Why Marth? Why not Marth?

hello... Let me get straight to the matter, ever since melee i have used the pawnage machine "Roy"(may Nintendo suffer for leaving you behind). Now that Nintendo decided to drop Roy i switched to Marth sine they kind of play the same way. Recentlyy i thoygh tof switching my main but everytime i am about fight a brawl...I CHOOSE MARTH. the question is... why marth? why not marth?...

P.s: if i should switch my main it would be to ike, because he reminds me of ROY.

People really probably choose him because they are their favorite. Like any other character. Marth just seems really popular because well... he is good, has a fun playstyle, and after learning him well can be devastating.

Actually his sister don't die, she is just captured by the enemy (and may *****), but just before she gets captured, she gave the tiara of doom to marth and warped him (wile he was trying to protect her) to protect him. In the end of FE 3, you can rescue her if you talk to her whit marich (Marth's dear friend and marich love his sister, as marth's sister loves marich... hard core).

But yea defeat armies and a priest whit god like powers at 14 years whit no pants and a tiara + 5 years later defeat more armies infested of dragons and kill the god of greed and get maried whit a hot princes whit no pants and a tiara. Men marth is one of the most hard core persons ever, and he's the most hard core bishie ever.

That hapends if you don't rescue her whit marich or if you don't reclute marich and kill her before killing medus (cause she'll be a STRONG enemy mage unless you reclute her), but that way you can even kill her whit marth

I didn't know marth could kill marich...

Being bad ***. Being a pimp. Having god like powers. Completely decimating your enemies regardless if whether or not they were once close to you.

Pretty much everything Marth is/does in his games.

-fast attacks..less lag time
-has the ability to gimp/spike
-attacks are somewhat powerful
-reliable kill moves
-has Counter, his downB.
-has shieldbreaker. breaks shields + can force opponents into situiations
-attacks have good range
-alright recovery, utilizing side&neutral B
-hard to escape cheap chaingrab against ness, and lucas(?)
-could be classified as an "offensive" character but is good defensively
-wears a tiara(opinion, but i think its badass)

not good:
-way predictable approach if you dont get creative
-somewhat easy to gimp
-midweight(?)=easier to KO in general
-recovery can be useless in situiations
-ability to combo isnt as good, besides sideB(stringing fAirs doesnt count)
-doesnt have a projectile
-poor defense against projectiles. attack priority & counter can help sometimes.
-people question his sexuality/presence of genitals.
(opinion again, it doesnt bother me so much ^_^)

conclusion: marth is good, but if you want to win play king ddd!

I find Snake much more reliable than Marth, but the again Marth teh Combo Breaker and Snake doesn't.

but i definitely respect marth more than roy after playing most of the fire emblem games because he is the fire emblem main just like mario is to super mario bros(lol)

he now has a bigger sword and he is definitely older, he wears a different suite, he has a manlier voice and changed his hair even his name to ike

Marth or Marth users tend to be on the opposite end of a joke probably due to being overly defensive about character potential. I'm usually made fun of when it pertains to Smash. Marth being a women also usually fits somewhere into the humor. Although, the humor usually starts after I just four stocked my opponent.

Moral of the story; don't poke fun at Marth mains. They poke harder than you do.
