Why is Young Link a Peach Counter?

and Uair does hurt peach, but it's all about the bomb + Dair. it ***** any floaty really. but at least with marth, he can use range to approach where as the peach has create clever traps.
I just think YL is a severely under estimated character

Don't generalise gimpy. :< I never considered myself the term counter meaning someone has a tiny advantage on someone else. >_> Counter means a character outright counters someone and has a huge advantage, like Marth vs Mewtwo and sheik vs half the cast sheik can cg and so on.

Young Link is not a Peach Counter!!
Yea, what you see above. Playing Cort showed me that Peach is very tough when played expertly, and i also felt some disadvantages while playing her. Yes, Young Link does well against her but a Peach thats fast up close pillaring you to death.....its not only hard but scary.
I definitely learned a lot off of 5 matches, and Cort, i give you a lot of respect....but on these boards.....i can't really say you gave me the same. Im not here to say i beat a Pro at anything, i would like to do it and prove it to people, i don't wanna seem like a noob here in a public forum. If you don't believe my words fine, ignore it, but do not flame me for anything, i wouldn't lie about beating a Pro. If i came off offensive to you Cort by saying i won in a set then i apologize. Well the main thing every Young Link and Peach main has to know is Peach is very difficult for us. We are not counters....but we do very well. Thank you for reading.

Oh cool. Someone understands what YL vs. Peach feels like. And its coming from a good source too(Jash).
You must know how the Peach your playing against plays like or else you have no chance of winning. You might as well pick another character. This is indeed one of Young Link's hardest match ups, and it can be for Peach as well if shes not careful.

I never said it was a counter, i was referring to the match up chart which listed Y link a 7 and Peach a 3 (according to this its supposed to be her worst match up) but as i stated before...this thread has proven the match up chart to be a bunch of BS
any thread that is based on that matchup chart should be closed immediately

I've always thought of Bowser bondage whenever he down throws someone, his collar even turns into a choke chain on him....

no one here said they took that match up chart like it's the 'smash bible'. my whole reason for starting this thread was in question of the accuracy of the match up chart, and the only way for ppl to know how accurate it is or not is if they discuss the match ups and hear from both sides. after all this is a forum made for discussions, and creating this thread has brought up some interesting points and strategies from both peach and y. link players.
