People know that in March I moved into my own place. And since then I have not been able to play wifi. This area sucks for wifi. There is one open axcess point I can find but it wont let my wii on it. Yet my DSi can ride on it. its from a library next to my building.I get on the net now on my desktop cause I bout a wireless usb card for my computer so I can ride on the librarys signal. But Wont let my damm wii on it.

Also DSL servivce is not avalible where I am at. and I tried:

versizon
Earthlink
Net Zero

This is an independent living program for 2 years. But still man, like wtf?

Wifi is what I used to keep in shape, and now that I dont have that, I have gotten worst as a player. I am no where near how I use to be back in my primes. Forgot match ups and just about anyone can beat me. I'm Jus some Peach player now. I'm old and washed up now. tournaments where I can get first or place well I do bad in them all the time. back then this crap would not be happening.

So I am done wasting cash on tournaments. I officially quit them. it's a waste of time. Just came back from a tournament where I could have gotten first, and did bad. Yet again. And I can't just go and play with people. No oner around and the ones that offer to play dont help me at all.

I'm here for 2 years. and I can't seem to get a chance to play online around here cause this area is crap. And to think I live in Manhattan. No excuse for that one. I used wifi is my strongest tool. All those good tournies and how I got known as one of the top Peach players cause of them? Wifi. And now that it is gone, there is nothing I can do and I just suck. If I was to go to tournies and stop placing like crap then that be cool. But I just lost it. So gonna spend my money on more important things.

I'm just gonna be a Peach debater and Peach teachers. thats all I can do. I know waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much with this character. yet never show it in fights like a noob. So I'll just pass on what I know to the kids and maybe they can do the job I can't. So as of now. I am just some dude who plays Peach.

What is this, like the fourth time that you've quit?

We all know that you're not actually going to quit, you're just setting up an excuse for future johns. Which is sad, because as much as I hate to admit it, you're pretty darn good at Brawl.

I don't respond to you most of the time, but I've been reading your posts for years, and they follow the same general pattern:

1) Announce you're attending a tournament
2) Do well at said tournament
3) Post about how great/underrated you are
4) Announce you're going to another tournament
5) Suck horribly at said tournament
6) John for a month
7) Announce your retirement
8) Go back to step 1

Think back to the you vs. KOS-MOS thread. You came into a thread that had nothing to do with you just to state how great you are. Most people there were rooting against you, including me. Do you know why? It's because of your attitude, and it's manifested in the majority of your posts, and threads like this. In your "Peach can win a major tournament" blog, everyone knew that you were indirectly referring to yourself, but you just wouldn't admit it. But who cares if no one likes you? In the end, that's not really something that matters. The problem is that the same attitude that makes you something of a self-perpetuating joke makes you a self-perpetuating loser in Smash.

Look man, if you're a winner, then win. That's all there is to it. We don't measure success by the amount of self-promotion a player can generate, or the creative johns he can come up with, or the alleged hardships he has to overcome. We measure success by tournament results and the people you've beaten. Winning a CT bi-weekly is nice, but no one outside of CT (and probably no one inside of CT) is going to respect that. If you want to be mentioned in the same breath as Ally, M2K, Anther and the like, then you need to WIN like they do. Winning local tournaments is a start, not the end to your journey.

So stop talking about how you're the best Peach in the nation, because we're all pretty sick of hearing it. Your actions in tournament speak louder than words. Top Smashers don't have to say they're the best, because it's already known. If you feel the need to remind people how good you are in every single thread you start, then you're not as good as you think you are. Success and skill are self-evident. If you've really achieved both, then you don't have to keep pointing at yourself and screaming, "Hey, look at me! I'm good!"

And no more johns. If you want win, then find a way to train without Wi-Fi. I don't know what that could be, but it's up to you to figure it out. Champions find ways to win. There are only two things in the tournament world: winners and losers. There are no "losers with a legitimate excuse."

tl;dr- Stop telling us how good you are and SHOW us how good you are. You beat KOS-MOS in a money match and then tied for last place at APEX. Which result do you think people are going to remember?

Jam's post is enough to make this the next BotW.

In fact, we should copypasta that into a blog called "Message For Dark.Pch", and that should be made BotW.

That was actually poetic.

I read through this hold post-

1-Some of the things said here are crazy. You assumed too much from my post. some of these things I never even said. The hell?

2- I don't know if the news has been around but I'm not emo anymore. This is a SMART choice I decided to make cause I hate wasting my money to place bad at tournies. I'm Back in school and getting back into my animation career. So I have this and my animation to take my time and money to even think about traveling to brawl.

Back then I would do fine in tournies even if I did not place all that, thats what I liked. I did not need top 7 or w/e. That's why I keep going knowing I would soon break that record. and times I have. But not it is getting pretty nasty.

Wifi is what keep me going and was my solid training ground. I cant get it here so I can't stay on point anymore. So I'll stick to the job I have on the Peach forums. If I get wifi Then I'll AdMIT right here and now, being a Man about it, I go back to playing in tournaments. Cause it would take me 2 weeks tops on wifi to get back to myself. But as of now, no. I am packing that up and gonna focus on a career that can entertain people.

Yes, that's obvious. But why not just use "Peach?" Do you have something against vowels?

Then you did a pretty bad job, because your name is a video game character prefixed with "dark."

Unless you wanted to be originally unoriginal?

In a way yes and no depending on your skill level. And other stuff. So Placing does matter. And really with the character you are using.

I'd just like to clear some things up. I NEVER MMed Dark at Apex. Our set on the livestream was a friendly set, nothing was on the line during that set. :x

EDIT: DANG Jam's a mod now! <3

I don't really know anything about you, Dark.pch. Assuming we're both on the same page from reading Jam's post, I'll just tell you to try as best you can and deal with the results. But you've probably heard that a million times, so I'll just say something more productive, like show me ya moves.

Here is the thing. I was Emo as hell back then. After Apex I been fine, the Emo died over there. But what upsets me is how I dont play like I am suppose to be playing cause I know just too much with this character for this mess. really a tournaments where I should be placing better than what I do now.

Wifi was the reason I was able to do as well as I did back then. and since I dont have it anymore, things changed and I just got worst. wifi may not help others but it sure did one hell of a job for me. Nothing is gonna change. I have to play alot to stay on point. wifi gave me that option.

So I can't do tournaments anymore, it will be a waste of money entering them. If I somehow get wifi back then, but for now I am done. This is not an emo blog for attention, lets get that thought out the window. I explained the point already. And unlike before, I am serious.

also once in a blue I get to play with people but they dont help me at all. They just have me around to be tossed left and right, that it. I dont feel any improvement playing them. and Yes I play good players like NinjaLink. I'm like 30-45 mins away from him. Not helping at all.

Well, I don't take people's words for it, mostly because I'm a distrustful *******. I can't believe that you just suddenly changed your heart, but hell, it's possible. All I'll say is good luck. Honestly. I don't care who it is, middle/low tier ftw. Do everything you and Kosmos and all other Peach players can to kick ***. I'd pay to see it.

And tell me this, DP. Doesn't watching matches also entertain people? Tell me that you aren't using that as an excuse. Doesn't M2K plan on getting a job? He still goes to tournaments.

And if you need to train without Wi-Fi, use a Level 9 CPU, finish the match, then watch the replay. Critique yourself and use your knowledge of tournaments to find out what would have and wouldn't work. You can't do this for characters with excellent stage control, like Diddy or Snake. Or with too much ATs. Or just practice things like powershielding, etc.

Or you can buy that thing from Nintendo that plugs into your computer and uses your computer's connection, allowing your DS/Wii to piggyback off of the connection.

The second is much better.

If entertainment for you is watching me get my azz kicked in tournament matches, then our views on that don't work.

Also that connector wont work. Cause you need broadband/DSL Hooked up to your PC directly for it. I cant use it like this.
