Wario, unless they make all of his moves fart based, then i will go with snake.

Well, Sakurai said Wario will have at least 1 fart based move, meaning not all the moves will be fart-based. I think his moveset will revolve around punching and wrestling moves, like in Wairo World.

Well, I've had a thing for older characters lately and even started playing Melee with Mr G&W recently, so Pit is looking pretty good, despite the fact I have always been a fan of the Kirby characters

He seems like another slow and strong character to me. Which is unfortunate, because, I mean, it's Solid Snake! I like him, and I would want to play him, but he's too slow for me. Ah well. Pit is actually someone I might try out. He looks to be rather quick and nimble.

I've always liked kirby... so I'll keep playing with him... also i've always liked charactars with swords... so i'll also play with pit and maybe link and marth.

but now we've got a kirby with a sword:D so i guess that my favorite will be metaknight.

but there are many things that could change my favo charactar...

Pit looks really interesting to me right now. If he has DjC and a good mix of range and melee attacks with some decent/excellent speed while not being extremely light, then yes, I'd love to use him as my main.

If Ness or some other Mother/Earthbound character makes it into the roster, I will try my hardest to work with their moves to become well talented as that character, hopefully main. *hopes for Ness' return*

Hrmm... Metaknight looks to be a mixture of Kirby and marth, I'm interested to see how that goes. But yeah, none of the current characters make me go "OMG! I HAVE TO MAIN HIM/HER!" Pit only just happens to stick out the most.

Assuming that Zero-Suit Samus is as agile as she looks, she'll probably be my main ... otherwise Fox.

yes it is. if you have power but your to slow to do any real damage whats the point? look at sheik she's incredibly weak but she's realy quik and she pwns many.

Nah, I meant how good characters are at combos and stuff. What's a speedy character when you almost never can pick up punches? But at least speed is very important.

i am a person that likes speed alot. my faves in ssbm are fox falco and c.falcon

Yea, and those are characters that at least can fight. I mean, Mewtwo is the not the slowest character in smash but is he the best? The only one I know that can play with Mewtwo is Taj.

Speed isn't necessarily the best stat. It just happened that the speed characters were given some of the best attacks. Fox's reflector and Up Smash, Sheik's aerial forward A, any of Marth's attacks, and Falco's spike. And because they have less lag and more speed, they can utilize these already great moves.

I say a good portion of crazy strong attacks should be given to the strong characters such as DK or Bowser.

Out of the new characters I definately want to main as Wario or possibly Snake. Metaknight and Pit look kinda boring to me.

are u sure it isint just that the speed characters are the best. and the are other chracters with spikes like falco its just that he is fast wich makes ihm better than the rest of them.

My point is that speed characters have moves that are as powerful or more powerful then big characters. So big characters only have slightly more weight as an advantage and with their massive size making them walking targets, the extra weight doesn't help them that much.

(I'm just mad that they all jumped on Metaknight's bandwagon before I could get there, Meta's one of my favorite game characters.)

I think it's pretty neat that he can perform so many different combos in the air with his sword, I find it really fun to successfully pull off good combos in the air, because it feels more rewarding than combos on the ground, jumping through the air knocking your opponent back, it's mysteriously entertaining. :D

Out of the Newcomers so far, I'd probably main Snake, I was so surprised the day I found out he was in it, and saw the first trailer for SSBB.
