Who will be your main?

Definitely Pit. Man, everyone loves Pit. XD Since I have a bad feeling Young Link's about to get the boot, I hoping Pit will be a good replacement. He looks light and fast and he'll likely have good recovery. Bow and blade as well, plus I love characters that fight with two knives. :D I'll miss the bomb. Young Link's bomb pwned.

After that, Meta Knight. I love Kirby and swords, so Meta Knight (puffball with a sword) is right up my alley! I'll probably still use Kirby too though. I've used in the last two, may as well use him in this one, too.

Zero Suit Samus looks interesting. For some reason she reminds me of a floaty Sheik, but it look like she'll have better range. I don't like playing as Sheik or Samus too much though, so I might not like her. We'll see.

Might try to get good with Link in this game. He's really awkward for me though and his play style is completely different than Young Link's, so I'm uncertain.

Finally, I'll root out the Pichu of this game and try to get awesome with them. Humiliation FTW.

Of course, I'll try playing with every character, too. Those are just the definites right now. And we all are subject to change our mind as more info comes out. ^_^

Don't worry, Young Link will most likely be replaced by young Link, Wind Waker style.
A young Link is the one Miyamoto had in mind originally for this 'Link' hero, he prefers the lovely cartoony style, and I believe it's generally well-received.
I have no doubts that we will see him in Brawl. I just hope the team won't go out of their way to make him "different" from old Link in his moves. Seriously, who the hell CARES if their B-moves LOOK similar! Old Link doesn't RELY on them, they aren't as good and he's not nearly fast enough to use them effectively, they play COMPLETELY differently!
If they give Young Link the Skull Hammer, I'll be depressed for days and main someone else. Probably.

But at the second trailer, Wario did some attacks that looked like some of Bowser's. (back-air, for example. And it was REALLY laggy) Is that a bad omen? o_O

Metaknight. I don't care if he's as nerfed as a fourth-grade birthday party, I will main him, at least alongside Fox. He is my all-time favorite video game character, because he is dynamic. Over the past fifteen years, we've seen him go from lackey, to wholesale destroyer, to willful loner, to sagacious mentor. Character development FTW.

I like Skull Kid for the same reason, and I like Geno because he's Jesus, just like Olimar.

And Galaxia. And his crazy pool of possible B moves. And his stage.

I want to be Metaknight when I grow up.

I am sooo much of an MGS fan I just couldn't resist Snake.

MGS 2 and MGS 3 are my favorite games on the PS2. I am now a Wii owner and have chosen not to purchase a PS3. I love MGS, but I am not about to pay an obscene amount of cash to play one game. If or when the PS3 gets a stronger library, I may just pick one up. I wish the Konami team the best of luck in coming out with #4, I won't be able to enjoy it for a while. =o(

I will only use CONFIRMED characters.

In no particular order...

-Mario: One of my last picks to main in Melee, but turned out to be one of my favorites. Now he comes back with the Doc.Punch and the FLUDD! That along with the cape will make him the ultimate Edgeguarding machine.

-Sonic: Sonic the Hedgehog is perhaps my favorite videogame franchise (second to SSB that is...) Proving those Nintendo purists what this hedgehog's got has always been something I've been looking forward to... And now I have the chance! He'll be MY speed demon for sure.

-Ice Climbers: Screw you all, retro haters. Those of you who threw the rumor of the IC being cut... I'm also looking forward to using these fellas to prove classic Nintendo's worth, online! I'll make them sorry for making fun of the Ice Climbers.. and especially for always being their Top 1 choice to remove from the SSB Rosters >

-Peach: This chick is in my Top 3 Melee Mains, along with Mario and Ice Climbers. My signature Skin would be Daisy (cause I LOVE Super Mario LAND). Not much to say about her...

-Pit: Kid Icarus has become, perhaps my 2nd favorite Nintendo franchise! (StarTropics still is #1. Elite Beat Agens would be 2nd if we consider it NINTENDO). How this game turned from being hated to being loved by me was something I won't ever forget! Pit is an awesome and unique character.. And I LOVE Long-raned characters, so Pit is my choice. I also loved Young Link's nimble movements, so Pit is the closest thing to a YL in Brawl (next to Link, lol). Arrows + Speed + Wings = SUCCESS!!!

That's it... my Top 5.

Note: The lack of Wavedash MIGHT eliminate the Ice Climbers from my Top 5. :S But maybe it won't.

Definately Pokemon Trainer! I was expecting Brawl to be epic. I wasn't expecting my favourite group of starters to be playable (which is ironic since I never owned Red/Blue/Yellow), including my overall favourite Pokemon, Charizard. Pokemon is also my favourite game franchise, might I add.

Sonic will also be one of my favourite characters to use. I mean, he's Sonic! I love quite a few of the Sonic games, a mixture of the old and new. Plus I was a Sega and Sony fan before finally falling under the might of Nintendo, and realising they were better.

I will use all the other characters too, since I like variety, but other favourites will be Link, Yoshi and the Kirby characters.

Though I will you most of the characters plenty, I will likely main Link.

And I'd like to try to get good at using the Pokémon Trainer, but he's unique and to master him would be like truly mastering three characters, which would indeed, after working at it, would certainly have it's advantages.

But I always have gotten really good with Link in SSB and SSBM, and I will in SSBB, especially since he will be faster and stronger.

I hope the stamina thing isn't too much of a problem for the Pokémon Trainer, I fear it might be rather restrictive...I'd certain have to take some time to adjust to very frequently switching what character I'm using in the middle of brawls...

That's one thing I won't have to worry about with other characters, including Link. I'll probably end up using Meta Knight a decent bit too, so many combo possibilities, and good recovery, and, if it hits, his Final Smash is effective.

My most wanted character has yet to be confirmed; Lucario. Should he be confirmed as playable, I would have to main him, but probably as well as Link.

The other characters that I would like to see as playable characters are:

Ridley. As much as I'd like to see him as a playable character, I can't shake the feeling that he's going to be a boss in Subspace Emissary.

Wolf O'donell,

Krystal. I don't see any reason for her not to be playable, the Star Fox series needs more reps, especially if Falco isn't returning.

Wolf Link (with or without Midna, either works for me). Now this I see as highly unlikely...although, some long while back, that Smash File of Link did pique my interest, below is roughly the message that caught my attention, as best as I can remember it.

"In Twilight Princess Link is able to transform into a wolf, whether he'll have this ability in Brawl is yet to be seen."

Now I know his special moves have been revealed on the dojo, and they don't include the transformation, but that doesn't mean he couldn't appear as another character entirely.

Charizard is my second most wanted character, and after quite a while of just hoping, but thinking he'll probably just be in a Poké Ball again, like both the other Super Smash Bros. games, he was confirmed playable, as one of three Pokémon used by a character by the very simplistic name of *drum roll* Pokémon Trainer.

If all the characters I'd like to see as playable make it in (very unlikely, but one of them already has, one of the seemingly unlikely ones, so who knows, we've had many surprises already) then I'll be maining a lot of characters.

Main: Sonic
Two Secondaries: Marth, Pit.

That gives me my speed deamon, my distance fighter (Pit), and my swordsman (Marth.)

If Ike didn't suck I'd put him in as a third...ary (what's after secondary?)
