ASC, in and of itself, is a freaking aerial down-B.
That's not an AT.
Down-B = Spin Charge
Aerial Down-B = Aerial Spin Charge
Aerial Spin Charge = ASC for short.
Aerial Down-B = ASC
lol
If you mean ASC multi-hit combo and shield cancelling, then those are non-obvious move properties. However, I believe the programmers left those in either intentionally or non-intentionally.
If by AT you mean anything that's not obvious to people like Zorai, then okay, I'll concede.
I'm bored, so I'll entertain this one.
Every character gets CG'd by IC's. A large chunk of the cast can get CG'd by Dedede.
Now the problem is how and when do you grab Sonic?
Oh man, you know, the other day
months ago
someone found out that tall people can infinite grab Wario into a kill move. omgrape
But how do you go about grabbing a Wario/Sonic?
When the
player screws up.
Metaknight has like no AT's. Awesome way to imply criteria for a good character.
Sonic has exploitable move properties and mobility, and spinshot (if you don't know what it is, go read up on your **** before you start threads like this) makes up for a bit, apparently.
I'm sure anyone who sucks at the game gets ***** by players who are better than them.
As far as I know, there aren't many characters that can "****" Sonic from 0-90/death from two-three setups.
Wanna see some bestial ****? Try DK vs Dedede.

holy crap, I just learned something.
Apparently if character A has an advantage against character B, character B
doesn't have a bad matchup against character A.
FYI, alot of Sonic's matchups (at a relatively higher level of play) are neutral in actual gameplay - and these were reached from a consensus by people who main both Sonic and the character whose matchups we discussed.
Neutral matchups mean that the better player will pretty much win.
basically, why do you use him?
If you've ever thought of using the search function, you would have found the 5 or so other locked threads asking the question. The main response is that a bunch of these people are fanboys and use Sonic because they're Sonic fanboys.
A few of us see player-against-player potential (in other words, tools to fool your opponent into messing up) with his mixups, shield cancels, and run speed to punish misses.
There's nothing to convince you
of.
It's not like any of us want
you to become a Sonic main.
