with all the percentage breakdowns, but the hardest part for me is setting it up. Any suggestions?Hot take: Wolf flash as a game finisher is heavily underestimate and heavily underused, its a kill move at 30-40 and onwards that he can true combo into even at much later percents
