I don't think you're doing this intentionally, but to me you're kind of mocking legally insane people by saying that you chose to be insane.

Being insane isn't something you choose to do. You don't wake up one day and say, "Hey, I'm going to be insane today." It doesn't work that way.

Mental freedom is something completely different.

Also, your chess analogy really didn't work well. Taking the pawn is the logical thing to do, therefore I will do that. If you'd like to do something else, then go ahead and be illogical. Illogical=/=insane.

What is insane but a definition for not following our traditional standards of living and beliefs? Perfectly sane people are denounced as insane because they have beliefs or lifestyles people consider abnormal and/or radical.

You're claiming to be insane. When people see that, they think of the DEFINITION of sane, not just what you think it is. We don't know what you think it is, we base it off the definition. Claiming to be special and claiming to not be sane are completely different, which is why Teran brought up what he did.

Well that's what it morphed into, and you were the one that claimed to be insane. You said this:
