I think that one random dude that screamed something like: "You can't edgeguard M2k, you suck" in his set with PP? is a lot worse because he was basically making direct attacks to him.

also the "they have chants in football" argument that some of you are making is pretty dumb, it isn't even a remotely comparable situation.
It kind of is.

This does remind me of an interesting anecdote, though. You see, here in North Carolina, there is a heated rivalry between the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Duke University, a private institution located in Durham, just a couple miles down the road. It is one of the most heated rivalries in college sports, possibly in all sports. This rivalry is particularly volatile in Basketball, and Duke University plays this up by having its student section in Cameron Indoor Stadium located right behind the benches. The students in this section, dubbed the "Cameron Crazies" hurl insults, trash talk, and obscene chants at the players from UNC for the entire game. It's a little known fact that the Crazies are credited with creating the "air ball" chant in a 1979 game against the Tar Heels.

How do the UNC players react? They bask in it. One player whose name I can't recall actually complimented the Crazies on the creativity of their chants. Some of them actually say they play better at Cameron Indoor because the trash talk gives them focus. No one complains that the Crazies are giving college ball a bad name or that they're rude and inappropriate. They go out there, they play their game, and they let the fans do their thing.

The fact is, trash talk and rude chants are a part of sports, especially where rivalries are involved. Rather than get your panties in a twist, just let it go and play the game.

Also, dude above me's named Zio? You're probably trash.

I am definitely trash. In all seriousness, I do have a lot of respect for what Peepee does, his skill level, and his overall character as a human being.

I mean damn bro, if I'm trash, of course I'd be a bitter internet troll yo >:'(

You're killing eSports!
I think the "Leffen Sucks!" chants were rude and disgraceful. I am glad that it was quickly booed down. However, I do not think we should have a rule against offensive chants; let the crowd say what they want, and "boo" if you disapprove. This is America after all, First Amendment and all that.

Also, I'd like to point out that the OP proposed a Jigglypuff ban in another thread.

Metal reaper - um, noooo... On Friday, yes it was started by Norcal. In crews on Saturday night, the majority of Norcal/WC was not even at the venue when Leffen played crews. We were watching the 49ers/Packers game and came later when KK vs. Axe was happening.

Remember Uruguay vs. Ghana in the 2010 World Cup? How Luiz Suarez did what it took to win(which was grabbing the ball and throwing it out, hoping that his goalie could save the penalty, which he did)? After his 1 game suspension with a red card for an intentional handball, he was booed whenever he had the ball. Did anyone condemn those fans? No.

KG told Tim Duncan "Happy Mother's day" knowing his mother died of cancer.

:awesome:

That is trash talk.
Anything less is fair game, people have a freedom of speech lol and if you really can't handle someone saying you suck or cheering against you (or even cheering for someone that's not you) stop doing compettitive stuff lol.

This is not a gentleman's sport.
