Takeshi means when Brawl comes out. People are making challenges before the game is out. First character I will try is Mario, Mario for LIFE!

[I'm not a fanboy, but a fan, fanboys are stupid...]

There is an edit button on your post that shows a small edit post form, its very helpful. And if the site goes stupid and infinitely trys to post the edit, just hit go advanced and hit submit there, the quick reply is stupid at times, and the show your siggy button is by default off. X_X

It sucks so far. There's an enormous amount of glitches! I'm the voice actor for Fox MCcloud. My name is Shinobu Satouch, and I played it!

I'm just an ordinary text line, nothing important, you see "just kidding," you're a noob for believing me!!!!!!!!!

Anyways....I think there will definitely be more voice in Brawl....I just got this hunch.

BTW, what do you guys think of that footstool jump=???

I think it could be neat, and would be a real good edgeguarding move if timed and programed properly.

I think the footstool jump is a nice addition since it can be used strategically and is situational as well. It may even be used for team combos. Now it seems like every character has a meteor attack.

I'm kind of lukewarm about the footstool. It could mean major engine changes, which means major gameplay chagnes. I have faith in Sakurai, though.

And I actually think there won't be voice acting in Brawl. Subtitles, and the occasional character grunt / sound/ non-voice will be implemented.

Some of the characters speaking (Kirby, DK, Bowser, etc.) just wouldn't sound right.

Well, of course, though I will up-air whoever in their right mind tries using me as a footstool, with the c-stick so I won't lose my second jump [that's the semi-final part of recovery].

Tornado, Cape, jump, Up-B, order of recovery.

If you can footstool forward airs, that would be sweet, the biggest flaw of Mario's f-air is that you die if you use that off the edge, so if you can use someone's head as a boost *dreams*.

It might be useful, won't be the most important tech in the game but it could have uses, Captain Falcon's dair could become more useful perhaps in edgeguarding.

But if the opponent pulls a trick [Pika's up-B], the opponent will be in for a nasty surprise.

I think your right about the voice-acting. Besides, actions speak louder than words.

Maybe they will, but I think we will be happy if they are at least mid tier.

I'm imagining trying to footstool a laggy attack, and then boom, they dodge out of the way [like Pika's up-B]. That could be nasty.

No, the Pika isn't commiting suicide, the Pika is a target. you try jumping off for the footstool and the pika uses the double up-B to get out of the way. The one edgeguarding will receive an enjoyable plummet.

I know this is a little old, but http://health.howstuffworks.com/drug-ranking.htm
Keep in mind that marijuana is under tobacco and alcohol, and you have to consider that everything is taken in moderation.

Footstool jump, will either be really cool, or really lame

Really Cool:easy to do, not broken
Really Lame: easiest spike in the game, and every character can do itT_T

woot, 600 posts!

Of course, tobacco and alcohol are IMO worse. Tobacco is not as deadly but its more addictive so you cannot escape it, alcohol kills you if you try to quit, and both are legal almost everywhere. I don't like them or pot. I don't like any drugs except medicine, which I only take on a prescription basis.

Actually, its lame if its either so overpowered and its the main focus in the game [overpowering the other techs], or its so weak that its a useless tech. I'd like if all character can do it though.

And shinespiking sounds like it will be more fun this time around. And if Brawl has a recorder for the SD card, I will record it [the failing footstool].

I think it won't do much damage, but it will be a good meteor spike. It could very well be a intresting tech. LOL at this, someone showed me a link to some Nsider forum or something, and people were crying at this addition to Brawl/the series....LOL!

Well, I don't think it'll be weak because he says its a spiker so....definately won't be weak. However I do see it being constantly used until people find ways around it.

damage wise it will be weak....I see it doing 15% max

Isn't it obvious, jumping out of the way. :) If you get caught by this, you'd have already been dead almost any other method. I can see this works best for characters with slow meteors and horrible recoveries [like Mario]. If Fox stays the way he is he won't need it, though Falco will love it [unless they dodge...]

Why would people cry to this? If the shield had a jetpack I would cry [not really], but a footstool jump is nothing.

Guide to Competitive Gaming Leave your inner "scrub" behind!

That was on the ad

And yes, I would be tempted, Samus down-air, Mario's fair, and Fox's shinespike [provided anything can be footstooled] would be awesome to footstool. Now imagine Falco's dair.

And see you Shiko. :)

Scrubs, scrubs, scrubs, scrubs, scrubs, scrubs, scurbs!

I said Nsider forum, that should have been a hint. ;)

I see the footstool jump doing a max of 11%, but having jaor meteor impact damage. I see the heavier characters maybe doing either more damage or impact, or both. Bowser's would probably be like a near insant KO in the 130%'s....lol.

Honestly, if wavedashing and other advanced tactics are kept, then I'd have to learn them...which would stink >______> but, if they don't keep them, it doesn't affect me very much I guess. I bought a Wii almost just for Brawl, so I hope it lives up to the hype.

The random discussion started with me saying I dislike Pot....

And yes, I'd love to record that, I can see it now. But it depends on how the jump is.

1) You do an aerial attack [any], and when you press X/Y as soon as your attack connects you can jump on your enemy at the same time back to the stage.

2) If you press X when you make contact you land on the enemy, and from there you can do a spike.

I like 1 better, more versatile, and has more use. And more probability of failure, I lke it, prevents people from being stupid. :)

And the crying was from a bunch of idiots. Why would they even cry, what were their arguments [I know they were scrubs, but what did they say], I didn't particularly like the idea at first [resistant to change], but I'd rather see it in action, could very well benefit my Main and deepen the game.

Even if all the techs were easy, there would be so many of them that the game is still difficult, just mentally.

When you say Dylan, you are adressing him? Cause the idiots crying were nsiders. If you are addressing him, I'm pretty sure he did play Majora's mask, I won't actually tell if I do cause you are adressing only him, but he is offline right now..

I am still mesmorized by my sig, and am still hoping its the first option.
