It has infinite disadvantages, never use this.

The startup is slow.

It doesn't do good damage.

It doesn't do good knockback.

It doesn't have priority.

It has plenty of warning that it's coming.

It's slow.

It has crappy range.

It's uncontrollable.

It has TERRIBLE ending lag.

It's ******** to use this in a short hop to attack.

NEVER.

In the rare event that your opponent actually gets hit by such a slow attack, the knockback and ending lag are so bad that you'll be hit before the lag ends.

Well, a Falcon Kick shouldn't surprise opponents. It's startup is pretty slow, and by the time he says "Falcon Ki--", he gets barraged in a frenzy of attacks. So yeah, stay away from this move.

I never use it for SH, that's just plain ******** the lag is just terrible. I just use it on the ground after a good down a to knock'em back to a possible knee.

i use it on the ground when my oppnent is really close, then it has some good knockback, but not as an aerial.
Good knockback? Well, I used a ground Falcon Kick, but it didn't do so much as flinch the opponent. Even then, if you knock him back, the ending lag will give the opponent a chance to get back at you.

falcon kick is sometimes surprising in games but never short hopped. ur better off just using it regularly on the ground and rarely.

Let's stop talking about Falcon Kick now.

I'm getting sick.

Just don't use it.

Save very rare occasions when you're running out of options and you just gotta get out.

Everything is a mindgame. Falcon Kicks = Mindgames

Mindgames = Victory

Falcon Kick = Victory

You see where I went with that?

Falcon Kick, almost as good as the knee!

Falcon kick almsot as good as the knee?! Are you comparing the flimsy lame ember kick with the electrifying sweetspot sexy overwhelming knee?! The falcon kick, may surprise your opponent, but it isnt that great due to its lag time, and most of the time a falcon kick is quite easy to dodge. Falcon Kick is jsut a move to show Falcon his real beauty. He stretches out his legs and performs a graceful flaming kick as he slides across the gorund magnificintly like a beautiful swan princess.

Seriously, Falcon kick should NOT be incorporated in anyone's game (other than recovery). It has too many disadvantages.

uh yeah, when I get in a tech battle and they miss one I pull it out followed by the infamous knee guess I shouldn't do that then.

Why have a move if you don't use it to an advantage?

Why use a move that can be cause a disadvantage? Im not saying the falcon kick is bad, its just that it can leave you to several open spots due to its long lag. but then again it can prove to be a great sneak attack, like kirbys suprise suck.

I use the FALCON KICK in the air in one way that works good. If you double jump and u fast fall and your about to hit the floor use it at that moment and he will say "falcon kick" but you see no fire and your already on the ground. It tricks people into trying to attack you because they think your lag time is low. Good bait.
I saw it on the Isai video lemme try to find it.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=vZSNqespR44 @ 2:02. It does 7 dmg if u actually hit them with it but why do that if you can do other moves unless u wanna show off

there still is the lag, just no visual clues. only audio, which many smashers don't pay close enough attention to to catch it.

ground falcon kick has nice priority (probably because of the flames) and has good knockback at close range. its lag is huge but the startup isnt bad at all, and it can still carry you pretty far so that most of the time your opponent can't chase you. stop saying it's useless, i've seen it used as a priority attack plenty of times.

aerial falcon kick? good for recovery. not useless. as an attack? yeah, if you wanna be sexy :D

if you can heavy land like silent wolf, then you are really really sexy.
