Still me getting a tournament going isn't looking too good, finding a good venue is hard.

RedRyu, I've got a venue but dunno how to run a tournament, haha.
MIAD has space whenever I need it. I just need to give them at least 2 weeks' notice.
We might have to halve the fees, though, or collecting/awarding money will be frowned upon.

milwaukee tourney would be awesome.
I like how it's a quinkfest instead of a quyncfest.
I'm like 30 miles due north of the quinkfest, so I may make it if I work out transportation.
I think milwaukee area got more interest because me, sanchaz, sync, and quaz all moved there. Thats gotta be like a third of all wisconsin melee players.

<3 this. I've had a lot of trouble finding a venue.

I can talk to Jordan about this since he is better with running it than I am, still I can gladly help out.

I just don't think having melee and brawl at the same event brings many smashers. Websters tourneys have both events all the time and usually they don't get as much as each game would in their own seperate event. Its also really annoying having to wait for someone to play in melee because they're playing brawl matches (and vice versa)
