@ Lawz. and @Drigo Toes - I'm going to look back over the comments here and see if there are any matches where neither player has spoken up. That's correct. If he doesn't respond by Sunday you'll basically win by default. I have evidence that you have tried to make the effort, so I'm not going to punish you for it. If he does respond but you guys can't figure out a time to fight I'll again give you the win for making the first effort. I really just don't know any other way to do it that would be more fair, ya know?

Edit: I just had an idea that might make this tournament a little more workable. If you're working on the second round right now please stop. After this round I'm simply going to make new brackets with the names of the players that moved on to the next round because there are several matches where I haven't heard anything from them and so round two will be just like this one with lots of byes and inactivity. So, I'll update the OT with the new brackets on Sunday.

If they don't figure it out by the end of the day tomorrow I'll just have to DQ them. I'll create a whole new bracket for both tournaments so that those who advance shouldn't have to worry about this happening all over again.

ok guys. i'm going to count this past week as a qualification round then basically. If you are in the updated brackets then I counted you as an advance. I know that some of you just advanced by being active and other advanced through combat. I'm sorry that those active players that lost aren't continuing but maybe you guys can find another tournament to compete in while we finish these two. I wanted to be as fair as possible so if you won through a victory I tried to put you into a bye slot. If you advanced some other way I tried to put you in a match right off the bat. Hopefully this will make the most people happy. Also, just as a heads up, if you complete your matches early and you know who your next opponent is... you can certainly go ahead and work on that next round if you so please. The time limits I put in place were just to make sure that we have some sort of action each week.

Sure. In the original post you'll see the format for posting your info. If you aren't a Link main just put your primary as an alternate (to Link) and in the tournaments you'll probably just want to stick with your main because I really don't want this turning into a general purpose tournament (considering the rules state that either your main or alternate have to be Link in these tourneys). Now, of course, this thread is more than just a tournament thread, so you can use it to work on your Link match-up experience too.
