Which of my characters would be best for facing MK?

I'd go to their boards, but that's three difefrent topics, so I simplified things, and I'd figure asking the MK users themselves would be a good source.

I use Falco, Ness, and Olimar

I assume Falco would be the best, but correct me id I'm wrong.

(btw, the sig is just for show. I don't really have a position on the debate)

You're kind of wrong. In a set, use Olimar game 1, Falco on your counterpick (Jungle Japes), and depending on where they take you for their counterpick choose your character (usually will be either Olimar or Ness, unless they don't know you play Falco when it's their CP).

I would say oliamr, then agian I main him, if your lucky and the mete knight palyer dumb enough to take the pikmin as bait you can do some good grabing. I know pikmin whip can stop the tornado move

The best character to go up against Meta Knight...is Meta Knight. That's why I picked him up as a secondary.

I personally find MK boring. I tried using him once, and I lost interest. I do respect those epic knights though

Up until I started playing Meta Knight I was terrible at fighting in the air at all with anyone so I enjoy using him. I'm not epic by any means as Olimar is still my main man.

If you're gonna use Olimar just remember your Pikmin Tether out prioritizes his Tornado.

Don't bother throwing pikmin, he'll just slaughter them.

Space and grab, don't spam up smash or up throw, they are your best kill moves for a character as light as Meta Knight.

Psh? Style, shmyle. Just CG dair them to there doom(jungle japes). Olimar is good against metaknight but no where near as good as falco imo.

It depends heavily on whether or not Planking is banned. If it's not, getting ahead in % does all but cinch the win.

Good Olimars are frightening to play against, and it's difficult to approach them with anything other than tornado, from my experience. Olimar seems to have a lot of attack power in front of and above him, so that leaves the spots diagonally upward as the relative safe zones, and I think Meta Knight has a harder time hitting opponents who are diagonally below him, save some really tight spacing with dair. Out of those characters, I'd be most afraid of facing a good Olimar. A good Falco would be the runner-up. Again, this is just from my experience.

There are really a lot of factors that would sway the effectiveness of each character, though, such as your skill with each character, your opponent's experience, stage choice, and so on.

Falco.

Falco can pretty much go dead even with MK with the right spacing and use of his Blaster. Both the Blaster and Reflector can save you from the dreaded Mach Tornado. Just don't try to Dsmash him a lot or (obviously) spike him while offstage.

On second thought, I think that Falco has more potential against Meta Knight than Olimar, due to the fact that his recovery is not as gimpable as Olimar's, he has the chain throw, and he is a better character than Olimar. I have a really hard time fighting Olimar right now, but I think that as I get more experience the matchup will become easier for me.

you can probably do fine with any of the three, but I would recommend falco over the other two. just be really really gay
